After returning to the city, Elena and Tomoe first booked a large room for all seven of the ladies and asked them to rest there for the time being. Elena had already cleaned them up with her magic but she also booked the whole bath for two hours and allowed all the ladies to clean themselves up to their heart's content. Only after all the victim ladies had settled down and Elena was sure that they were fine, she and Tomoe left the inn and went to the adventurer guild.

The owners of the two companies were already waiting in the guild after getting the news that Elena and Tomoe were back in the city. So before telling the guild master about the bandits and the monsters, both of them had another meeting with the owners and Elena gave the secrets back to them.

Both of the owners took some time to verify that all the stolen secrets were there and after the verification was done, they thanked Elena and Tomoe, again and again. Elena slightly smiled at them and told them to not worry about it.

After this meeting was done, Elena and Tomoe followed the same receptionist lady again to the guild master's room. The guild master was already waiting for Elena and Tomoe there so no time was wasted.

Elena first told the guild master that the first location was the actual target but she did not tell him about that organisation. As for that building, it actually belonged to that organisation as the leader had bought it many years ago. So their doing research on that location was completely valid.

Then Elena told the guild master about the second and the third locations. When he heard that there was an A rank monster in the second location, all the blood got drained from his face. This city had two A rankers which was quite impressive for a city of their size. But both of them were not that strong.

Guild master Aizawa had seen quite a few A rank adventurers in his life and these two living in this city were at the bottom of the barrel for an A rank powerhouse. They were still more than capable enough to deal with B rank monsters without a problem but an A rank one could still be a massive problem for them.

Guild master Aizawa was very relieved that it was Elena and Tomoe who had gone to that factory. If any other adventurers or soldiers had gone there, they most probably would not have been able to return back. So he bowed to both Elena and Tomoe in gratitude for getting rid of this big danger for the city.

Aizawa was very scared and his face paled when he heard about the A rank monster but when he heard the name Shadow Hounds, he almost fell from his seat. Elena was a bit surprised by this massive reaction and asked him for the reason.

According to what Elena had heard from the bandits, they were infamous but not so much that a guild master would become this unsettled. Seeing the look that Elena and Tomoe were giving him, Aizawa became embarrassed and apologized for his unsightly behaviour. Then he explained why his reaction was like that.

Just a few days ago, all the Adventurer guilds of this region were given a special order by the central guild of the vampire continent. These special orders were not very common so it was given a lot of importance. The subject of this order to the Shadow Hounds bandit group.

Even these bandits did not know it, but among the people that they had looted in their previous location, a servant of a duke class household was included. That servant was in a secret mission and had a very important family heirloom with him. So the Duke himself requested the guild to search for that item.

Using their vast network, the guild was able to find out that the shadow hounds were actually hiding in this region and that was the reason why all the guilds here were given that order. The guild master had never expected that infamous group to be so close to his city. And that was the reason why he was so surprised.

But after learning this, he expected that nothing could surprise him anymore. But when Elena mentioned the name Wonderful Melody, which was the name of the travelling entertainment group that was destroyed by these bandits, the guild master was shocked once again. Then when he learnt that there were actually survivors, he frantically started asking Elena if two girls named Saria and Zona were among the survivors.

Elena was again surprised by the pleading look that the guild master was giving him but she had to disappoint him. The girl named Zona was among the victims that she rescued but Saria was not. Elena had already learnt from those ladies that Saria was one of the few females of that group who knew how to fight and she died in the battle against those scum bandits.

When Aizawa learnt that Saria was dead, his expression immediately became very sad and he sat in silence while holding his head. Elena and Tomoe also did not speak and gave the guild master some quiet time. They had also noticed that when Saria's death was mentioned, the receptionist standing behind them also started shaking and almost fell down.

Elena and Tomoe stood up from their seats and allowed May to sit down. They also provided the saddened guild master and the receptionist with little alcohol as Elena and Tomoe felt that they might need it right now.

After some time, both of them calmed down. May stood up from the seat bowed to Elena and Tomoe for their kindness and went back to the position where she was standing beforehand. Then after Elena and Tomoe sat down once again, Aizawa told them why they were especially sad about Saria's death.

Saria was actually an adventurer before and was quite famous in the city. She had married another adventure and they were known to be a very loving couple. Zona was their only daughter. But in an unfortunate accident, her husband died while raiding a dungeon and after that incident Saria became very disturbed for few years.

But then she started playing a musical instrument called Asakha which was a string instrument and became very fond of it. Later she became so good at it that she was invited to join a well known entertainment company. Saria was always remembering her husband while living in this city so she also decided to go with this travelling group to clear her mind a bit. So the mother and daughter pair temporarily joined that group.

May was good friends with Saria and Aizawa had always thought of her as a little sister. That was why both of them were extremely sad. After learning this Elena started thinking what her next steps should be. What would be the best for these unfortunate ladies ?
