After a few minutes of struggle, Elena came out in top in this battle between concepts. While Elena was trying to strengthen her space and time concepts as much as possible to keep the shattered gems pieces away from her, the Primordial Being was trying to move those pieces through the space and time to hit Elena. But at the end it turned out that Elena's mastery over those two concepts was just slightly better than this primordial being's.

But that was not the end of the attack for the Ancient being. More gems around him shattered and this time the shattered pieces did not attack Elena directly and instead created some special formations. But that was only one half of the shattered gems and the other half joined with different pieces of gems to create several spears.

Elena was once again ready to defend herself with the same way but this time she was not successful. One of the spears appeared before her almost instantly within even going through her barrier. Elena was forced to use one of her skills to teleport away from her location to hundreds of lightyears away.

But as soon as she appeared in her new location, another spear was waiting for her there. So Elena continued teleporting while trying to judge how these spears were following her. Soon with he many sensing skills, she was able to analyse the spear and was able to find the reason.

Those formations that the ancient being had deployed, was actually a powerful skill of his related to one of the most powerful and complex concepts, the highest form of fate, causality. So with the help of causality, this being was making sure that Elena would definitely be targeted by the spears.

As this concept was way too hard to maintain, even this being was not able to use this concept on more than one spear. That was the reason why Elena was greeted by only one spear every time she teleported away.

But even after learning about the concept behind the attack, Elena's situation did not improve at all. She was very talented but the concept of causality was not something so simple to master. Even she had not been able to understand this concept with her limited experience so far.

Elena found out that three of her methods were able to perfectly defend against these attacks and seven of them were partially successful just like the first method that she tried.

But now that she had successfully defended against this attack, it was her chance to attack again. One of the successful methods was to target the spears and instead of avoiding them, she should just break them. And Elena did exactly that and destroyed all the spears that were targeting her one by one. Then she used one of her favourite concepts to attack this powerful being.

The concept that Elena used was End and Beginning. This was a new type of concept that Elena was just trying out with quite a few of her clones. She had managed to just slightly grasp it and she was hoping that by using this in a battle of the same level, she would be able to understand this concept better.

End and Beginning were quite an abstract concept and could mean many many things. Elena first tried to start a new beginning for the primordial being but faced insane resistance. Obviously for a being of this power, giving it a new beginning by ending the current one was not easy and almost impossible. So Elena did not force that and started to try out many different approaches.

Just like this back and forth continued between the both of them where they used various concepts and skills to dominate each other. Sometimes it was Elena's win and sometimes it was the primordial being who got the victory. But all in all, this was amazing practice session for both of them.

It lasted for a long time but at the same time it lasted for almost no time, having the mastery over the time was truly a very complicated thing. Elena had managed to improve tremendously during this fight and the same was true for the primordial being even though it's improvements were not as insane as Elena's.

But at the end of this battle, both of them were satisfied. It was just a practice battle and none of them went all out. But still for beings like them having a chance to fight it out was rare so both of them enjoyed it. At the end, this primordial being even gave Elena a piece of its gem as a keepsake and this way they would be able to contact each other. Elena also gave him a token with her emblem on it and that primordial being would also be able to use this to contact Elena. So this way they parted ways in a very good situation.

As for the result of the battle, there were some times when Elena took the lead but there were also times when the primordial being was at a dominant position. So the result could be considered to be a draw.
