After the welcoming ritual for Eldriana was over, everyone was taken to the houses where they were going to be living for the next few days. Elena and Dalia were given houses at the very outskirts of the village where most of the other outsiders were staying and Eldriana was given a house right next to the village elder's house at the very centre.

Elena was fine with the house that she and Dalia were given but Eldriana had no intention of living away from Elena. So she was going to stay with Elena and Dalia. The village elder could not allow their saviour to live so far  away from the centre of the village so he decided to allow Elena and Dalia to also stay with her as that was the only solution he was able to think.

The main festival was going to start in a week's time and currently preparations were going on in full force. Both the villagers and the outsiders were getting prepared. For the villagers, the preparation was simple. They just needed to decorate their village and the hunters of the villages needed to map the general area where Gindarru trees could be found. As the forest was like their backyard, it was not a very difficult task.

But for the outsiders, it was a lot difficult. The merchants needed to find some local hunters who were willing to sell these fruits to them. Then they needed to negotiate the price and the amount of fruit they were willing to sell. Not only that but the merchants also needed to find who would be capable of getting his hands on a decent amount of fruits. As if their chosen hunter was unable to get anything then that would be a loss of the merchant.

As for the adventurers, they also had their own duties. Most of the adventurers who came here had two missions. One was the normal escort mission and the other mission was to search for Gindarru fruits. They would get a bonus if they were able to find a large number of fruits. But as the adventurers were not very familiar with the forest, it was very uncommon for them to get good results. The hunters of the village usually did a lot better than the adventurers as they already knew where Gindarru trees were.

So while the villagers were busy decorating the village, the adventurers were busy scouting the forest in search of those trees. Some sneaky ones even tried to get that information from the local hunters by threatening them, but that always ended with those adventurers getting kicked out of the village.

After getting a place to stay, Elena did not waste any time and immediately went out to walk around the village. Dalia and Eldriana followed behind her. Eldriana had attended this festival several times before, so she was not very excited but for both Elena and Dalia it was their first time here and they were quite excited.

After walking around the village a little bit Elena found that the culture of the villagers was quite a bit different than the culture she had seen with other elves. Specially these elves had a special way to train their body while creating many tattoos on their body. Eldriana explained that this power system was unique to the elves living here at least inside the Ioikashi kingdom. This was a method only special bloodline holders could use.

It was said that these elves came from a lineage of elves who once had a demigod as their ancestor. That was the reason their bloodline became special. Elena was quite interested in these techniques but she decided to take it slow and easy as she was going to stay in the village for quite some time.

After Elena saw that the villagers were busy with decorating the village, she decided that she would take a good look at everything when the decoration was in order. So, for the time being she, Dalia and Eldriana decided to leave the village and to go to the forest outside.

As soon as they entered the forest, one person became very excited. It was none other than Dalia who was astonished to see how many types of herbs could be found so close to the village. These herbs were not very rare herbs, but they could only be found deep inside a forest so she was very surprised to see them just after leaving the village. And that was why she was so excited.

To such an excited Dalia, Eldriana told her that even though they just left the village, they were actually quite deep inside the forest and those herbs growing here were completely normal. And only then Dalia remembered that the village was truly quite deep inside and she became embarrassed for getting over excited for no reason.

As that explored the forest more, Dalia started to find rarer and rarer herbs. She was showing why she was called a genius alchemist. Very soon she found a small unassuming plant and became very excited as this plant was none other than the star of the upcoming festival, the Gindarru plant. In just 2 hours, Dalia was able to find something that the other adventurers were unable to even after several days. Her knowledge as a herbalist was truly quite advanced.

As Dalia was busy searching for herbs, Eldriana and Elena were acting as her bodyguards. This forest did have quite a few monsters and in just 2 hours, Elena's group was attacked 6 times. But as these monsters were quite weak, Elena and Eldriana were able to deal with them quite easily.

After marking the place where she found this Gindarru tree on her map, Dalia continued her search. She wanted to find as many of these plants as possible. She also wanted to get her hands on the Gindarru fruits and the best way to get it was by founding one herself. She could always buy one but getting it with her own hands had a special feeling.

After searching the forest till it was nighttime, Dalia was able to find a total of 11 Gindarru trees, which was a massive success. From these trees she would definitely be able to gather her required amount of fruits but Dalia was still very excited and wanted to go to the forest to search for more the next day too. She was really having a lot of fun.

After returning to their house after night fell, Dalia started to do some experiments with the herbs she found today in the forest, while Elena started to train Eldriana. After she became Elena's student, Eldriana was getting daily training from Elena for at least a few hours. Elena did not really tell her to do anything specifically and just gave her new assignments and told her what mistakes she had been making and Eldriana had to find a solution by herself. This method of training was extremely effective for Eldriana as she already had an elementary idea about her own martial arts and she was getting closer and closer to realise it.

Actually creating a martial art was not hard. Many B or even C rankers were capable of doing so. What was hard was creating a strong martial art with a very high potential and that was exactly what Eldriana was trying to do. Her intention was to create a martial arts that was one hundred percent suited to her own body and it should also have the potential to reach higher and higher ranks continuously. She wanted to create a martial art with unlimited potential, which was truly extremely hard.

Elena smiled sweetly while watching over Dalia and Eldriana. One was working hard on her alchemy and another one was doing the same for martial arts. She was very happy to have such a hard working sister and student.

Just like that, Elena spent her first day in this remote village.
