The next day, three of them again went to the ancient ruins. This time both Eldriana and Dalia participated in the fight from the very beginning. So, they were able to quickly advance through the dungeon and reached the area where rock and sand golems started to appear.

Dalia took on the rock golems and Eldriana faced off against the sand one. The sand golem was quite tall at about 8 meters but it was not bulky and was well crafted. It looked like a tall mascular male with no facial features. It was also very good at fighting in close quarters bare handed combat, so it was a good opponent against Eldriana. Not that but this sand golem was resistant to physical attacks and could also regenerate very quickly. So Eldriana would have a hard time defeating it.

This was also because in this world she was unable to use her physic to harness natural energy. That ability of hers was only useful inside RASHTROYNI. She was still able to have her strong physic and could also regenerate, but the regeneration speed had become quite slower and the toughness of her body was also several degrees lower than usual.

So Eldriana was weaker than her normal self. For that reason, depending on the level of the sand golem, she might even find an opponent she would not be able to defeat. Her life might also be in danger. But that was exactly what Eldriana needed for her training.

This golem was called an armoured rock golem and Dalia was unable to defeat it and her battle with it ended in a draw. So she had a new short term target which was to defeat this armoured rock golem.

As for Eldriana she had three satisfying fights with the sand golems before she faced a golem several levels higher than her and was unable to defeat it after a long time. She was dealing more damage to the golem but the regeneration speed of the golem was faster than Eldriana. On the other hand, the sand golem was doing less damage than Eldriana but Eldriana's regeneration speed was lower so currently both of them were at a stalemate.

After fighting for 5 hours straight, Eldriana had to end the fight as it was already time for them to go back to the village. So even though she was unsatisfied, Eldriana had to go back. Unlike the elves of RASHTROYNI, the elves of DAMIOS did not stay awake for several days in a row. Like normal humans they ended their days every night. So they all also needed to follow this common sense of the world.

Elena also tried out some of her runes on all types of golems of the ruins, so overall it was a successful day. Just like that it became a regular occurrence for them to go to the ruins everyday to fight the golems and then to sell the essence stone they got to the Explorer Office. It was actually a common routine for the explorer living in this city.

After about three weeks of non stop fighting, they got good news from the explorer office. For three weeks straight, they had collected high quality essence stones everyday and had submitted them to the office. With that they all had proven themselves to be deserving of a rank promotion.

Dalia was promoted to be a rank 2 and both Elena and Eldriana were directly promoted to rank 3. Now that one of their objectives was fulfilled, their next target was to clear the ruins and then go to different places of this kingdom. Last week Dalia managed to defeat the armoured rock golem and a week before that Eldriana managed to defeat the high leveled sand golem she had trouble defeat at the beginning.

It was mostly because after fighting so many sand golems, she had managed to figure out the attack pattern of the golems and her martial arts had also improved by a notch. So now she could defeat most of the sand golems without much trouble. As Elena was going to take care of the boss Wood Golem, they were now fully prepared to clear these ruins.

After clearing a ruin, they all would get an item called the Ruin Heart as their proof of clearance. This item was very valuable and would give the girls a good amount of funds which they would need to settle in the new city. And it would also give them a prestige boost which would be useful for them in the long run.

So the next day, Elena, Eldriana and Dalia went to the ruins with the intention of clearing it. Normally it was not possible for a level 310 person to defeat the boss whose power level was above 400. But Runic Caster was a special job which was capable of performing many miracles with enough time and preparation, so Elena would be able to publicize her deed without looking suspicious. That was the reason why she chose to be a Runic Caster.

After Entering the ruins Dalia and Eldriana started doing their job, which was to defeat all the other golems except wood one. On the other hand Elena started to set up a very complicated rune structure. She did not plan to bulldoze the wood golem using her superior level, instead she planned to use her current level to set up a grand runic array to defeat the wood golem. It was a time consuming and complicated process and Eldriana and Dalia needed to protect Elena for the time being.

The battle was going on just as they had planned. After three hours Elena was done with the grand array. Now she just needed someone to lure the wood golem here to the array to defeat it. Elena had planned to do the job herself, but Eldriana volunteered to do it as she wanted to exchange blows with this wood golem which would be as strong as a demigod from their world.

The only reason Eldriana had the confidence to do it was because she got a Runic Boost from Elena  which would definitely allow her to endure one hit from this golem and the rest would depend on Eldriana's own efforts. If she died while doing it then her capabilities were just that much and she was not worthy of being Elena's inheritor.

So, Eldriana entered the central part of the ruins and it immediately attracted the wood golems attention. Seeing the intruder, it quickly moved to eliminate it. After judging that the intruder's power level was below its own, it did not make any special move and threw out a simple punch.

Eldriana tightened all her muscles and braced herself to receive the punch. She also punched out and jumped back at the same time to mitigate as much force as possible. But still when this very simple punch hit her, her HP plummeted like an avalanche and she was pushed back at a very high speed and went out of the central area of the ruins.

That was exactly Eldriana's plan. She had positioned herself in such a way that after getting hit she would fly out of the central area. Seeing that the intruder was still not dead, the wood golem followed behind her to finish her off. After that punch Eldriana vomited blood and was on the verge of death. But still she stood up with all her willpower and started to run toward the array after using a rune given by Elena to boost herself. The wooden golem followed behind her.

After crossing the array, Eldriana immediately fainted, the strain on her body was too much and the wood golem also entered the array to finish her off.

Immediately, Elena activated the array and it lit up. It was a grand attack array created with ten thousand runes stacked together and it was also given the fire attribute which was the wood golem's weakness. So it had a very high chance of killing it outright.

After Elena activated the array, the wood golem got engulfed in flames and when the flame died down only a few half burned lumber was left. Elena and her team had managed to defeat the boss of this ruin.
