After the news of Bushiki's and Cristina's limit break reached the Wind Clover City, the festival that was planned to happen after 15 days or so started immediately.

Elena did not go out for the first day and gave Lin Yan and Xiang Xiaofang some time to enjoy their happiness with other residents of the world. Even though Elena was very happy with the limit break, she would never be able to feel how a believer of the gods would feel like, as she was not a believer of those goddesses but a friend.

So Elena let them spend the first day with other believers and from the second day onwards all three of them could just enjoy the festival like normal.

This festival that was happening in the Wind Clover City was mainly for three gods. They were the Low Goddess of Good Harvest, Intermediate Goddess of Bountiful Farming and High Goddess of Heaven Conquest.

But this time, two more gods were added to the list of worshipped deities. They were obviously the Superior Goddess of Myriad Weapons and the Superior Goddess of Profound Magic.

So the whole city was filled with items related to those goddesses. To represent the Goddess of Bountiful Farming and Goddess of Good Harvest various kinds of rare fruits were sold in the market which were the speciality of the Wind Clover City.

As for their beloved Goddess of Heaven Conquest, Tiandi, they were selling red coloured charms and models of small red coloured buildings. And for the newly promoted superior goddesses, that were selling weapons and magic items for obvious reasons.

Elena did not get to check the magic item shops yesterday so she went straight to those shops. To be honest, the type of magic items found in the area of influence of Tiandi were vastly different from any other magic items found in any other parts of the world and also in a bad sense.

The magic items found here were specially created with cultivators in mind, so all of them were very monotonous. Any regular mage who would have a lot of versatile spells would not be happy with these magic items. The same was the case for Elena, but still she bought quite a few interesting ones as souvenirs.

Next Elena was forced to check out more than 10 weapon shops as the boys were way too interested in them. After Elena had broken the limits and her blacksmith skills had improved by leaps and bounds, she had lost interest in weapons a bit.

Actually almost all the weapons have very similar functions and the wielders were the ones who could make a difference. They were not like magic items where weak ones might have an interesting effect. For weapons, a high level person could never use a low level weapon, but it was possible for even a high level person to find a low level magic item useful. That was the reason why Elena was interested in regular weapons which were not magic items.

Obviously Lin Yan and Xiang Xiaofang had a different opinion than her. It made sense too. They did not have the capability to create weapons for themselves and were also not strong enough to find all the weapons to be trash tier, so they could enjoy looking at them.

After visiting so many shops, Lin Yan only bought 2 weapons. One was a small dagger which he bought for his sister and another one was a bow that he found interesting. After the axe, Lin Yan had the highest talent in using a bow so Elena recommended him to buy one.

On the other hand, Xiang Xiaofang bought a grand total of 13 weapons that included swords, spears nunchacks and more. He was not the type of martial artist who used weapons as their main method but still he bought so many because he was a weapon collector. This was a little hobby that he had. Even when he was still a prince, he had a whole storeroom filled with various kinds of weapons.

As a saint rank strong individual, most of the weapons that he bought were completely useless to him. But still he ended up buying them mostly because of their looks. If it looked cool then he would buy it. It was actually a waste of a lot of money but having a hobby was important in life so Elena did not stop him.

After that they just walked around the city without any plans and soon it was evening. Yesterday everyone spent the whole day just drinking and praying so the first ritual of the festival that was supposed to happen yesterday would be performed today.

It was a fun little ritual to give their thanks to the already mentioned three gods. So all the households would give at least one type of fruit as an offering to the gods. Then the priest would send those offerings to the divine realm and the gods would light up a bonfire in acknowledgement.

That lighting up of the bonfire was equivalent of the gods accepting their offering and granting them their blessing. So all the residents then would dance and party around the bonfire. But alcohol was off limits for the day as kids were also supposed to be participating in this bonfire party.

It was a very happy little ritual and Elena liked the idea of it. So she also decided to participate in it.

As an outsider, she needed to let the temple know that she was also going to participate in the ritual. For that she needed to harvest fresh fruits from an orchard and then offer that to the goddesses.

The good news was that the temple itself had a small orchard where Elena, Lin Yan and Xiang Xiaofang could pick a fresh fruit without going through the residents as most of the time they charged quite a high amount of money.

Elena did not have any problems with the amount of money and the temple too took some donations for letting them use the orchard. But she wanted to donate some money to the temple and this was a good process to just do it.

So, all three of them picked up quite a lot of fruits. As Elena had donated a very large sum of money in the temple, they were allowed to pick as much fruit as they wanted. Then they kept some of the fruits to eat and offered the remaining amount to the goddesses.

So when the last rays of sunlight disappeared and night was finally setting in, the head priest started the ritual and soon the large pile of offerings disappeared. After a few minutes a small amber suddenly appeared on the wood pile and soon that became a large burning fire in no time.

With that as the signal, the first ones to go close to the bonfire were newlyweds and young couples. Then that started to dance while the musicians present there started to play a ritualistic music. That sound had a very mystical vibe to it which felt somewhat holy and sacred. At the same time, it also felt romantic and calming.

When the first dance ended only then others also joined the young couples and the newlyweds in dancing. Little children also showed up and the atmosphere around the bonfire became lively. Alongside the mystical music it almost felt like this part of the world was cut off from the mortal world and had become the part of the divine.

Elena also participated and danced a little bit. Here many youngsters also tried to find partners from them and many asked Elena out who was in her Lin Yun getup. Surprisingly even though Lin Yan was still a minor, many young 12 to 13 year old girls invited him to dance. Elena found that to be very sweet and teased the young boy by calling him a little charmer. Lin Yan was quite a handsome boy so it was not a surprise that he would impress many ladies.

Xiang Xiaofang was also very popular, especially among the older ladies and he almost lost his mind when even a young man showed up and asked him for a dance.

Soon when the night was getting deeper, a lot of foods were brought out. Now it was finally time for the party. The dancing and music was still going on and in the middle of it everyone started to eat a bite or two. All the foods for the festival were prepared from the city council itself so they were all free of charge at least for the night.

The atmosphere of the night was really so amazing that Elena stayed up late. Only when almost everyone had returned back to their homes, she finally went back to the inn. She enjoyed the whole day immensely and was very fulfilled with her first experience of a festival in this nation. Then she also calmly went to the world of the dreams. She would definitely have a very good sleep tonight.
