After taking care of the pirates, Admiral Nevelet interrogated the captured ones and found out the reason why they were here. It turned out that the plan that the pirates were hatching was of a very big scale. None of the rank and file pirates knew about the actual plan and only the captain was aware of it who was currently dead. But still the sailors knew that the plan was of a very big scale because the Black Death were not the only pirate gang participating in this but there were five more pirate groups participating whose strength was similar or greater than the Black Death.

But for the time being Elena's crew did not need to worry about this. The Black Death was here to guard this area and all the other groups were far away making preparations for the plan. So in a short amount of time none of the groups would be able to arrive here. That was the reason why they did not need to worry about it in the short term.

Tomoe made the proposal to immediately go to the Island to take care of the main problem. She was quite fired up after witnessing the sea battle even though she did not participate in it and she was also getting impatient to get in some action.

This plan sounded a bit rashed but most of the people agreed with it. They were here to take care of the monster in the first place. So not going to the island was not an option. For that reason all of them decided to reach the island as soon as possible.

After making the decision they did not waste any time and immediately went toward the island. Elena and Tomoe actually moved to the warships as the passenger ship would be very slow and it would also have trouble crossing the storm that was surrounding the island. And someone needed to stay behind to take care of the captured ships and pirates and the passenger ship was perfect for that role.

Normally a passenger ship would not be able to function in this role because they were not strong enough but this magical ship was different and were loaded with high firepower and that was the reason why they were able to perform in this role.

After the four ships started moving, it took them over 10 hours to reach the Island even though normally it would have just taken 2 or 3 hours at most. The reason obviously was the storm which made it extremely hard to advance at all. But after they passed the area filled with storms, suddenly everyone found themselves in a perfectly calm sea as if the previous storm was just a dream.

But the crew did not get to enjoy this sudden time of peace as almost immediately they were attacked by many sea monsters. These monsters were not strong but their numbers were insane. The four ships were having a lot of trouble fending them off.

When it looked like that the four ships would not be able to hold on anymore against the onslaught of countless monsters, suddenly a powerful fireball was launched from the ship which wiped out a large chunk of them. The Admiral immediately ordered the ships to take this chance to go to land on the island.

Obviously the person who had launched the fireball was Elena. She had not interfered with the situation when it looked like the ships would be able to handle it but immediately attacked when it became too much for them.

After they landed on the Island, the monsters stopped chasing after them and did not even come close to the island. The reason for that was very clear. They were extremely scared of the powerful monster that was on the island and they had no intention of getting anywhere near it. Which was a good thing for the crew as they did not have to worry about the monsters attacking them now.

There was a small forest filled green mountain in the middle of the Island. The top of the mountain was flat and that was exactly the area where the valuable thing of this Island could be found and which the vampires wanted to retrieve. But at the same time that was also the place from where the presence of the monster was coming from.

Elena and Tomoe did not waste any time and immediately went toward the mountain top. The others also followed them but were unable to catch up with the two S rankers insane speed. So they were left far behind. But Elena gave them the task of searching the island for any other monster and to slowly make their way to the top to carry the valuable materials down.

After reaching the top of the mountain Tomoe immediately saw a giant figure completely clad in a pitch black magic power. It was not some sort of skill or ability that was covering the monster and instead it was just pure magic power.

Doing such a thing was wasting a huge amount of mana which was a foolish thing to do and this act was not really providing this monster with some sort of enhancement. So Tomoe was not sure why it was doing it.

But now was not the time to think about such things and she took out her sword. Then she clad her body in purple lightning and immediately attacked the monster. She did not really try to sneak attack it as Tomoe had already analysed it to be at level 315 which she should be able to fight head on. That was the reason why she did not try any tricks.

Noticing Tomoe attacking it the monster also retaliated and swung its large tail toward Tomoe.

But Tomoe was able to easily dodge that attack and slashed at the sword. She did not go all out with that attack as she wanted to test the strength of the monster out but still her hit landed very well and dealt a deep wound on that tail.

After getting wounded the black monster got angry and tried to lash out toward Tomoe. But its attacks were all very rashed and were extremely easy for Tomoe to dodge. After a few more minutes of fighting this monster, Tomoe suddenly stopped and created some distance from the monster.

That was done not because the monster was about to make a powerful attack but because Tomoe was very surprised as to how this monster could be so weak. She was able to feel that the stats of this monster were definitely higher than hers but it looked like this monster had no battle experience at all. For Tomoe someone as inexperienced as this monster was an extremely easy opponent.

Just as Tomoe was thinking should she just kill this monster now or not, Elena suddenly clapped her hand and immediately the black monster was restrained by several chains. Then Elena smiled sweetly at the monster and said in a playful tone -

"Play time is over now, sweet little dragon."
