The person who suddenly appeared and finished the whole battle was a beautiful dark skinned female elf. She was very tall and her figure was toned. Her smooth and dazzling silver hair was tied in a ponytail. She had a military jacket draped over her shoulder and had a military hat on her head with an emblem of a flower shaped like a moon.

Her purple eyes which were shining like the most beautiful amethyst were filled with determination, coldness and also kindness. Her face had a stern, serious look. She was currently holding the fainted mysterious elf by his neck and was standing over the smashed remains of the centipede monster. Hearing Dalia's muttering she looked at her and was able to recognise her and said -

"Oh, if it isn't the genius alchemist, miss Dalia. I'm sorry for intruding upon your battle without any warning. I was just anxious to stop the culprit from running away. I hope I did not create any problems for miss Dalia."

"No, no. How can that be ? I'm very grateful for miss Guardian's help in this matter. But what is miss Guardian doing here. I did not hear about your arrival from the clan head Dayflower."

"Yes, clan head Dayflower would be getting the news just about now. Actually I was able to find some information that a group of evil people were doing something suspicious here. As time was very tight I personally came here as soon as possible to stop anything bad from happening. My subordinate will probably reach this city tomorrow afternoon. By that way, why was miss Dalia fighting this monstrosity ? And who is this esteemed person beside you ?"

Just as this dark elf lady asked this question, Elena replied to her -

"Hello, I'm Elena, an adventurer. And the story of why Dalia was fighting here is kinda long. So let's talk about it in a private place. I will also like to purify the monster remains as it was made of resentment miasma."

"Oh, yes. Please do."

Saying so the dark elf lady moved away and Elena used purification to clear all the miasma away. Then she, the dark elf lady and Dalia went to the inn room that Elena had booked to have some talk.

Before that though, they needed to restrain those five people who were responsible for hurting the forest. Just knocking them out was not good enough. So Elena took out some magic ropes to tie them all up.

Inside the inn room, only Dalia and Elena were currently sitting. The dark elf lady went out for a moment to contact her subordinates to inform them about the recent developments and to tell them to hurry up. So, as Elena and Dalia were alone for the time Elena asked Dalia about the identity of the dark elf lady.

"This person is the Guardian of our Ioikashi kingdom and also our supreme commander, Lady Eldriana Moonblossom. She is a S rank powerhouse and the only S ranker present in our kingdom. In our neighbouring nation of Faesounia Empire she is known as the "Walking Catastrophe" and many other nations also known her as "The Strongest" as she is currently the strongest S ranker present at least in this region. After obtaining her S rank and had never been defeated."

The way Dalia was excitedly telling Elena about Eldriana, it was evident that she was a big fan of hers. But after knowing about her it was plain to see why Dalia liked her so much. For any people living in the Ioikashi kingdom, Eldriana was definitely their pride and joy and the strongest presence saving their daily lives from all disasters.

Her reputation as the strongest did not come out of nowhere, nor was it a self proclaimed title. After witnessing her exploits in battles over and over again, the people themselves started to call her "The Strongest" and she was able to live up to her title with being undefeated for centuries.

As Dalia was a fangirl for Eldriana, she knew a lot of things about her. Ioikashi kingdom was able to maintain their large area only because of Eldriana's presence. Many surrounding nations have more than one S rankers living there. But Ioikashi kingdom only had a single S ranker. But still with Eldriana's incredible powers, she was able to easily fight against 10 S rankers with no problem. That was the reason why no other nations dared to plot anything against the Ioikashi kingdom.

The only person who had the capability to fight Eldriana at her same level was the "Blooming Purgatory" Archpriestess, Emilia Dawnfloret who did not belong to any particular nation. So, Eldriana alone was able to make the Ioikashi kingdom one of the strongest powers in this part of the continent.

Just as Dalia was gushing about Eldriana, the person herself came back. Then she introduced herself to Elena first.

"Hello, miss Elena. Sorry for my late introduction. I'm Eldriana Moonblossom, the supreme commander of this nation in charge of handling the military and the security. Nice to meet you. I'm currently at the S rank."

"Nice to meet you too, miss Eldriana. I'm Elena, a S rank adventurer who just recently came to your nation for a visit."

Hearing that Elena was also a S ranker, it looked like Eldriana finally understood something and nodded with a little smile on her face. Then she asked them to tell her about the situation in detail. Dalia told her about the forest hurting incident, how she was trying to find the culprits and then about the results of her investigations. After hearing about everything, Eldriana nodded her head with a serious expression on her face.

Then she told them about the things she knew. That mysterious person was probably a spy from the Faesounia Empire. The Faesounia Empire and the Ioikashi kingdom had been in odds for many years and the action of that person was most probably related to some kind of plan that the sages from the Faesounia Empire were making.

The sages were S rank powerhouse of the Faesounia Empire and there was a total of four sages there. Actually Dalia just told Elena but about 600 years ago, there were 5 sages in that country, but one of them was killed in a battle by Eldriana herself. For that reason, the Faesounia hated the Ioikashi kingdom very much. And the current emperor was also a warmongering and ambitious person, so they were always trying to inflict damage on the Ioikashi kingdom.

After their discussion was over, Elena invited Eldriana to stay with them. The room that Elena had booked was way bigger than something that a couple of people would need. Even a party of 6 adventurers could live in this comfortably. As Eldriana had no reason to refuse and she was also very interested in talking with a young alchemist prodigy and an unknown but extremely strong S rank adventurer, she decided to stay with Elena and Dalia.

After seeing Elena for the very first time, Eldriana had already instinctively guessed that this person was definitely stronger than her. Something like that had never happened before. She was also a little bit worried as if she turned out to be a bad person, then she would not be able to stop this person from destroying this city. But after talking about her she turned out to be a kind and pleasant person. Eldriana had never had the chance to meet anyone of her same standing without being in a public setting or as enemies, so she was enjoying the situation very much and let her guard down a bit. It was a very rare thing as after a traumatic experience her guard was always up, but today she was able to relax a bit which she found to be a pleasant experience.
