Tomoe was at the lead as the strongest person of this group just after Elena. Kaya was just behind her with her beloved sword in hand. Alisia and Anne were together getting protected by Turin and Leshia. And Elena alone was taking care of their rear. This was a perfect formation that took care of everyone's safety other than Elena's who did not need any kind of safety measures.

Elena's group did not face any monsters while going down the mountain. Then soon they were in front of the thing that was slightly moving. It was not very clear from the up. But from the side, this thing looked like a super large heart which was still beating in a proper rhythm.

The sight of a heart that was still beating even after being out of the body would be an unbelievable sight for a human but for a vampire it was not that uncommon. But still this heart was able to surprise the vampires too and that was because of its size.

Most of the vampires had normal heights. It's not like there were no vampires with super large bodies but this heart was still way too big.

The height of this heart was over ten meters. So the owner of the heart was hundreds of meters tall. That was truly an astonishing height. So most of the people present here judged that this heart did not belong to a vampire but to some kind of monster with powerful recovery ability.

Kaya and Leshia went ahead to start checking the heart while Tomoe observed the surroundings keenly for danger. There was nothing abnormal in the surroundings but Tomoe was feeling a strong presence in this area even though it was quite faint, so she was in high alert.

While checking the heart, Kaya suddenly gasped in surprise. She had managed to get a little bit of the blood out of the heart and she immediately realised that this blood belonged to a vampire and a high ranking one at that. This was very surprising as a vampire of that calibre should be able to perfectly recover himself even if only his heart was remaining. But the owner of this heart was not showing any sign of recovery.

After finding out that this was actually the heart of a noble vampire and not of a monster, all the vampires present here felt like helping it out. Vampires were one of the most close knitted race of this world. So the Vampires willing to help an unknown vampire out was not surprising at all.

Elena and Tomoe saw no problems with this plan and started helping the vampires out. For the time being, Alisia proposed to excavate the heart and to clean it. There might be some factors here that were preventing the owner of the large heart from regenerating so she thought that moving the heart away might have some effect.

Turin turned into his big size and started to dig the heart out. This was the first time that Turin had shown his true dragon form to others and it made everyone to be impressed as Turin really looked majestic in his true dragon form. So with his help, it did not take a long time to get the heart out of the ground.

After moving the heart away from its location, everyone saw that there was a small room buried below the heart. It was not a house or something but just a small room, definitely not big enough for the owner of the heart to live. After discussing it among themselves, Tomoe decided to check it out. Elena was definitely the safest option but if she did everything all on her own then no one else would get to experience anything which was not a good thing. That was why most of the time, if the danger was not too much Elena never stopped anyone from doing what they wanted.

As everyone looked on, Tomoe quickly entered the small room and came out almost immediately. There was an old looking dairy in her hand. Tomoe told everyone that the whole room was completely empty other than this diary. So everyone got excited and opened it to see if this diary could give them some clues about the identity of the heart's owner.

After opening the diary, the script used here turned out to be something other than the normal common language. But Kaya and Alisia were able to recognise them and this script turned out to be a special script created to only be used by the high ranking noble vampires for private cause.

Even though Kaya and Alisia knew about this script, they were not very proficient in it. So reading the diary was impossible for them. Alisia told them that Grace knew how to read this script very well so it was decided that Turin would be going back and would send Grace here while he would be guarding their transport bird.

After Turin went back, Grace appeared in the valley in almost no time. It looked like she had really hurried here as her big boobs were shaking a little bit more as a sign of that. Then Alisia handed her the diary and after just taking a single look, Grace proudly said that this language was known to her and she was able to read this diary. Immediately everyone praised Grace and surrounded her while she started reading it.

The name of the diary owner was Costogolomo. He had not written much in the diary but just a brief description about how his day went. It looked like he was on some kind of mission and was also competing with someone. And from what little information was written in the diary, it looked like his mission was to find and retrieve a certain item.

Most of the diary just have very little description except for the last few pages. The ink used here to write was his own blood and he wrote quite a lot. He actually did not use a pen to write in this page but used his blood manipulation ability on his blood to write them down.

The item name that he was searching for was also found. And that item turned out to be "Goblet of Winter's End". As soon as the name of this item was heard, Alisia had a shocked look on her face. But even Grace was unfamiliar with this item so everyone looked at her for an explanation.

Alisia told everyone that she was studying many books to prepare for this journey and in one of the books, she had learnt about this Goblet of Winter's End. It was actually one of the family heirlooms of the Moronto family where they were currently going.

The cause of this the heart's owner's current situation was actually that same item. That Goblet had the ability to stop a vampire from utilising their regeneration abilities and the only way to stop that was to ask the current owner to forcefully stop that effect. Actually Costogolomo was the first to find it Goblet but there was a powerful counter attack from the goblet when he tried to take it and that was responsible for his situation. So at the end of the diary Costogolomo had requested for someone to find the Goblet to help him.

After thinking about it for some time, everyone decided to bring this heart with them to Duke Moronto and then would try to request him to stop this effect of the goblet.

With that plan in mind, everyone again got busy with carrying this massive heart.
