Shuri was looking at the beautiful Onee-san that suddenly saved her and she was thinking about her life so far.

Her mother and father were once trapped in a deadly situation and her mother had to use a special item that sacrificed her life force to get out of that. After that her mother, Jina only had at most 1 to 2 years to live.

But her father, Ross was able to find another special technique from which he could share his own life force with her through sexual activities. And while performing that special technique, her mother got pregnant with her.

But there was a miracle and the baby inside her mother's belly was able to generate life force on her own. And for that reason she was able to live for more time.

The amount of time Shuri was inside Jina's womb was also abnormal. She was there for 5 whole years just generating life force. Normally even with Ross' special technique Jina would not be able to live past 3 years but due to Shuri she was able to have a normal happy marriage life for 5 whole years.

After that she gave birth to Shuri and as soon as she lost her connection with her she died. But for Ross, Shuri was his benefactor who extended his wife's life. So he very lovingly started to nurture her.

But there was a special problem with Shuri. As she was born as a reserve of life force she had a higher lifespan than normal humans. If a regular person could live for 80 years she could live for 160 years. But as a side-effect of that she growth rate was slow.

As her mother died after giving birth to her, she already had a bad reputation in the village. Then, it was found out that the rate of her growth was also slow. And that let many villagers ridicule her. When she became about 8 years old she still looked like a 5 year old child. And the other children of the village would always laugh at her for that. That always made her sad. But as long as her loving father was with her, she could take on anything, she thought.

But the whole sky fell on her head when one day after going out to pick a beautiful flower that she had always liked her father didn't return home. Then after 2 agonizing days when she was getting almost insane in worry, she was suddenly thrown out of her house and was told that she killed her father by giving him bad luck.

Her mind was already at a mess and after hearing such vile accusations her wasn't able to keep silent and denied those accusations. But after that the other children of the village started throwing stones at her. At that time she was on the verge of breaking. She was even thinking about committing suicide to meet her father and mother again. But she was saved. Saved by this beautiful Onee-san who was now taking her somewhere.

She had no idea where she was going but it didn't matter to her right now. She was feeling something special. She thought that if this Onee-san took her to literal hell she wouldn't mind it and would go with her on her own. She felt absolute security when she was with her. That's why she went with her without resisting at all.

Elena took the little girl, Shuri's hand and teleported to a hill. There were beautiful flowers blooming on the hill. These were Solitica flowers and were Shuri's favourite. Elena then hugged Shuri and gently told her -

"This is the place your father last visited after disappearing. If you pray for your father here, I think that prayer will be able to reach him. If you want to tell your father something, then go ahead and do that."

Actually if Elena wanted she could resurrect her father but the Goddess of Duality and Elena's good friend Lya had requested Elena to refrain from using any resurrection techniques. In this world every one except the gods had only one life. As Lya was in charge of Life and Death she restricted the resurrection techniques. Actually only Elena's previous world had easy resurrection available as that world was on the verge of destruction. Otherwise resurrection techniques were quite rare even in high level worlds.

Shuri prayed there for quite a long time and then Elena again took her to a monster horde. This horde was responsible for Ross' death. She asked Shuri -

"These monsters were the ones who made your father disappear. Knowing about that, what do you wish to do ?"

Shuri gritted her small teeth and said -

"I want to kill them all."

"Then let me give you something."

Saying so Elena touched Shuri's forehead and granted her a special job {Contractual Summoner}. And then she created an ice elemental monster and made that her first contract. After this she could use this monster freely. This was one of the jobs that Elena could give and she had already taken permission for giving jobs from the World's Will and the Supreme Goddesses.

Elena knew that Shuri was a strong girl and she was actually burning with an intense desire for revenge. That's why she gave her that job and let her take the revenge by her own hand.

After the whole monster horde had disappeared, Elena asked Shuri what she wanted. Would she like to stay in the same village or a different one as now she didn't have anything to fear with her summon around. But Shuri hugged Elena tightly and requested to stay with her. After thinking for sometime Elena decided to take her to the capital with her for now. There she would let her choose what she wanted to do in the future.

So she took Shuri to the first village and introduced her to the caravan. Even tho the caravan was trying to be secretive, one extra little girl was not much of a problem. And how could they refuse any of Elena's requests. So, they easily agreed to let her join the caravan. Tom was very fond of little children as he had lost one of his grandsons when he was still very small. So, he liked to dote on small children whenever he had a chance. He became very fond of Shuri quickly.

Shuri was also very warmly received by the villagers. Ross was a well known figure in all the nearby villages so they knew about him and they expressed their condolences when they heard what happened to him. Shuri then spent the night with Elena and wake up the next day after having a very good sleep after two days not sleeping at all. And the caravan departed the village and went towards the capital.
