After Elena told them about how the disaster monster was actually like a summoned monster and was teleported here using a summoning formation, everyone was extremely surprised. Then Caldiora who was a talented mage asked a question. According to her knowledge, this type of formation could only be created by an A ranker. Then why would that person need to use such petty tricks. It's not like their three cities were able to defend against the power of an A ranker.

Elena told her that she was also not sure why but she did have some speculation. Then she said that soon the reason would become clear when the person she had caught would start talking. Her interrogation process was definitely effective but it needed some more time to fully take effect. So after this little discussion they all returned back to their own cities and Elena decided to stay here in the secret base. She would contact them again when this man would be ready to talk.

Hadima was a dwarf who had been working for his master for all his life. He was born as a servant to serve his master and from his early childhood he was taught how he should always be loyal to him and only him. So the loyalty he had for his master was his everything. It was the sole belief on which his whole life was based on.

Hadima was not a very powerful person. In terms of strength he was not even as strong as a C rank. But if there was one thing he was extremely confident in then that was the fact that he would never betray his master at any cost. No matter how much he was tortured or what great amount of treasures he might be given.

But his belief came crumbling down when a girl suddenly showed him a glass of drinkable water that was not mixed with an excessive amount of salt. Even before a part of his mind tried to resist, he had already started to beg for the glass of water and was ready to betray his master. He betrayed his master not for gold or gem but for a single glass of water. How ironic.

But he was helpless. Even if his heart was unwilling, his mind and body was ready to give in. No one who had not experienced the torture he just gone through would not be able to comprehend how insane it was. He did not feel any pain and his body was perfectly fine. But his heart was completely broken.

His eyes were tied and he was continuously going from being conspicuous to unconscious and vice versa. So his sense of time was completely gone. Not only that but due to the high heat he was continuously sweating and losing a lot of water from his body.

The only way to replenish the water was by elongating his tongue to take the drops of water that were falling just before his face. He was also tied up so the only thing he was able to move was his tongue.

But that was the end of misfortune. The water drops which were his only source of hydration were salty and had something mixed in it that was making his more thirstier the more he drank the water. It was like a vicious cycle where his thrust was continuously increasing even though he was drinking water continuously. This was enough to break his mind and heart.

And that was the reason why he easily gave in when Elena showed him a glass full of water he would be able to drink to quench his thirst. His loyalty was forgotten. The only thing that was currently in his mind was to get some proper water to drink.

After giving the man some water and settling him down Elena informed the four dwarves that their captive was ready to talk. Hearing that all four of them postponed their current work and came to the secret base to hear what this man had to say.

After all four of them gathered the man finally started talking. It turned out that this man was working for one of the high ranking people who was a close friend of the governor of the large city called Carinossa which had once tried to take over the three cities.

All the A rakers were unwilling to bully a weaker city to waste their time and to lose their reputation. But that did not mean that there was nothing to gain from having a relationship with an A ranker.

This man had an A ranker as his client. That A rank powerhouse was a summoner and from him he was able to get this formation sheet by paying a lot of money. This formation sheet was capable of using the concept of summoning to teleport one chosen monster from one place to another.

This man used his connection to buy a peak B rank monster and the governor also helped him out after learning about his plan and finding that plan to be a very good one. That monster obviously was the Disaster that the three cities were facing for the past 50 years.

Obviously they had no one who would be able to tame this powerful monster so they just locked it inside a powerful prison and used that summoning formation to send it close to three cities to wreck havoc. The key needed a lot of energy to teleport a peak B rank monster and that was the reason why there was a gap between the time when this monster attacked.

This time, due to food luck this man's master was able to get his hands on a few items that were able to replenish the key faster. And that was the reason why this monster had attacked the city earlier than expected. After listening to the whole story, everything was clear to the listeners.

That monster had already been sent to the prison and the man was just making the last preparations before leaving when he was caught by Elena. This was a very effective and long term plan that was slowly but surely taking the three cities toward its early grave.

After listening to the whole plan, all the city leaders were indignant as this plan was a brute force method which was present only because the city of Carinossa had a stronger foundation and the mastermind behind it had a lot of money.

Even after knowing the whole scheme there was nothing they could do to stop it. That was because these three cities were way too weak in front of a powerful large city like Carinossa. So all the leaders were unable to come up with any plans to resist this scheme even after thinking long and hard. That was the powerlessness of the weak.

Seeing them in such a tense mood, Elena clapped her hand to gather their attention. Then she said -

"I have a way to turn this around. Would you like to listen to my plan ?"

Now what type of plan was Elena scheming ?
