The fleet of five ships were going leisurely toward the city of Koula. After the successful completion of the expedition they were in a very good mood and the speed of the ship was quite slow. The ship had been having a party to celebrate this momentous occasion.

The centre of the whole celebration was obviously Elena and Tomoe. They were getting the VIP treatment and respect of every person present in the ship. But then suddenly Elena made a serious face and as if following her mood, the whole occasion became a bit serious.

After everyone's attention was on Elena she spoke up in a serious tone.

"I'm sensing the presence of quite a few ships in the distance and it looks like they are getting ready to ambush us on our way."

Hearing that everyone immediately became serious and the little jolly atmosphere that was in the ship disappeared. Now all the crew members showed a serious expression and started to listen to Elena with more seriousness.

"The number of our enemies is almost five times higher than ours. So it is going to be a very hard battle. But fear not. Unlike the last fight this time we two are also planning to participate in this fight. So even though it is still day time and our trusty vampires would not be able to fight with their full strength, there is still no doubt about our victory."

Hearing Elena's declaration all the sailors let out a battle cry. All of their blood was boiling and they were ready to fight with all their might. When they remembered the amazing scene of Elena and Tomoe fighting and thought that they would get the chance to fight alongside them, all of them became very excited. They had no fear in their hearts and instead it was filled with battle lust.

When the pirate ships showed the city petrol ships coming toward the location where they had planned for the ambush, they sent an alert signal to the other ships. There were a total of 23 ships participating in this ambush and all of them were battle ready ships full of personnel and weapons.

Only five ships were going to attack from the front while the other 18 ships were hiding nearby. The sea was an open place where it was extremely hard for anyone to hide. But with the excellent knowledge of the pirates, they still managed to find some places where they would be able to hide with their big ships.

This was the proof of how excellent these pirates actually were. They had roamed this area for many many years and they had very good knowledge about the structure of this location. Even though the City Petrol had also been guarding this place for many years, they were still a little bit behind in learning about the structure of the location.

This was one of the main reasons why the pirates were so confident about their chances of winning in this fight. With their knowledge of the terrain and superior numbers, they had no doubt that they were going to win. It was still daytime and the pirates were not planning to allow this fight to go on till nighttime. So the vampires would not be able to affect the outcome of the battle.

The battle started with five ships from both sides clashing together. Eight more ships were closing in on them very quickly. The pirates had thoughts that the people from city petrol would be scared in this dangerous situation but that turned out to not be the case.

Not only that the sailors were not scared, they were actually more ferocious than usual. After the clash happened, within just 5 minutes two of the pirate ships were destroyed. That was very unexpected for the pirates as they were sure that they would be able to hold on until the appearance of the other eight ships.

The other ten ships were waiting for a big opportunity to strike. But with the unexpected destruction of two ships, they were forced to abandon their plans and quickly came out of their hiding place to support the other ships. But when the eight other ships came to support the first few ships, only one ship among them was barely able to hold on.

With the addition of eight more ships the tide of the battle turned and the pirates were able to gain the advantage. Very soon the ten other ships were also about to reach the battleground and seeing that the morale of the pirates soared to high heavens.

But then suddenly purple lightning flashed in the sky and one of the ten incoming ships was cut in half. Then that one flash of lightning was followed by a few more flashes and in just a few moments six among the ten ships were immediately destroyed.

Then a golden magic circle appeared in the sky and from them four large golden spears appeared and penetrated the ships. This strike was enough to sink the remaining four ships immediately. So within just a few moments all the incoming ships were destroyed.

This turn of event was so unexpected that both of the fighting sides froze for a moment. The city petrol knew that Elena and Tomoe were going to take care of the enemy reinforcement on their own. But they had not expected that they would take care of all ten of the ships within moments. This was an absurd scene that completely destroyed everyone's common sense about how sea battles were fought.

After the realisation of what happened set in, all the sailors let out a thunderous shout of joy and on the other hand the pirates fell into despair. The scene of ten ships immediately getting destroyed made them to understand that the people responsible for doing this were also capable of immediately destroying all of them if they wanted. This made them feel very powerless in front of this absolute power.

Just like that, the remaining nine ships lost all their morale. So even with their superior numbers the four city petrol ships and one passenger magic ship were able to dominate all of them. Just like that the battle was over within a very short amount of time.

After that all of them returned back to the city with five of their ships and nine of the captured ships filled with pirates. This was one of the biggest successes that the city petrol had managed to gain in the history of the city. Even though the leaders of the pirate groups were not participating in the fight so they were not captured, it was still a big blow to the pirates of this sea area.

Just like that the mission Elena and Tomoe took came to an end.
