The security system of the Sang Kendrica city was not bad and as soon as the beasts appeared around it, the higher ups of the city were notified of the danger. Immediately both soldiers and heroes were dispatched on the front lines to fight against them. Soldiers of the city were not going to fight the beasts head on and instead they were going to assist the heroes from the walls with the help of modern weapons.

Beasts were obviously more physically fit than the humans and it was almost impossible for a human to reach the same level as a beast in this aspect. The population of beasts were also significantly higher than the humans. So, even without the heroes, the normal beasts themselves were very much capable of destroying the whole humanity if they attacked together.

So what saved humanity from that outcome was the modern weapons. For some reason these weapons had no effect on individuals who had awakened Arshante, but in regular people they were super effective. A group of beasts were capable of defeating a low level hero, but if they were attacked by the modern weapons, when the hero would be unharmed but all the regular unawakened beasts would get badly hurt.

So humanity was able to stop the numbers advantage of beasts by using those modern weapons. That was also the reason why the final outcome of the battle completely depended on the awakened individuals.

If the heroes got the victory then the regular beasts would be no match for the modern weapons and would retreat. But if the Beast Kings won, the modern weapons would be useless against them and thus the humans had to retreat.

The first one to attack was the Tyrant Warrior Bull king. He was a battle maniac and very soon he was unable to hold himself back and attacked the city from the eastern side.

If the strength of the monster kings was to be represented by levels, then their power level would be between level 120 and level 150. And this Tyrant Warrior Bull king had the power level of about level 140ish so it was a top class existence among the beast kings.

So the person who came to stop his mad charge was the strongest person present in this city, a man named San Wuming. He had been fighting for the humanity in secret for a long time but was able to come into the light as he was a part of Achalanata. But now he was able to fight for the city in the open.

He had a symbol with a white and a black side. This symbol represented his powers that allowed him to transform his body into a special type of metal. Not only that but he was able to enjoy the positive factors of that metal like the hardness and weight but at the same time he was also able to disregard the negative aspects like the stiffness and the solid form. That made him to be an extremely dangerous person. His power level would also be around level 140.

The next one to attack was not a beast but a human. This person was known as the strongest hero of Sang Kendrica city before San Wuming appeared in public. Even though he was with the Hero Association, he was not a bad person. He was a sword fanatic and swords were the only thing he was interested in. His name was Hiroshi Kagehara.

Both he and the Black Wind Wolf king had Arshante related to wind and had also fought against this great beast before for many times. So they had a rivalry between them. That was the reason he immediately attacked when he heard that Black Wind Wolf king was near the city.

Another hero of the Hero Association was taking on the Winged Purple Python king in the southern side. Her name was Alexa and she was transferred here from the headquarters of the Hero Association to keep the Achalanata in check. She was just slightly weaker than Hiroshi and was more than capable enough to keep up with one of the beast kings. Her powers were related to lightning which was proving to be quite useful against the winged serpent who was able to fly.

But that left the Three-headed Emotional Toad king alone. And there was no other hero of the same level in the city. The beasts knew about this and that was the reason why they sent exactly four beast kings here. But Achalanata had a secret weapon here for exactly this kind of situation. There were two twins whose power levels alone were only at about level 100 but they were able to co-operate very well and could combine their powers to erupt with a higher level of strength. This allowed them to fight even stronger opponents if they teamed up together. These two twins were responsible for stopping the Three-headed Emotional Toad king.

The male twin was capable of using a red aura that had destructive properties and the female twin was capable of using a blue aura that was very versatile. So when they mixed their powers together they were capable of producing a purple aura that was very destructive and very versatile at the same time.

While humans and beasts were struggling against each other in a deadly battle, Elena was watching over everything from the sky. It was evident from her behaviour that she was quite fond of this world specially because it reminded her of her home world of EARTH. So it was almost certain that she would help it.

But to do that she needed to understand that world on a deeper level. And after getting some understanding she was sure that humans and beasts needed to work together if they wanted to prevent the complete destruction of this world.

But from the looks of things, this looked impossible. Both of the races hated each other quite a lot after their long conflict that lasted for almost an eternity. Currently both of the races show each other as their archenemy and were hellbent in wiping each other out. In this situation the thought of them cooperating together was like a fantasy.

So Elena needed to do something to end this era long conflict between the races. It was not going to be easy but she was making a few plans to achieve this goal. Humans and Beasts had completely different cultures, so first she was planning to do a little bit of cultural exchanges. To achieve that she created two beast sovereigns who would be responsible for slowly introducing some of the useful human cultures to the beasts.

So Elena watched over the battle while making sure that both sides were fine and had not received any significant damage. She did not want to lessen the power of any race in this dire situation.
