Elena, Tomoe and Atoge continued waiting in the inn to get a news about the meeting. After about two hours, they were informed by an inn staff member that the meeting had been set up and told them the location where it was going to take place.

Atoge wanted to meet with his son as soon as possible so even though there was still an hour left before the scheduled meeting time, he wanted to quickly reach the meeting location. The meeting location was a restaurant which was located very close to the inn so five minutes was more than enough to reach it. But still as Atoge was way too eager to meet his son, decided to reach the location to wait for his son to come.

The name of the restaurant where the meeting was going to take place was "Dining Corner" and a private room was booked here for the meeting. After telling the restaurant staff their names, all of them were brought into one of the VIP rooms. The person running this restaurant was actually a beastkin, so he was especially happy to see more people like him who had come to this continent and this city from a different continent.

Actually this person's race was Night Pantherkin. Among the Pantherkin tribes, they were one of the smallest. But they were extremely suited for the always dark atmosphere for the vampire continent so many of the Pantherkins had actually moved here. This Pantherkin man named Nicolas told them that there was even a village in the eastern side of the vampire continent which was populated by only Pantherkins.

While tasting the amazing exotic dishes of this restaurant, all three of them started to wait for Atoge's son. This restaurant mainly served dishes made for vampire pallets but Nicolas said that they also had a special menu for the people of other races. Elena and Tomoe were able to order food from exactly that menu.

The food was very good, so the wait of over half an hour did not feel bad. Just after Elena ordered another serving of "Sour and Chilli Fish", a man came inside this private room guided by another restaurant staff.

He looked exactly the same as the picture that Atoge had. He had a calm look on his face which immediately broke when he saw Atoge.

Oreon was busy with his work as a noble's advisor when he was suddenly told that the "Laughing Jester" was asking him for a meeting. Oreon was not happy after hearing it as this organisation currently was the biggest problem that was keeping his mind occupied.

When he took his position as the advisor of the baron, he had managed to harm the two other gangs quite badly. But this Laughing Jester gang had always been out of his reach as they were way too clever.

After the weakening of the other two gangs, this organisation had managed to gather even more power. So much so that, they had managed to surpass the other gangs and had managed to become the strongest gang of this city.

He had been planning to take this gang down by a notch for a long time. But the members of these gangs were not as bad as the other two so the citizens were somewhat fond of them. Not only that but they also provided valuable assistance to the baron if they were paid well. So even though Oreon hated it, he also had given this organisation various jobs and he was forced to admit that they were really good professionals when it came to their work.

That was the reason why he had no other way but to accept this meeting invitation. There was a high chance that he might need their help in the future, so making their relationship bad was not an option. So he stopped when he reached a good stopping point in his work and told his secretary to inform the gang that he was ready to attend the meeting.

While on his way to the restaurant where the meeting was going to take place, Oreon tried to think for what matter this gang might be asking to meet him but he was unable to think of any reason. So he decided to stop wasting his brain power on it. Instead he started to think about two reports where two ladies had beaten up the members of the Cursed Order. From the description given by his subordinates, these two looked to be stronger than even the A ranker who was sent here during the crisis, so if he could get their help, getting the control over the city back would not be a big deal anymore.

While thinking about this he reached the restaurant. He did not need to announce his name as the staff here knew him very well. He was then immediately escorted to the private room where the meeting was supposed to take place.

Before entering the room, Oreon hardened his mind for an intense negotiation with the cunning bastards of the Laughing Jester. But as soon as he entered the room, he immediately froze. That was because he saw someone very unexpected there. His father was sitting in the room alongside the two same women about whom he had been thinking all this time.

But staying stunned in front of the door for so long was not a good look for his dignified impression. So he returned back to his serious expression again and calmly entered the room. The staff who had escorted him here bowed and closed the door.

As soon as the door was closed, Oreon's expression immediately changed. He showed a somewhat angry and a little happy face and asked Atoge why he was here. Atoge knew that his son had a very explosive nature, so he did not beat around the bush and directly told him about the reason for his coming here.

Oreon was dumbstruck as soon as he heard that his mom was in her deathbed. This was something he had never expected to happen. Oreon could still remember when he made his decision to leave his house, how his mother had beaten him up. Oreon felt like that had happened just a little time ago. But it had already been hundreds of years and his energetic mom was not doing so well anymore.

Immediately Oreon's face became gloomy but just after a few minutes, his face again turned angry. Tomoe was impressed that his face could show so many different expressions. This time he was angry that his father had come to search for him even when his mother's condition was this terrible.

Just like this, the discussion between the father and the son continued. Elena's father was a very gentle person and he had always done everything that Elena told him to do. So seeing a relationship like this where the father and son butted head with one another was new for her. Tomoe also never had a father figure in her life and unlike Elena she was fine with it. Tomoe was perfectly content with her current family and she wanted to change nothing about it.

After the father-son bonding was over, Oreon turned to look toward Elena and Tomoe who were still busy enjoying the tasty food. Then he thanked them and with a very serious face told them that he had a request for them.
