The remaining eight girls looked at Kaela with sadness in their eyes as she went toward the group of monsters to buy time for them. But they knew why she had done it and as to not waste their leader's efforts, all the girls turned toward the village and got ready to run.

But then suddenly Elena stopped them. Then she cast a barrier on the girls and told them that they did not need to run. seeing rgR the girls were still confused she told them -

"Don't worry I won't allow Kaela to die and I'm going to protect all of you too. When I said that I will just be observing, I did not mean that I will not be helping you all in danger. I said that because if I really helped then the hunting would become too easy and you all would be able to grow anymore. As long as I'm here no one is going to die, so rest assured and watch how brave your leader actually is."

Hearing Elena saying that, all the girls started to watch Kaela fighting. They were looking at her with all their attention to learn from her and also to witness her glory.

Her taking her attention away from the battle was a fatal mistake that the A rank monsters did not overlook. One of them used the momentary gap she had created and rammed her with its horns.

Her skin was obviously not strong enough to resist the sharp pointed horns and she was pierced. At the last moment she did try to jump backwards to lessen the damage but still the damage was fatal.
