The second day of the caravan was way more peaceful than the first one. As they were entering the depths of the forest, their speed was getting very slow. They were only attacked by two monster groups before lunchtime. Even tho those groups were led by B rank monsters, they weren't much of a threat to the hyped up guards.

As Elena was once again cooking for the group, Shu, one of the leading merchants spoke up -

"According to some information we collected before, we are very soon going to enter the territory of a S rank monster. This monster is one of the calmest among the known S rank ones but still we all need to be extra careful going forward."

One of the young guards asked -

"What kind of monster is it ?"

"Its species is called "Taetitotu". It looks like a giant ball and it is very slow. Even B rank monsters would be faster than that. But it had very high defence and it is almost impossible to deal any damage to it. Other than that it has a special roar that can directly damage the mind. So it is quite a hard monster to fight as only one roar from it will be able to kill anyone below level 200 instantly."

Hearing about their discussion and seeing the scared faces of the low level guards Elena reassured them by saying -

"Don't worry everyone. Before we enter the territory of this monster I will cast a special blessing on all of you that will protect you against mind attacks."

After learning that Elena would cast a blessing on them they all became cheerful again. They didn't even fearedy the S rank monster anymore. From that it could be seen how much they all believed in Elena. And according to what she said Elena cast a <Mind Protection (High)> on them. Even a low level mind protection would also be more than enough but Elena was still somewhat hiding her powers. If a low level protection was enough to stop a S rank's attacks then that would be too unbelievable. That was why she used a high level protection spell. That was also more reassuring for her.

As they entered the dangerous region all the caravan members except Elena felt a chill run down their spines. They had just entered this place but they could instantly feel the terrifying aura of a S rank. Even with Elena's blessing they still subconsciously became on guard.

If they could maintain the pace they were currently having they would be able to get out of the S rank's territory before nightfall. But the scary aura made their speed to be very very slow. The low level persons like the merchants and the guild personnel were almost on the verge of fainting.

Seeing that scene Elena once again cast another spell <Aura Cancelling Barrier> and that was enough to stop the effect from Taetitotu's aura. After going for two hours or so without much activity as in the territory of a S rank monster there were no other low level monsters present. But the caravan was very unlucky. They could see a large ball-like thing lying in the middle of the road which was their only way forward.

It had purple coloured skin and a very large mouth. It had no eyes, ears or nose. There were five large horns of five different colours on this monster's head. It looked kinda adorable and super scary at the same time. Yes it was Taetitotu and the caravan encountered it.

Elena used her analysis on it and found out several interesting things such as the five horns on its head all had different effects. One could shoot out a concentrated light beam. Another one could release a special type of homing magic. The third one could store extra magic, the fourth one could create an explosion and the last one could change its shape and size.

All in all this monster was a lot stronger than what the merchants thought it's strength to be. It also had a lot of tricks. Moreover, it was level 342 which could be considered as being almost at the top of S rank monsters. But this monster was very lazy and it's favourite hobby was to sleep. It also had a very laid back outlook on humans and was not as aggressive as other monsters.

But the main problem now was that it was blocking the way forward. And it didn't matter how laid back it was, as if someone woke it up from sleep it would definitely attack.

Elena didn't want to hurt or kill this monster for no reason as because of its presence there were a lot less monsters on this side of Wicked Forest. So the cities here were a lot safer. So killing it would be a bad decision. So, as the solution Elena decided was reveal a bit more of her powers, specifically her teleportation ability.

Elena wasn't really trying to hide her powers for keeping a low profile but she was just trying to not do something unbelievable as that could create a lot of problems for her. She didn't want to answer hundreds of questions or to be feared by someone. But now doing a little bit of teleportation would be the best solution. It wasn't like Elena didn't have any other solutions but this one was the easiest.

So she told the group about it. She was kinda worried that she had to spend quite a lot of time answering their questions but unexpectedly they didn't ask anything and just waited with stars in their eyes to see Elena's miracle. It was as if they were just watching a very good show. Seeing them like that Elena didn't know if she should laugh or cry.

Without wasting any more time Elena used her teleportation magic and teleported the whole caravan 5 km away from their last location. Now Taetitotu was behind them still sleeping soundly. After that, they walked for about 3 more hours and were able to leave the wicked forest safely. This was the hardest part of their journey and it was over without much trouble. It was all thanks to Elena.

There was no city close by but there were some small villages. So the three leading merchants decided to spend the night in one of those villages and leave for the city tomorrow morning. They were able to find one of those villages very easily and the head of the village was very happy to let them stay inside some of the abandoned houses for the night after getting paid a good amount of money.

The villagers were kind enough to even invite the caravan members for dinner. Elena rejected the request and invited all the villagers for a party where she would cook for them. She special made this invitation as all the children of the village were clinging to her. So to give them some good food Elena planned this party.

So, after charming the whole village with her tasty food and incredible beauty Elena went to bed. She still sent out some monsters specialised in stealth to guard the whole village. And that is how the second day of her travel ended.
