The sixth round was a bit special. This kind of round was very rare in the long history of the magic tournament. In this round, the S rank powerhouses would cast some of their powerful S rank spells with a lower output and the other mages needed to keep up with them to advance to the next and the final round.

This test was basically here to judge if the remaining participants were worthy or sharing stage with the S rankers in the final round. For that reason anyone who was not the absolute best would be eliminated in this round.

It might sound that this round was giving the S rankers an advantage but that was not the case. Even a S ranker could be eliminated here if their spells were surpassed by the others. All in all, only 5 people were going to make it to the final round.

The person who started this competition was the principal, Theorem. He went to the middle of the stage and got ready to cast his magic. He was famous for his exceptionally powerful water and ice magic and his magic was most versatile among the three S rankers.

As soon as he cast his spell, a large amount of water suddenly appeared in the arena. But all that water was perfectly under his control and he shaped them to become a large ball. Then that large ball of water flew up and was suspended mid air other Theorem's head.

He continued casting the spells and the same thing happened again and again. When he stopped, there were seven large water balls hanging above his head. This was actually just the beginning of his spell. Normally he was capable of casting the complete spell almost immediately but here he was taking his time and was allowing everyone to watch properly so that they might be able to learn something from it.

Then the balls of water started to change its shape and took on the appearance of different things. One was a large dragon, another one a humanoid giant. There was also a snake, a bird, a four legged beast and a turtle. As for the last ball, many tentacle-like structure came out of it and it became a weird octopus like being but with over one hundred tentacles.

This was truly an exceptional display of magic and he had restricted himself to not cross the A rank. It was truly amazing. But still it was not the end of this spell and there was a little finishing touch left.

Another magic formation appeared around Theorem and some part of the giant water being's body started to freeze. Very soon, all the water beings had equipment made of ice. The flags and claws of the four legged beast, the wing feathers and the beck of the bird and other parts all turned into ice. The giant humanoid also got an armour. With this the spell was complete and the name of this grand magic was "FrostOcean Titans".

Most of the A rakers were dumbfounded after seeing this as they had not expected the principal Theorem to be this enthusiastic. They thought that he would hold back a little bit because of his identity as a S rank powerhouse but he did not do that at all. Now to not get outdone, the other S rankers were also definitely going to do the same thing and would go all out. So, the little hope that other A and B rakers had got demolished at this moment.

But there was someone who was unwilling to give up so easily. Even though Theorem had gone all out, he still had not broken any rules. The power of the spell was still limited to the peak of A rank. So Archenite was definitely not going to give up as long as she had any chance of victory.

She also cast her best spell which was also her namesake, "Fallen Sun". Immediately a large ball of fire appeared in the arena and even before the overwhelming power of the FrostOcean Titans, it was able to hold its own. Archenite's spell was definitely weaker than Theorem's as at the end of the day, both of them were from completely different ranks but the way she was still able to hold her own against Theorem, she booked a spot for herself in the next round.

Seeing this even with her weaker rank, Benshui also tried to go to the arena to cast her spell. But before she could do that, her teacher appeared with the same signature frosty look on her face. Then without saying anything she started to cast her spell. Hetharna was good at casting almost all kinds of elements and no one knew what her limit was. So everyone was excited to see what kind of spell she was going to cast.

A slight wind appeared around Hetharna and soon the speed of the wind started to increase. She was casting her spell even more slowly than Theorem which made it very easy for other mages to study her amazing techniques. As everyone was busy doing that, in a blink of an eye, the slight gust had turned into a full blown tornado.

Then fire appeared in the middle of the tornado and got mixed with wind, turning it into a fire tornado. But the ice also appeared inside it. This was the moment when Hetharna's insane control over her magic was shown and the ice also mixed with the fire tornado independently without having any conflicts with the fire.

But that was not all as thunderclouds appeared above the arena and it started raining, as the wind of the tornado was strengthening the fire, the water of the rain started to strengthen the ice without affecting the fire at all. Now it was becoming almost absurd for the other mages.

Then as the final touch, lightning appeared between the thunderclouds and fell over the tornado. Immediately the harmony between all the four other elements reached the perfect harmony. Normally that lightning would destroy the hard earned balance between the elements but with Hetharna's control, nothing like that happened and her spell was completed. It was a spell that perfectly combined five elements and not all the elements here were complimentary. This spell was named "Yin-Yang Tornado".

With the arrival of this spell instead of increasing the magical pressure on the arena, it actually made it less. In that case now Benshui would have an easier time casting her spell and to demonstrate her prowess. This was how Hetharna not only showed off her powers, she also made it easier for her student. It was truly a fascinating thing to witness.
