The time of departure for the caravan was actually very early in the morning equivalent to EARTH's 3 am. The reason for that was once again secrecy. They were also not using any of the normal city gates. The Merchant's Guild had used a favour the Margrave family owed them to request a secret passage out of the city.

From all these preparations it was evident that the goods were really very valuable. Not only that but all the carriages that were part of the caravan were actually camouflages. The real goods were divided inside two storage rings. Three of the guild employees were going to follow the caravan acting as members and they would be in charge of the rings.

The valuable things were actually S rank monster materials that the merchant guild collected from the adventurer guild. Elena didn't think too much about those materials as they belonged to only low level S ranks but in this world only S rank adventurers could hunt S rank monsters and very few countries had S rankers in their employment. So those materials were super rare.

Not only that those could be used to create super strong weapons so they definitely shouldn't fall in the wrong hands or the consequence would be unbelievable. But a lot of people know that the guild had S rank materials as the transaction happened in public and that was why there was so much secrecy.

Elena reached the hidden passage exactly when she was requested to come. The caravan was already ready. Except the caravan members only the Margrave and some of his followers were present there. They thanked Elena and requested her to visit their city again. Elena also promised to come back here in the future.

Then she greeted the three leaders of the caravan. When Elena went to the merchant guild for the first time all of them were there and had some conversation with her. They were Logun, Shu and Tom. They were some of the richest merchants operating in Rin. They then introduced Elena to their own guard captain.

All of them had one guard captain and they were all at least as strong as B rank adventurers. All the other members that were participating as guards were also at least above equivalent to C rankers. Their quantity was not high but the quality sure was.

Then after all the preparations were done and the main protection targets, the guild employees had also arrived, the caravan left the city.

As soon as they entered the Wicked Forest of Ull they got attacked by a lot of Night birds and owl type flying monsters. Some wolves and night cats also attacked them. Elena didn't participate in this fight as all the monsters were just E and D rank.

But the guards were very excited and filled with energy. They all did their absolute best when fighting against these monsters. The reason behind their excitement was because they wanted to impress Elena. Even the 3 leaders of the guards were also trying to show off.

She was a supreme beauty so the guards enthusiasm was very much expected by the merchant but they still got kinda annoyed as they themselves can't do anything to impress her. So a lot of monsters were slaughtered.

The first time Elena had to fight was after 2 hours from when they started their journey. It was breaking of dawn. A large wolf type monster with horns attacked the caravan with its team of other lower level wolves. It was a level 240 monster. No one from the guards was strong enough to face it. So Elena eliminated this monster using a low ranking wind magic spell .

It was a very basic spell but Elena used just enough power to kill the beast. It was proof of her excellent magic control.

All the guards cheered after watching Elena killing the strong monster instantly. She used a wind magic spell as she wanted to do as little damage as possible to the fur of this monster as this monster fur was really beautiful. She then gave all the other materials of this wolf monster to the guards and only kept the fur for herself. The guards once again cheered as the materials from a B rank monster would be very expensive.

As the sun rose, the number of monster attacks also decreased. But from them on any of the monsters that attacked the caravan were all at least C rank so the battle got harder and harder for the guards. Later they were again attacked by another B rank monster but this time Elena let the guards handle it as this monsters level was not very high only 213.

After continuing the journey for 8-9 hours straight the caravan finally stopped for lunch when they found a clearing inside the forest. All the members of the caravan were insanely tired, especially the guards as they had to fight quite a lot of monsters. As they were taking out dry bread and hard jerky for lunch Elena stopped them. She said to them -

"You all must be quite tired after this continuous journey. These bad tasting foods are obviously not going to relieve you all from your fatigue. So as a little reward I will cook for you all today. I was very impressed by the guards performance so they will get a special dish from me. And Monika, Jane, kyle and Sona did exceptionally well against those monsters so, here these are high quality weapons. Take it as a reward from me, okay?"

Elena had almost an unlimited amount of money and even the money creators of this world were her friends. When she didn't have any money in her previous world she had to live as a cheapskate. There was even a time when she wanted to give someone some money but she didn't have enough money to give.

So, after coming to this world and having access to almost unlimited amounts of money Elena developed a special fondness for giving gifts. That was why she had given the adventurers a lot of valuable gifts and now she was giving these guards gifts too. She had her special power to read someone's thoughts and emotions so she didn't have to worry about giving a gift to someone unworthy.

After they rested for about 2 hours they restarted their journey once again. In this half of the journey they were finally attacked by an A rank monster. Elena this time fought and defeated the monsters using her swords as a little demonstration for the guards. Other than that there were only C ranks that attack.

When the sun went down they stopped the caravan and started to arrange their tents. As the guards were planning to discuss the role of night guards Elena dismissed them and said -

"Don't worry about the night guard. I will summon some monsters for that duty. So, don't worry and just rest."

The guards had complete trust for Elena and so they accepted her proposal gratefully. So, Elena then used her Creation Magic to create some monsters of about level 400-500 and gave them the guard duty. Any monsters that attacked the camp at night were taken care of by them. And just like that the night passed.
