After Dalia and Eldriana were done with their training and experiments, they took a little break and then went out again. They were here to enjoy and they were going to enjoy it to their fullest. This time Elena was trying to taste the cuisine of this village.

As it was almost a hidden village, she was expecting a lot of good dishes mainly of meat variety as this village's main food source was monster meat and not vegetable. They did eat fruits, but as most of the elves living here cultivated their bodies, meat was more popular.

But this village only had a single restaurant like place and that was also hurried set up by the villagers to accommodate the outsiders and the food it served was not the local cuisine but a cheap imitation of the food outsiders normally ate. Elena had no intention of eating anything here. What she wanted to taste were the real foods that the villagers normally ate.

But those foods were not served to the outsiders. That was because some of those foods were secret recipes for their body cultivation method and they had no intention of leaking them to the outside world. So normally Elena would not be able to get her hands on them.

But Elena had a solution to that problem and it was none other than her beloved disciple Eldriana. Eldriana was the savior of this village and the village was willing to do almost anything for her. And Elena had all the intention to use her student's influence to get her tasty food.

So, Elena asked Eldriana to ask the village elder for some local food. She also mentioned that the food did not need to be anything special or the secret recipe, just getting some regular dishes to try would be enough.

Eldriana went to the elders house which was just beside their house with Dalia and Elena. The elder was currently out for some business but his two wives were there. After learning that Eldriana and her friends were hungry and wanted to try their regular food, let alone unwilling, it looked like they could not wait for their hero Eldriana to try their food.

Very soon, Eldriana, Dalia and Elena were all served the local dishes just cooked by the village elder's wives. They went all out and even cooked some of the secret recipes. That served a total of five different dishes and just from a glance, Elena was able to judge that they were extremely tasty.

One was some kind of meat dish. The meat was prepared in such a way that it looked half cooked. But when Elena took a bite of the meat, it felt very tender and soft. The pieces of the meat were also cut in thin stripes and it was extremely tasty and Elena was able to feel that this dish had some effect on the body. So it probably was a secret recipe.

Next, Elena picked up a different dish. This looked like small chunks of boney meat were boiled together with various vegetables to create a meat stew. There was not much spices used for this dish, so it tasted a bit bland but the bones were all very soft and it was very interesting to eat all the soft bones.

The third dish was something Elena was not very fond of. Even though she was a foodie, Elena was still not comfortable to eat any and everything. One of the things that Elena hated eating was bugs, especially if the dish clearly identified itself as a dish made using bugs. So, the third dish, which was the roasted meat of some kind of large grasshopper, was Elena's least favourite so far.

But still, as not eating it all was bad manners and disrespectful, Elena still ended up eating one whole roasted grasshopper. Actually, the taste of this thing was quite alright, not too bad but not amazing either. But Elena would not eat this for a second time willingly.

After a somewhat disappointing third dish, Elena gave her attention to the fourth dish. It was the most colourful looking dish present in the table. It looked like a fruit tart and all the fruits were decorated in such a manner that it looked like a blooming flower with petals of different colours. It was truly extremely beautiful.

Elena first tasted a bright red coloured fruit. Immediately her face bloomed with a smile. That fruit itself was extremely sweet and the elves of this village had used some kind of syrup to enhance the sweetness even more. And it was only one of the several fruits that was in the tart.

After that Elena gladly started to taste all the fruits and soon she was devoured all the tart. It was definitely her favourite food item so far. At first, the wives of the village elder were eagerly anticipating Eldriana's opinion on the food. But now they were captivated by Elena who was enjoying their food and made it look like the tastiest thing in the world.

Even the other family members who were taking a peek secretly to take a look at their beloved saviour were captivated by Elena and the way she ate. When Elena took a bite at the meat and her eyes lit up, those elvin boys and girls also felt their mouth watering. Then when Elena frowned with her beautiful face, they felt extremely sad and immediately wanted to make Elena happy.

After Elena was done consuming the fruit tart, she finally gave her attention to the last dish on the table. The dish itself was not visible as it was enclosed inside a completely covered pot. So, with great anticipation, Elena took the lid off the of the pot and took a look inside.

Inside the pot, she found some kind of fluffy looking dumplings. They were dipped in a brown broth of some sort and had a very appealing healthy brown colour. They looked so tasty that Elena immediately wanted to devour them.

So she used the chopsticks she was provided to pick up one of the dumplings and put the whole thing inside her mouth. It was quite hot but for a high ranker like her it was no big deal. But still Elena lowered her heat resistance to the minimum degree in order to enjoy the nostalgic sensation of swallowing super hot food.

It was so hot without her heat resistance that a little bit of tears appeared in her eyes but still she chewed on the food and swallowed it. Then she smiled while enjoying the taste and the sensation of her tongue burning and kept eating it more and more. The fourth food item was still her favourite, but she enjoyed this dish quite a lot too. All in all she was glad that she made her dear student to arrange this feast for her.

After Elena emptied the whole table, she thanked the two ladies present in the room who were responsible for cooking such a delectable food. She then took out two pieces of bracelet which were also decorated with beautiful green and blue gemstones and gave it to them. They tried to reject it but Elena insisted that they should take it and forcefully gave it to them. She also explained that this bracelet had a divine blessing that would increase their family's luck and hearing that they were unable to reject the gift anymore and accepted it. Elena then gave all the other elves who were peeking at them some tasty sweet that she had causally created and then left the elder's house with Dalia and Eldriana to walk around the forest once again.

The fun and exciting harvest festival was just beginning for Elena.
