All the participants focused very hard as soon as the match started. The words Ethor got were White, Sky and Bug and she needed to create a spell that would have something related to those words. Obviously it was not an easy thing to do and all the other mages were also trying to find out if they were able to create a magic formula using those words.

As for Hetharna, she actually got easier words which were large, red and tree. This sounded like a very simple thing to do but for that same reason, this was a hard challenge. If Hetharna just created a large tree made out of fire, she would not be able to get a good score as that would be very generic and anyone would be able to imagine something like that. So she needed to do something special that no one would be able to guess and that was a very hard thing to do.

But what Theorem got was probably the hardest combination of words as they were not compatible. His words were black, ice and pure. Obviously a mage was able to create a black ice if they mixed dark element with the ice element. But in that case the ice would not be pure anymore. So he needed to think from a different angle to find a solution to this problem.

Archenite got the words scary, blue and desert. This was quite a normal combination of words and it was of a very average difficulty. Now everyone was looking forward to seeing what kind of magic formula Archenite would come up with. Archenite was a very creative person so it would not be too surprising even if she was able to do something miraculous in this round.

Now the final participants and the only C ranker, Benshui was given the words night, animal, green. This was a weird combination of words which sounded easy when first hearing about it and if one tried to think deeper about it then nothing much would come to mind. So this was definitely not an easy combination to crack. But still the audience were sure the Benshui would be able to find a good solution with her genius mind and thinking.

As all the participants got busy with creating the spells, the magic show also started to entertain the audience. The first person to take the stage was none other than Mekina who was also the winner of the young mage's magic competition. In the magic demonstration round of the competition, she did really well and so the audience was looking forward to another great performance from her.

She also did not disappoint anyone and showed off her magic. It was evident that her magic had slightly improved again in such a short period of time. As Mekina was not a genius from a well known family or had a renowned teacher behind her, her popularity among the common population was very high. They were able to get the hope of succeeding in their life from her performing so well on the big stage even though she was also a normal person just like them.

After that the magic demonstration continued as more and more A rankers started to show off their magic. Some of the people even declared that they would be showing new magic using the words that the participants were given. It was a bold declaration but there was no ill will behind it. In this festive atmosphere, it was all just fun and game.

While the whole city of Menuzin was busy celebrating the final of the biggest event of their calendar, there were three individuals covered in black robes looking at the city with  serious expressions on their faces. These black robes were not just for show and had a very powerful concealing function and currently they were hard to be noticed even by the S ranker powerhouses.

"Alberto, are you sure about this ? The power of Menuzin is definitely greater than ours. If they get too offended by our action there is a high chance that we all might die."

Hearing the words of the person standing beside him, the person who looked like the leader of the group frowned a bit and said in an irritated tone.

"Do you think I do not know that ? I have fought those three monsters several times and had even suffered defeat in their hands. I know then better than most. But that magic tomb is just way too valuable."

Hearing that the third person spoke up -

"You have been saying that the book is very valuable for a long time but you have not told us why that book was so valuable. We are also risking our lives here so I demand to know the true value of the book. You must have an idea about it right ?"

After that both of the men looked at the leader like man with intense gazes. From their looks it was clear that they wanted answers from him or they might not co-operate with him anymore, which was something Alberto did not want to happen. So even though he was a bit unwilling, he still decided to tell his partners why he was so obsessed with this particular book.

"There was an ancient record that my teacher had found during his journeys. I had the opportunity to read that record and that is also the source of my information."

Saying this far, Alberto looked at the other two and only after seeing that they were paying keen attention to him, he continued -

"In that record, I read about an ancient organisation that was devoted to the goddess of magic and their only goal in life was to look at the abyss of magic. All the mages who were a part of this organisation were lunatics who had nothing but magic in their heads. This was also a very big organisation that was not only limited to elves. Dwarves, humans, vampires and even many rarely seen demons were also a part of this."

Those words made the others very surprised. If what Alberto said was true then that organisation was present in almost all the continents and was unimaginably big. Alberto did not give the other two any time to think more about this and continued -

"In that record, one of the locations of that organisation was mentioned and that was exactly the ruins from where that book was found. I am 80 percent confident that the book has some amazing truth about magic that would be very valuable. I'm unable to face off against those monsters alone, so I sincerely hope for your assistance.

After knowing that the book might have ancient magical knowledge, the other two also became determined. They reassured Alberto that they would help with in any way possible. So just like that these people continued waiting in the dark for a perfect chance to strike.
