It did not take them long to establish the rule of the fight. For a fight of this level even killing was not enough to end the battle as both of them were able to resurrect many many times. Actually just getting their bodies destroyed was a minor thing and they were able to come back from that almost infinitely and getting the soul damaged was dangerous but not something unrecoverable.

The most important thing for a battle of this calibre was the mastery of laws and concepts. Concept magic was such a thing and even for the warriors they needed to manipulate or break concepts with their weapons or physical prowess. So the battle became a lot more complex.

Actually any being who was above level 5000 would not even be able to fight at all if they were not able to accelerate their thoughts. There were a lot of things to consider in a fight of this level and without faster processing speed, anyone would be overwhelmed.

So to actually kill a being of this level, the best way was to erase their existence. This was the best way to make sure that the person one killed would not still be alive in some part of the universe, using some unbelievable method.

But erasing existence was not an easy thing to do, especially for high level beings. They all had extremely powerful presence and almost all of them had made a deep mark for the universe. So even though this was the best method, almost no one was able to use it.

Then the next best way to keep a powerful being death was to overwhelm their concept of life with your own concept. This was the most commonly used method but it was not very reliable as there were many ways for a powerhouse to stay alive. Everyone was carrying at least a few trump cards to save their life. So who knew what weird method the opponent would have to get resurrected again.

So for this battle, the simple rule was made to not use any moves to hurt each other's existence. This was a simple matter as in that case, even if both of them killed each other many times, they would still be able to stay alive without any problem.

This was actually a bad rule for Elena as she was only able to give her absolute best when she was fighting for her survival with her life on the line. But still she had no reason to make this a life and death duel when the being opposite to her was not that hostile. So she accepted this proposal and the battle started.

Normally at the start of a battle, Elena would always be ready with her beloved sword. That was the weapon she was best at using and for any serious battle where she could not afford to take risks, she always used it. But today was a bit different as Elena was actually using a three sectioned staff or what was also called a coiling dragon staff.

This was a weapon that Elena had never used before when she was fighting to save the world. At that time she was busy with her sword and learnt a few other famous weapons like spear and bow as they were useful in many circumstances. But for an unusual weapon like the three sectioned staff, Elena never had the time to learn it.

But after she was done saving the world and was spending leisurely time in a peaceful world, she started to try out various different weapons and the three sectioned staff was one of them. After practicing it for some time, Elena discovered something amazing. Her affinity with this weapon was extremely high.

Elena was a genius when it came to the sword. As for other weapons, even though she was still very good at learning them, her compatibility with those weapons was nowhere near her compatibility with the sword. But after practicing with the three sectioned staff, she saw that her compatibility with this was sky high probably even better than sword.

Elena was not sure if the compatibility was better than the sword or not as she was learning to use the three sectioned staff at a much higher level. So obviously she was learning it faster than the sword. Nonetheless, she was able to master the three sectioned staff extremely quickly.

Now it was time for Elena to test this weapon out in a real battle. The staff she was currently using was not a genesis or universal grade item but a simple rank 6 cosmic item. Universal and Genesis items were unique and only a few worlds and the universe itself was capable of creating them. But cosmic items were craftable by high level individuals and Elena had made this staff herself.

The start of the battle was very calm where Elena tried to break the ancient beings body. It had a physical body that was boosted with the concept of celestial and it was not easy to destroy. Elena swung her staff around at high speed and hit the large body of this being with her powerful ATK star and used the concept of annihilation. The amount of power that she used was capable of destroying a few high grade worlds easily but this ancient being was able to endure it without much trouble.

It's not like these attacks had no effect. As the defense of this being was lower than Elena had expected, her attacks were able to easily destroy some of the gems but in almost no time this being used the concept of creation to repair them. Obviously it used up some of its MP for this act but the amount of MP it had was insane and the speed at which this ancient primordial was able to regenerate its MP was also very fast. So those attacks by Elena had almost no effect.

After Elena was done with her full set of this attack, this primordial being made its move. It almost looked like a turned based fight but actually that was not the case and both of them were just checking each other out.

Seven large gems among many shattered into million pieces and immediately went to attack Elena.

After facing this attack Elena understood why this being's DEX was so high. It could basically use all those millions of stones to attack Elena and could even control all of them individually. This needed a huge amount of DEX to pull off and even Elena would not be capable of controlling so many stones individually.

Currently only seven gems were used by this Primordial Being for this attack and it had thousands of such gems. So if it used all the gems in fact fashion, Elena would not be able to control so many, over trillions of pieces at once.

But now was not the time to think about all this as Elena needed to defend against this attack. So she used Temporal and Dimensional concepts to create a barrier with infinite distance which also separated her from this attack by putting herself millions of years away from the shattered gems.

But still this attack tried to break through the space time barrier to reach Elena while Elena tried to stop that from strengthening her own concepts.

That was how this insane battle continued.
