After returning to the city both of them were given a grand welcome by the city. Both of them were also invited to stay in the city but they obviously rejected. Elena wanted to visit more new places and Tomoe also needed to return back to her home soon. Or at least that was the plan but now it had changed slightly.
Last night on the ship, Alisia had a proposal for them. Seeing that both Elena and Tomoe were so interested in their vampire culture, Alisia asked them if Elena and Tomoe had any intention to visit the continent of the vampires. That was something both of them were truly interested in and so the answer was simple.
Entering the nation of the vampire was not an easy thing to do. Vampires considered the land where they lived in to be sacred and so outsiders were not welcomed here that much. Because of a special blessing the sun's rays did not reach this continent and so this was the only place in this world that experienced eternal everlasting night. This situation was like a heaven to the vampires but for any other races who were used to the cycle of day and night, this was a truly bad situation. There were even some incidents where some people from several different races had gone mad because they were unable to get used to this Eternal Night situation.
For all these reasons, the entry in this continent was very restricted. Only a few individuals from other races with special identities were able to freely enter this continent. It was especially difficult for people who were going to this continent for the first time as at this moment they had no connections there.
That was the reason why it would be hard for Tomoe to enter the vampire continent even with her identity as a S ranker. So if she was able to easily visit this interesting place with just a little help from her new friend, then Tomoe did not see any reasons why she could not accept Alisia's proposal.
But there was still a problem and that was the fact that Tomoe's deadline to return home was coming closer and closer. So currently Tomoe was unable to go on a long trip without taking the risk of worrying everyone waiting for her return in the sacred village.
So it made her quite sad that she would miss this golden opportunity. Seeing her in this state Elena decided to lend her a hand and she reassured Tomoe that Elena herself would use teleportation to tell everyone that Tomoe would be a bit late in returning. Elena also found this opportunity to be very rare and visiting the vampire continent would truly be a grand perfect ending for this expedition of hers.
This made Tomoe very happy and excited as this would be for the very first time that Tomoe would be able to get a chance to visit a whole different continent. This would truly be a highlight of this journey of hers. Tomoe was excited to think how many amazing stories would she be able to tell to her fellow villagers.
...
So, Elena and Tomoe would be leaving the city of the very next morning alongside the passenger magic ship of the vampires. Alisia was going to give Elena and Tomoe a special identity of being the honoured guest for their marquis family and this identity would allow them to get access to most of the things available in the nation of the vampires.
This would also be the longest sea journey for Tomoe. According to Alisia even in a normal situation, the journey from Koula to Vestihoul would take about twelve days. But if there were any troubles on the sea, the time needed in this journey would increase.
Alisia was a bit apologetic about it but Elena and Tomoe both were absolutely fine with it. They did not mind spending some extra time on the sea as they actually liked the sea Journey phase a lot. But still Alisia decided to provide them with the best possible service of the ship to make up for this.
There would be two escort ships accompanying the Main Passenger ship. These two ships were a bit damaged in a sea battle a few days ago and were unable to go on the S rank mission. Now they were perfectly fine and would be able to escort the main ship to their homeland. Obviously most of the sailors of those two ships were Vampires with only a few of them being demons or dwarves.
Other than those two ships, three more ships would also escort them to a certain part of the ocean. These ships were mercenary ships and they got this job from the mercenary guild. It was done just as an extra precaution and Alisia did not allot a huge sum of money to it. So the mercenaries who had taken this job were not any bigshots but a normal veteran group who earned their living by hunting pirates in this area. That was fine though as the vampire fleet themselves were strong enough.
...
Early the next morning Elena and Tomoe went to the harbour. The sun had just barely rising and this would be the perfect time for them to set off. The Vampires had taken advantage of their increased strength at night to finish all the needed preparation and were ready to depart. The mercenary ships were also told about the departure time again and again so they were also not late.
Just as Elena and Tomoe climbed to the ship, they all started their voyage. The sun was still not perfectly out yet so the vampires were still enjoying an increase in their powers and they were using that extra powers to complete all the needed preparation in the shortest possible time. When they would lose this boost, most of the vampires would go to sleep. This process was truly fascinating.
After the ship was found to be without any problems Alisia came to Elena's and Tomoe's room. Having a chat with these two has become her favourite hobby nowadays. Elena and Tomoe both were extremely knowledgeable in various matters and Alisia liked to hear about this higher level perspective of a truly strong powerhouse.
While talking about various matters, Tomoe suddenly asked Alisia if there were any true danger zone situations on their way. And in reply Alisia told her about the three danger zones that they would need to be crossing in order to save time. These places were surely dangerous but with good experienced sailors, crossing them was not a big deal. Only one among those three places could provide some challenge to these ships.
Alisia suddenly remembered about an interesting story that she had heard from an old sailor. When she told Elena and Tomoe about it they also got interested and asked her about it. So Alisia started to tell them about it.
