Oreon wanted to return back to his hometown with his father. But before that he had many things to take care of for the baron ruling this city. The baron had taken good care of him so even though he was extremely worried about his mother's condition, just leaving everything and going back was impossible for him.

For that reason he wanted to ask Elena and Tomoe for some help. He had no other ways to solve the problem that the baron was facing instead of asking for help from someone with extremely powerful strength. For that he was even willing to empty his own savings. In his journey, Oreon had managed to accumulate a large amount of money, and now that he needed to go back to his hometown, he was willing to part with them if that could solve his current problem.

Tomoe and Elena did not immediately agree to the offer. At most they were willing to stay in the city for two more days. If his task needed them to stay here for more than that time, they were going to reject it. So first Elena asked him about what they actually needed to do.

Oreon's plan was very simple. He had already made all the preparations for the baron family to reach the same power level as the Cursed Order and the Blood Pact. But even then, the Laughing Jester would still be stronger than them. So without matching them in power, it was impossible for the baron to show his dominance.

But if Elena or just Tomoe showed her support for the baron, that would gain the baron a lot of prestige as they were S rankers who were respected by everyone in the world. So Tomoe and Elena needed to do nothing but to just show that they were supporting the baron to rule over the city.

This was a simple task but Tomoe and Elena were unwilling to accept it without meeting the baron himself. Hearing about this concern, Oreon immediately proposed them to meet with the baron to judge his character themselves. After working with the baron for so long, Oreon was sure that his character was not bad. He was still a bit naive because of lack of experience but he was a decent leader.

So after the meeting was over, all four of them decided to go to the Baron's mansion. Atoge was going to stay with his son for the time being. Oreon was also worried about his mother, so he wanted to complete all the needed preparations in the shortest period of time.

But as soon as the four of them reached a quiet part of the city on their way to the Baron's mansion, four individuals completely covered in black clothes suddenly attacked them. All of them had the strength of A rankers so this was a scary amount of power for this city.

Obviously with Tomoe and Elena there, this attack was a failure. But if they were not here, there was a very high chance that Oreon would have died in this attack. Tomoe did not kill these men as she wanted to interrogate them a little bit. So she did not go all out and just knocked all of them out.

That was not a good place to interrogate someone, so Atoge and Oreon carried those men and quickly went toward the Baron's mansion. Elena and Tomoe could have carried them but as men, the father and son pair would feel ashamed if they allowed the ladies to carry these dirty men after they saved their lives.

After reaching the Baron's mansion, Elena and Tomoe quickly started to interrogate these people. It turned out that they were from the Blood Pact gang and were actually 80 percent of the high end combat power that this gang had. They also knew that Elena and Tomoe were extremely powerful. That was the reason why all of their A rankers expected for the leader to participate in this ambush. But they had not expected that they were still underestimating these ladies.

Actually that was not their fault. They had not come in contact with Elena or Tomoe. So they had to buy information about them from the other two gangs. Those two gangs had not given them any false information but they had hidden a few truths which made Elena and Tomoe to look not too dangerous. This definitely was a trap that the members of the Blood Pact had fallen into. And now that they were captured, they had no future left for them.

After listening to the whole story, Elena got another plan in her mind and she told Oreon about it. Oreon was very impressed by the plan and immediately agreed to try it out. Elena's plan was simple. With most of their A rankers gone, the Blood Pact gang war finished. Even if the Baron family did not do anything to them, the other two gangs would not leave them alone.

So using this situation to their advantage, Elena suggested that the Blood Pact and the Baron family would join forces. This would immediately give the baron family more than enough power to sustain themselves and the Blood Pact gang would also not be completely destroyed. But Elena also told the leaders of the Blood Pact that they needed to get rid of all the bad apples before joining the baron family.

This was the only way how the Blood Pact was able to survive now. So without putting up much of a resistance, they agreed to this proposal. Later on, a secret meeting between the baron and the Blood Pact leader was held and they signed a blood contract and officially joined hands. Elena and Tomoe also met with the Baron and found him to be an extremely normal noble. He was not really outstanding in anything but he definitely was a good person.

Soon this cooperation was declared to the city and Tomoe also appeared as an S ranker to show her support. All the vile members of the Blood Pact were publicly executed by the baron family which made the citizens happy. Everything went extremely well and the baron for the first time in his life was able to get the control of the city back to his hands. But now the real hard job would start for him. He really wanted Oreon beside him in this situation but he knew how important his family was to Oreon. So he gave Oreon a long vacation to visit his hometown.

Oreon was also a good friend of the Baron, so he was also planning to come back. So the very next night, the father and son pair left the city. Elena and Tomoe also did not stay here anymore and started their journey toward the next danger zone. Now their final destination was not too far away.
