Elena left the city after showing the guards the request form. They gave her a tag made using a stone and showing this tag would allow one to not pay a fee while entering the city again. Thanking the guards, she left the city.

The monster Elena was going to exterminate was Armoured Sand Scorpion. These were C rank monsters who were also the biggest threat to the people living in this city. A single Armoured Sand Scorpion was only as strong as a normal C rank monster. This city had several C rakers and they should be able to protect the city without much trouble.

But armoured scorpions liked to stay in large groups. And as a large group, they could very well be as strong as a weaker B rank monster, which was a great threat to the city. For that reason, adventurers living in the city regularly exterminated these monsters to make sure that their number did not increase too much.

Elena had already asked the guild receptionist about the area close to the city where she would be able to find these monsters so Elena immediately went there. He was extremely happy with this development and rewarded the alchemist with quite a high amount of money. He was also extremely grateful to the adventurer who supplied the last remaining ingredient and wanted to thank that person too.

Elena had requested the guild to not mention her rank to other people but any other regular information was fine for the guild to reveal. If Elena blocked all the information about herself, that would be equivalent to telling the whole world that she was an extremely influential person. So she just asked the guild to not reveal her rank, any other information was fine to be revealed.

So, the guild told Cabazit that Elena was an adventurer who just recently came to this city from outside and she also had a storage item. That was the reason why she had the material. At first they were scared that he would be able to find a cure but were relaxed again when he was unable to find the last ingredient. But then suddenly an outsider completely ruined their plan. That was the reason why the first and second son were extremely angry and wanted to teach her a lesson.

According to their understanding, Elena was just a lucky adventurer and she was not very strong. So they used their father's money to send a few thugs to beat up Elena and they were planning to see that scene as a show to vent their anger for spoiling their plans.

Elena was just done with the extermination of the scorpions. The nest had really grown in just two months of delay and in one of two more months, the city would have faced a lot of trouble.

For that reason, when she was done with the extermination, it was already night. The hot weather of the day was nowhere to be seen and the night was cold and chilli. She needed to spend quite some time to kill all those scorpion monsters. But at least her proficiency in the axe technique increased but she was still not very fond of it. But as her student Lin Yan was an axe user, she did not hate it.

As Elena was going toward the adventurer guild, she noticed some people keeping an eye on her and she also sensed hostility toward her. Elena was surprised as it had only been one day since she came to this city and had not done anything that could be reason for someone to become an enemy of hers. So she used her abilities to find out the reason why these people were targeting her.

After she learned about the reason, she let out a little sigh and immediately captured all the people targeting her. Trouble had found its way to her without her doing anything significant. So Elena was planning to bury this problem immediately as she was planning to live in this city for quite some time.
