The next day Elena woke up in a happy mood. The food of this inn also turned out to be really good just as she heard. That was a very happy thing for Elena as she would be able to enjoy this food everyday as long as she stayed in this city. When Elena had come to the desert area, the last thing that came to her mind was food. She had never expected to find good food here as the desert was not really a place one would think of when thinking about a location with good food. But she was extremely happy to get a pleasant surprise.

It turned out that this oasis was a bit special and the crops and vegetables cultivated with the water of this oasis always turned out to be extremely tasty. That was the reason the food found in this city was exceptionally good. This city actually attracted people from other cities with its tasty food. So Elena should not expect such a high quality in food in any other desert cities.

Today Elena was going to visit the adventurer guild of this city. The adventurer guild was such a big organisation that there was almost no part of the world where they were not in. So almost all of the desert cities had an active adventurer guild. The adventurer guild was also a very important organisation for these cities. As the danger of the desert was higher than most other areas, everyone needed adventurers if they wanted to go out.

For these reasons Elena was quite interested in meeting the dwarvian adventurers and also to see what kinds of requests were available here. So, to fulfill her curiosity after having a delicious breakfast, Elena immediately went toward the adventurer guild.

After entering the adventurer guild, Elena was immediately hit with a strong smell of alcohol. It was quite early in the morning but many dwarvian adventurers were already drinking like that was the only reason for their existence. There were also several adventurers who were passed out drunk from excessive drinking. This place looked more like a rowdy tavern instead of an adventurer guild.

Elena dodged all the passed out men and women and went toward the board where the requests were. Even though it was her first time in this guild no one said anything to her because of the way she was dressed.

Currently was wearing a metal plate mail covering her body and she also had metal gauntlets and greaves. On her back there was a large war axe bigger than her body. So loli Elena was currently fully armoured and anyone seeing her would be able to judge her to be a powerful adventurer. That was the reason why no one stopped or bothered her when she went toward the request board as everyone judged her to be capable enough.

So Elena was able to check the requests without anyone disturbing her. The requests here were not very varied as most of the requests were either about escorting someone or about monster extermination. There was a big difference from any other request board that Elena had seen and that was the fact that this board had no herb collecting request.

The request for collecting various kinds of herbs was the most seen request of most of the guilds but obviously as this was a guild located in the middle of a desert, that kind of request would not be found here. Elena had also expected it but then she became surprised as there was a request for collecting an herb called "Melano".

Elena was surprised to see this request as this herb was not found in a desert area and only could be found inside a forest. It was not a particularly rare herb, but for a desert this was a herb that was almost impossible to be found.

Elena was interested in this request so she took it to the receptionist. There she asked about the client and why this type of request was approved. The receptionist asked for Elena's guild card as this request was given the rank of C because of the rarity of this herb.

Even though Elena had changed her form, she was still a S rank adventurer. So there was no problem with Elena using her regular card just as she had done when she was an elf. So she handed her card to the receptionist and after seeing her card, she screamed "Kyaa" in surprise. Elena had already expected a reaction like this but she was still impressed that this receptionist did not scream her rank out loud as she looked young, inexperienced and naive.

Elena signalled her to keep her rank a secret by putting her finger on her lips and the receptionist nodded her head eagerly. Then Elena asked her once again about the request and the young receptionist started to explain it to her about it with a worshiping expression on her face. This request was given to the guild by a wealthy merchant of this city. He had a large general store and he was also quite influential in this city. One of his sons had recently fallen ill and the medicine needed to cure him needed several herbs that could not be found in this area.

Still he managed to gather most of the materials with his connections and money but still he was unable to find Melano anywhere. So he started to search for it using various different means and the adventurer guild was one of those means. He was offering quite a big sum of money and it was possible that an adventurer coming here from a different region might have this herb as it was not very rare in most of the places. That was the reason why the adventurer guild approved of this request as there was no harm in doing so.

Hearing all that Elena decided to accept this request and she told the receptionist that she had this herb her spatial storage. Hearing that the receptionist was very happy and immediately accepted the herb from Elena. That was how she was able to complete a high level request without even stepping out of the guild. Next Elena accepted a monster extermination job and went out of the city.
