After Elena got to taste the local cuisine, she was invited by the other ladies of the village to taste their foods for all her meals. The way Elena ate always made the food to look really tasty and that was the best silent complement a person could get.
Other than eating tasty food everyday, Elena was spending most of her time by accompanying Dalia in her forest expedition or by giving Eldriana pointers in only her training but also in the way how she should level up.
Elena had told Eldriana about her true identity and her true power level. This was a piece of information that very few had the fortune to know. Other than the gods, Eldriana was the only mortal who knew about it.
This was something truly unbelievable for Eldriana. For her reaching level 400 was the target and level 700 plus was the realm of the gods. She had no idea that a number like 6000 could represent the level. And her teacher was not even the strongest person in the universe and according to her there were many many beings way stronger than her.
This was the first time Eldriana truly understood how small she actually was. In this vast universe, she was not even a speck of dust. She was very very insignificant. But her teacher had made this insignificant her a student. So Eldriana was willing to do any and everything in her powers to grow stronger.
Elena had also taken Eldriana to her mini world. This thing was called mini but actually it was larger than many a high level worlds in size. So calling it mini was just a joke at this point. This mini world was also the perfect proof which made Eldriana to believe and understand the true powers of a powerhouse like Elena.
She had also managed to find a rival in that mini world. It was none other than Elena summon, the cute smile, Echidna, who was growing steadily under Elena's love and careful consideration. Eldriana and spared with Echidna and had lost spectacularly. It was such an overwhelming defeat that she lost her soul for a moment.
But after that setback she revived with an even stronger determination and trained very hard in a special environment where time was flowing slowly. And after putting in thousands of hours of hard work, she was finally able to create a basic form of her martial arts. But this form was truly too basic and she needed some real world experience to make it a truly complete technique.
When she told Elena this, Elena was very happy and decided to celebrate this occasion. She also told Eldriana to take a break from training and to enjoy the harvest festival that was going to start the very next day. Elena already had a plan for Eldriana's next phase of training which would start after the end of this harvest festival.
...
On the day when the harvest festival was about to begin, everyone was boiling excitement. The hunters of the village and the adventurers who came from outside the forest were all extremely excited for it to begin.
In the last few days, many more outsiders had come to their village. So much so that the village was unable to provide any more places for them to live. Elena wanted everyone to enjoy this festival and without a place to rest, it would be impossible for the adventurers and the merchants to enjoy it.
So she used a magic spell to create small houses made of wood and also cast a decent barrier which would keep the monsters and the animals of the forest away. With this new temporary residence, everyone would be able to enjoy the festival which was Elena's desired outcome.
The festival was going to start with a competition where the hunters and the adventurers would try to collect as many Gindarru fruits as possible. The person who would be able to collect the highest number of Gindarru fruits would get a special prize. And this festival's special prize was a personal training session with Eldriana Moonblossom, the only S ranker of this nation and also the S ranker with the title of "The Strongest". This was definitely the best and most desired prize and every participant was extremely eager to get this.
The Gindarru fruit had a very specific time of appearance and it would stay healthy and ready for picking for only 6 hours. And if one could not get this fruit within those 6 hours then it would disappear once again for a hundred more years. A fruit which had already been picked normally stayed healthy for quite a long time.
After that main event, the merchants would try to negotiate with the individuals to get the chance to buy these valuable fruits for a low price. While that was happening, the others, who were not the merchants, would be busy enjoying the true festival.
The village had changed its looks for three days. All the villagers had worked very hard together to make it possible. All the houses of the village were decorated and most part of the village was covered in weird painting, which was actually a secret magic formation given to the villagers by their ancestors. This formation was supposed to give them the blessing of the ancestors.
...
The competition started with all the participants running toward the forest at full speed. Eldriana and Elena were seeing this competition while relaxing on the main guest seats. But Dalia was not with them as she was participating in the competition.
For the last few days, Dalia was doing forest expeditions on a daily basis and she had managed to find quite a few Gindarru trees. So, Elena had given her a challenge. If she could get the first position in this competition with a lead of more than 30 fruits, then Elena would be giving her personal advice to reach the S ranks. This was an insanely high value reward and Dalia was planning to go all out for this.
...
From the very beginning of the competition, Dalia used all her abilities as an A rank powerhouse. She even used her fire magic to boost her speed to get her hands on the fruits faster than anyone else.
But the process of collecting the fruit was not as simple as just plucking it. One needed to follow a simple but slightly time consuming process to get the fruit, which gave other competitors a way to get ahead of Dalia.
Even then, Dalia was without a doubt the best candidate to win the whole competition but her target was something else. She needed to have more than 30 fruits than the person in the second position to really win the game. For that Dalia got rid of all the distracting thoughts and focused only on getting as many fruits as possible without trying to learn how the others were doing.
...
Very soon, six hours were over and the competition ended. This year the harvest of the fruit was extremely great and everyone was happy. The hunters and adventurers were happy as they were able to get their hands on a decent number of fruits and the merchants were also happy as with so many fruits they might be able to get more fruits with less amount of money.
After everyone deposited their spacial ring which they all were given for this competition to get their score calculated, all of them were eagerly waiting for the final result. Dalia also came back to Elena and Eldriana and was doing the same.
To such Dalia who was currently very nervous and was fidgeting nervously, Elena patted her head to calm her nerves down. Then soon the results were declared. As expected Dalia's name was at the very top and she was the overall winner of the competition. But the main thing she was nervous about was the score.
The person who was in the second position was a hunter from the village who had managed to get 36 fruits. And Dalia needed 66 of them to win. Dalia knew that her score was 71 and she jumped in joy. She had managed to get the perfect victory. Elena and Eldriana both congratulated her.
With that the atmosphere of the festival became even more lively.
