The next day was the last day of the festival. On this day, all the sects of the city prepared many musical performances. The last day of the festival was well known for this very thing, it was known as the day of music.

Elena and her students spent the whole day mostly listening to the musicians playing various tunes and making preparations for their last phase of the journey. After discussing how they were going to continue their journey, all of them decided to go straight to the capital without stopping anywhere anymore.

Xiang Xiaofang and Lin Yan had learned most of the things that Elena wanted to teach them. Now what they needed to do was to utilise those teachings to grow stronger. They also had many strengthening equipment that Elena gifted them so Elena wanted to finish this little trip as soon as possible to give them the chance to open their wings as soon as possible.

Elena and the gang left the Wind Clover City the next morning after having their breakfast. Then they went straight for the capital of the Tang nation.

Elena chose the path which was the shortest among many paths that led to the capital, but it was also the least used one. The reason for that was a place called the Swamp of Obnoxious Purple.

This place called the Swamp of Obnoxious Purple was infamous as the most dangerous area in the Tang nation. Even grandmaster realm powerhouses were scared of this place. And their fears were not unfounded.

This swamp had not one, not two but a total of five S rank monsters and beasts. That was a scary number for any nation. The only thing that saved the Tang nation was the fact that all those monsters and beasts were either very territorial or could only live in the swamp area. So, they did not threaten the existence of the Tang nation.

Obviously no one dared to go through an area that was so incredibly dangerous but it was not a big deal for Elena's team. Actually if Xiang Xiaofang was alone, he would be extremely cautious while entering this region. Five S rank monsters and beasts were not something that he could take care of with full confidence. But he believed Elena to be a demigod, so he was very confident as this level of danger was nothing to even the weakest of demigods.

The very first trouble that Elena and her group faced in the swamp was not related to the beings living there but came from the atmosphere itself. This swamp was filled with a mild poisonous gas that did not directly deal too much damage to one's health but could become life threatening with a higher amount.

So Elena's group needed some kind of protection against them, especially Lin Yan. As he was not a very high level person, his resistance to various kinds of poison was not very high.

But Elena solved this problem easily by casting an antidote type spell on him. This spell allowed Lin Yan to completely get rid of the poison immediately when it entered his system.

As the three of them were leisurely walking in the swamp, many monsters attacked them regularly. As the gale wolves were not very well suited for running in a swamp, Elana and the gang decided to cross the swamp by walking on their feet.

As even the regular monsters living in the swamp were quite strong, Xiang Xiaofang was the one to take care of most of the monsters. They had been attacked by mostly three types of monsters which were the Guansou (a mud crocodile), the Sunisia (poisonous mud frog) and Gushi (a large worm). They all were quite troublesome in their natural habitat but Xiaofang was strong enough to handle them easily.

But soon, one of the overlords of this area showed up. It was a worm type monster with three heads and three tails and both the head part and the tail part had brain and mouth so it was hard to judge which side was the head and which side was the tail.

It was quite a trouble S rank monster. Even Xiang Xiaofang who was not very weak among the Saint realm martial artists, had quite a hard time fighting this monster. He fought it for three hours straight and was actually on the back foot for most of the battle.

Finally when two other overlords started to come their way after getting interested in their battle Elena had to intervene and she knocked the large size headed worm out. Then they quickly left that spot.

Once again, Xiang Xiaofang was amazed as to how strong Elena actually was. He was really having a very hard time fighting this worm, but Elena knocked it out in one hit like it was nothing.

The reason Elena did not kill this monster was because this worm was very important for the ecosystem of the swamp. Without its existence the swamp would become even more poisonous and more terrible place. So Elena just knocked this monster out and did not kill it.

Just when they were able to leave the swamp, again one of the five S rank overlords attacked them. This time it was a large beast that looked like a mix between a bear and a deer. It and the upper body of a bear but the lower body of a deer. It also had deer-like horns on its head. It was a weird looking beast but was incredibly powerful.

After fighting it for a few minutes, Xiang Xiaofang immediately realised that this beast was even stronger than the worm monster and he had absolutely no chance of beating it. But still with Elena around his chance of dying was zero so he decided to just give his all in fighting this mighty foe.

But after just 15 minutes or so, he was defeated. And it was a complete defeat. Xiaofang was not able to hurt that beast at all. But then again Elena took action, knocked this beast out too and left the swamp with Lin Yan and an unconscious Xiang Xiaofang.

After the swamp, the rest of their journey went well. But once Elena encountered a group of bandits and she immediately took a little detour to loot those poor bandits. It was very rare for bandits to appear near the capital of a large nation. So that must have support from someone who would be an influential person of the capital. For that reason it was not a good idea to mess with the bandits without strong support but who was Elena ? She was the strongest and had no such worries. So she immediately attacked the bandits hideout.

This was a fairly large bandit group led by a person called Fan Huayin. This individual was actually a loyal retainer of the current king's younger brother. That person was a crafty individual and for many of his plans he needed bandits like individuals. So for that reason he sent one of his most loyal and strongest retainers to create a bandit group that would work for himself.

This bandits group had helped him immensely for the last few years so he also did his best to stop any kind of danger from approaching his golden goose. But his luck ran out when this bandit group decided to target Elena's group.

Elena was an experienced bandit hunter. So it did not take much longer before all the bandits were hunted down and their treasury was opened. In this treasury, alongside the items looted by the bandits the king's brother also kept some of his items that were not safe inside the city. So the loot Elena was able to gather was even more valuable than she first expected. That just once again proved to Elena that bandit hunting was the best occupation ever.

Lin Yan and Xiang Xiaofang already knew about Elena's obsession with bandit hunting so that only wryly smiled at her action. Soon when Elena was done with clearing out the treasury, they left the bandit hideout. Elena did not find any of the bandits to be worthy of pardon and ended up killing all of them.

Soon after the bandit hunt was over they found themselves close to the royal capital. It looked majestic even from so far. From what Elena could see, it looked like the biggest city she had ever visited in this world. The capital of the Myrilia Kingdom and the capital of the Gaim Empire were big, but nowhere near as big as the Tang Dynasty Royal Capital.

According to the information that elena had collected the amount of people living in the Tang capital was over 15 million. That was an insane number but it was not very rare in the areas under Tiandi's influence. There were other cities in other nations that were even bigger. Elena was very excited about it.

After entering the capital, the very first thing that Elena did was to call a meeting. And the first thing she said in the meeting was -

"Yan'er, Xiaofang. It's been quite an enjoyable journey so far but now it's time for our paths to be separated."
