So it was decided that a total of 21 people would be going to the nearby city to do some trading. Alongside Elena and the members of the failed team another extra person would also be going who was somewhat knowledgeable about trading and negotiations. This was a weak point for the villagers of this village, so there were some villagers who intentionally studied these subjects.

This team of people who would be going to the city was super powerful. First, there was Elena, a S ranker. Then there were two A rank team leaders, Kaela and Crena. Everyone else was also B rank powerhouses. The city they would be visiting did have one A ranker as its protector but only these few members would be able to easily destroy the city if they wanted without any problem even without Elena.

So these people left the village early in the dawn. They were traveling using a C rank monster called the Bakaras. These were lizard-like creatures who were able to run quite fast on the desert sand. The villagers had tried to domesticate the novetons as they were stronger and faster than Bakaras. But those novetons were too stubborn to ever submit to them and that was the reason why their plan was not successful.

So as everyone was mounting the lizard monsters, two ladies came to Elena to have a chat with her before leaving. They were Kaela and Crena. Technically Crena was the leader for this operation but she was completely willing to obey Elena's orders if they found themselves in a serious situation.

Crena was a desert elf with the same dark skin as everyone and wearing the same bikini type dress as everyone which was barely covering anything. She had a large great sword on her back which was her main weapon. Elena had sparred with her for quite a few times and according to her, Crena's skills with the great sword was not good at all.

According to Elena's observation, it did not matter if she was given a sword, an axe, a hammer or just a block of metal. Crena's fighting power would remain the same. The only reason she was using a great sword was because that the heaviest weapon she picked up when she was still training and got attached to a great sword after that and never bothered to change it.

Soon everyone got ready to depart and Elena also mounted the lizard that was going to carry her. One lizard was capable of carrying three people and Elena was joined by Kaela and Crena. There were a total of 8 of these lizard monsters joining them in the journey. Seven of them were here to transport the people and one of them was going to carry the luggage.

Actually normally a lot more lizards joined them to carry the luggage, but this time as Elena was carrying most of the luggage for them, they only put bare minimum on a lizard as a form of security.

Today Elena was wearing quite a revealing dress. At first she wanted to wear the most non revealing dress for this journey but then she noticed that in the group of women where everyone was wearing very little clothing she was sticking out like a sour thumb. So after thinking about it for quite some time, she decided to wear a dress that was a little bit more revealing than her regular ones but nothing too serious or shameless.

What the girls were planning to do in the city was mostly trading. They were not only going to buy several things that were not available in their village, they were also planning to sell some products that were their village's speciality.

As it was mentioned before, they were all expert farmers of the desert and the things they produced had very high demand in the market. As quite a few villagers had recently made their harvest, the village leader wanted to sell some of the extra to the city in order to make some extra money.

If there was a sudden need for anything in the village, money would be the best option to use to get that from the nearby cities or villages. That was the reason why Melline always made sure to have some money in hand even though the villagers did not use any currency in their daily lives.

That was the reason why these crops were getting sold. Some of the hunting teams had come across a few C rank monsters and had swiftly killed them. As their meat was useless to the villagers, those monster corpses would also be sold. Even though these C rank monsters were nothing to the villagers, in any normal cities those are valuable items costing thousands of R.

As for the items they needed to buy were mostly common items like salt, pepper and some herbs. They were also going to buy a few types of potions and medicine for emergencies. It was very rare for a villager to be sick but still having extra preparation was never a bad thing. As they needed those things for B rank powerhouses those were quite expensive.

The city was Potenua was a very welcoming city. Even though the leader of this city was an elf, that person was not very picky about who was allowed to enter the city. So even though the majority of the people living in the city were elves, there were quite a few people from other races like the dwarves, the ogres or the Zahhals.

This was a bustling city so the guard outpost always had to be on guard in order to stop anyone from committing any crime. One regular day, two of the guards were guarding the front gate of the city. They were looking toward the endless expanse of the sandy desert and were feeling bored.

Then suddenly one of the guards noticed that a lot of sand was flying around at the distance. It was not a regular occurrence and so he used a cheap magic item which was able to allow him to see far. He wanted to know the reason behind that unusual occurrence at the distance.

But as soon as he took a look at what was happening there, his face immediately became pale and his long ears straightened up in tension. He then immediately handed his magic item to his partner and ran back inside the city to inform his superiors about who was approaching the city.

His partner was definitely supyrised by his action and curiously he also used the magic item to take a look at the distance. He had also noticed the unusual sandstorm at the distance and he wanted to find why his friend suddenly lost his calm.

After seeing the reason, he reaction was the same as the previous dark elf. No his reaction was even worse. He vividly remembered the terror of getting beaten up to the inch of his death when his foolish young self made a fatal mistake.

As he trembled in fear, Elena's group was nearing the city which was called Potenua.
