After preparing for about a month, finally everyone was ready for the trip. The people who would be participating in this grand trip were Elena, Tomoe, Turin, Anne, Kaya, Leshia, Alisia and Grace. These eight people would be going to the territory of duke Moronto to enjoy the famous Blessed Night festival. This festival was an ancient festival with a history of hundreds of thousands of years. So it was extremely famous throughout the whole vampire continent.

Tomoe was extra happy and excited for this trip. There were no signs that she was feeling tired even though she had been having a tough but fun adventure in the special area that Elena had created just for her. The gloom from her previous days was completely gone.

The others were also looking to be in a good mood which was a very good thing. It looked like Anne and Turin had gotten closer to one another and Grace was also looking very relaxed today. Elena was happy that everyone was in a good mood even before the start of this trip. So after making sure that no one had forgotten to bring the essential things that they would need in this trip, the group finally set off.

This trip was going to take a total of 10 days of journey. They had planned the trip in a way so that no matter what, their group would be able to reach the city of Moronto before the start of the festival.

There were actually faster modes of transport available for them but still they decided to take the slower method. That was because this method allowed them to enjoy the scenery on the way and they could also take breaks whenever they wanted. But these facilities would not be available to them in the faster ride. And the ladies were not really in any kind of hurry.

So this group would be travelling in the back of a large bird like monster. This monster was not very strong and was only in the C rank in terms of power. But it had a massive body and a structure very suited to carry heavy things on its back.

Actually the area where these monsters lived had a very short period of time when food was available there. And the only food that could be found there was large fruits. So in order to gather and store as much food as possible in the harvest season, this monster had naturally become used to carrying heavy load.

This particular monster who was going to take Elena's group was especially trained by the marquis house to follow the orders of their bloodline. So they did not need someone else to drive this bird and Alisia was able to do that. She had actually practiced doing this for the last few days and was quite good at it.

There was a large gondola-like structure on this bird monster's back and that would be the area where everyone would be sitting.

After making sure that everyone was sitting properly, Alisia took a deep breath and ordered the bird monster to start flying. The take off went without a hitch and everyone was soon on their way to the city of Moronto.

Alisia did need to give regular orders to this monster to make sure that it did not go off course. But there was no need for her to give orders very often so she was able to participate in the conversation with everyone. Alisia was curious about how everyone spent their time preparing for this trip and so the ladies started to tell her about it. Turin and Anne were not included in this question as all the preparations for them were made by others.

Just as everyone started to tell each other their experiences, soon a fact came to light. Elena had been helping everyone out with their preparation this whole time. Even Grace and Alisia had received help from her when they were having trouble thinking how to handle that idiot cousin of her.

So everyone immediately started to thank Elena again and again for all her help. Elena told them to not worry about it as she was only doing this to make this whole trip more fun. So if they enjoyed this trip to their fullest, then that would make Elena happiest.

After this, the ladies did not said any more gratitude as they decided to show that by their behaviour. So the topic of conservation started to change. Now the ladies started gossiping about various things happening in the city of Utreyana and soon this turn into a lecture from Grace about the history of this grand city.

Grace was a very good talker so this lecture was not boring at all and was actually quite enjoyable. Most of the vampires living in the city knew about the general history of this city but many deeper incidents were unknown to them. Even nobles like Kaya and Leshia had no idea about it. Alisia knew a little bit as she was still studying about this topic, her knowledge in this field was limited. So Grace was the only one who knew about this in detail as this was a part of her special maid training.

Just as Grace was about to tell the how the uncle of the second marquis was trying to propose to his grandniece, Tomoe noticed something down in the ground. Currently they were flying over a small mountain range and there was a small valley in the middle of all these mountains.

Tomoe pointed toward the valley and everyone present on the gondola looked toward it. There was something large moving in there. But as they were quite high up and the moving thing was half underground, even a S ranker like Tomoe was not able to recognise what that was.

Finding this very interesting, everyone decided to land and check this out. They were not really worried about their safety with several A and S rankers present here, so it was absolutely fine to check this out.

Someone needed to stay here to guard the bird monster as if a strong monster attacked it this bird was not strong enough to protect itself. Grace asked everyone to leave this duty to her as she was relieved with Alisia having so many strong people to protect her. When everyone asked if it was really fine, Grace smiled slightly and told them that she was not really much interested in whatever was there in the valley, so it was perfectly fine.

So Alisia made this bird monster to land on one of the mountains and put it inside a cave. Grace also stayed inside that cave to make sure the bird monster was fine and also fed it some food in the meantime. As for everyone else, they started going down the mountain toward the valley.
