After the fight with Duke Karl was over, Elena and Tomoe went back to the city of Utreyana. This did end in a little awkward situation but Tomoe did not take it to her heart. This fight had been a beneficial experience for her and she was able to improve through it. That's all that mattered to her. Karl being a bit of a sore loser was not a big deal. Actually Tomoe would have been a bit surprised if a high ranking duke like him was not a bit arrogant.

When the other ladies heard about this incident, they were a bit surprised. Duke Moronto had a lot of influence in the vampire society and he was mostly known as a generous person. This reading of his character was exactly how he had acted before the fight started and he was badly pushed back. So Elena was sure that this news was not wrong. And having a lot of pride in one's own strength was actually a good thing in Elena's book. In her opinion it was a lot better than having pride in someone's lineage or ancestors.

Then Elena told them about the festival that would be soon happening in Duke's territory and the fact that Elena and Tomoe wanted to visit that with everyone present here. All yeh ladies immediately became excited after learning that they would get a chance to have a vacation with Elena except for Kaya who would not be able to take a break from her job.

Many monsters were appearing around the city and the sea monsters were also getting active. This was not an unusual occurrence as almost every year around this time something like this happens. This would keep the adventurers very busy in this season as it was a good time to earn good money and clearing those monsters were needed for the safety of the roads, ships and cities too. So obviously Kaya would also have to be extremely busy as the guild master of the biggest guild of this region.

So it would be extremely hard and almost impossible for her to get an extended holiday to visit a distant city. Everyone was sad after learning it but they also understood her situation. The people who were most excited about this trip were actually Anne and Turin. They were the youngest among the people present here and had never had a chance to participate in a vacation like this.

Anne had not gotten this chance because of her illness obviously and as for Turin he always had to be busy with his many studies and duties as the heir of a long standing and powerful dragon clan. So he also never had the chance to take a fun vacation. So he was extremely interested in checking a new place out.

After telling the ladies about this, Elena called Grace and Leshia out for a little private discussion. The other ladies continued their trip planning inside Alisia's room. So the topic Elena wanted to discuss with them was about the ladies she had taken in just a few days ago. They were doing good work in her mini world but there were a few people who wanted to somehow help Elena in this world too.

Elena was also planning to open a shop or business of some kind in the land of eternal night. This was a hobby of hers and she was obviously planning to do the same in the Elvin and Dwarvian nations too. The only reason she had not done that beforehand was mostly because she was not sure if she should just open a single company trading with both races or two separate companies. And she also had not found someone who was very good with managing this kind of thing.

But here in the vampire continent she had Zona. This girl had impressed Elena with her willpower and her quick wits. She was a good girl who had a sharp mind. Elena was sure that any task she would leave to this girl, she would complete it perfectly. So Elena was planning to open a company with these ladies.

But opening a company was not that easy. The whole vampire continent was a single nation ruled over by the goddess herself. But at the same time there were many vampire queens who were ruling over certain areas and even the vampire nobles had almost a perfect autonomy in their respective region.

This system was actually very compact and not many problems happened with it. But at the same time, because of this there were many many different types of laws in different places. The goddess was obviously not interested in ruling over her children like an empress, so she had not made any strict laws. That was why the process of getting a business license approved in the whole nation was extremely troublesome.

Obviously if Elena asked the goddess about it then it would be a very easy thing. But this was not something that a goddess should worry about. And getting a license from the goddess would also not have an official record which was also a bad thing.

If Elena just wanted a trading license for this region alone, there would be no trouble. Just Alisia or even just Grace was able to immediately give her that. But that was not the case as Elena wanted the best possible licence for her new company. So she wanted to ask Grace and Leshia about it who were the most literate in the field of law.

After hearing what Elena wanted to know, both Leshia and Grace gave it a good thought and told Elena what they knew. The only organisation that was capable of giving Elena a continental trading license was the Queen Counsil.

The Queen Council was the organisation with the highest authority in the vampire continent just below the goddess. All the vampire queens except for two were part of the council and they had the right and authority to issue this license. As Elena was a S rank adventurer, there was a chance that her request might be accepted but both Grace and Leshia were not too confident in that. So now Elena could just send her request to the council and wait for the result.

The Utreyana city had a small office belonging to the council but this office did not have much authority because of a recent scandal so they would most probably not be able to send Elena's request to the headquarters. So it would be better for Elena to send her request from a different branch. As they were going to visit the city of Moronto soon, then sending that from there would be a good idea.

So Elena decided that she was going to do just that. Then she went out of the marquis' mansion alone while the other two ladies went back to Alisia's room. Elena now had some tasks to complete, alone.
