After leaving Katerina's mansion, Elena and Tomoe started to follow Nave toward the gates of the fourth area. Actually now that all the negotiations for the house were done, Nave should have returned back to her office. But she was planning to take this opportunity to spend some more time away from her job. But she was not planning to slack off and instead wanted to help Elena and Tomoe out a little bit.

Nave had always found Elena and Tomoe to be super cool but after seeing how insanely powerful Elena was, she had become a fangirl. In her whole life, Nave had never seen her friend Katerina struggling in a fight. Even though there were fights that she lost, she had never been helpless in those fights. This was the first time when Nave had seen her friend getting dominated this way.

Tomoe and Katerina were also going to have a fight when she would hand over the fight and Nave was definitely going to watch that fight too. Nave herself was not very strong but her mother was one of the strongest people of this and worked as a personal maid for the vampire queen herself. So she had seen many strong individuals and was extremely interested in seeing them in action.

So with her mother's connection, Nave was planning to help her new idol Elena a little bit. Normally people needed to send any letter to the vampire queen through a dedicated office. But as Nave's mother was the Queen's personal maid, she was able to directly hand her the latter. This was the shortcut that Nave was planning to use to help Elena and Tomoe.

Even Nave did not have the permission to enter the four gate and she could only cross it if her mother was with her. But she did have a special privilege that allowed her to enter the guard station of the fourth gate and sent her mother letters from there.

So now Nave was planning to send a letter explaining the situation to her mother and Elena and Tomoe's meeting request would be with the letter. This way Elena and Tomoe did not need to apply for a permit to enter the boring fourth gate and they would be able to send the letter while staying in the third gate's area.

This was very helpful for Elena and Tomoe so they decided to give Nave a warm party as thanks. It was clear that Nave really liked to stay in the wooden houses, so Elena was planning to invite her to stay with them for a few days.

When Elena told Nave about it, she was overjoyed. Not only she would be able to live in a beautiful wooden house, she would even be able to share the same roof as her idol. That was not an offer Nave could reject. At this moment Elena asked Nave the question that she had in her mind. Even though Katerina and Nave looked like good friends, why was she not able to stay in a wooden house.

Hearing this question, Nave became nervous for a little bit but soon tried to act nonchalant and said that Katerina was just being petty. But both Elena and Tomoe had noticed her slight nervousness so they understood that the situation was not as simple as it looked. So they decided to ask Katerina about this while not informing Nave.

While everyone was talking, they reached in front of the fourth gates. This gate did not look too majestic and the third gate that Elena and Tomoe had seen before was more extravagant than the fourth gate. The guards here were familiar with Nave so she was able to enter the guard station without any problem but the guards did stop Elena and Tomoe from entering. Even when Nave told the guards that she would be their guarantor, the guards were still unwilling to allow Elena and Tomoe in without any permit.

Nave was getting mad about this and almost started berating the guards. But Elena stopped her and told her that they would be waiting outside the gates and Nave could enter the gate and do what she needed to do. When Elena was trying to calm Nave down, one of the guards told them with an arrogant expression that the guard station was not a place where any random people could just stand around. So they basically did not want Elena and Tomoe to even wait in front of the guard station.

What they said was not really very wrong as having a huge group of people standing in front of the guard station would disrupt their work. Elena was able to understand that. But the way the guards said the words was extremely irritating and disrespectful. So much so that Tomoe had a few veins popping in her head by their behaviour and Nave was almost livid with anger.

These guards had always seen themselves as special. After they had started working here, they got a very high authority over most of the people who lived in the area of the third gate. So they developed a superiority complex and they wanted to show off their authority to others.

But unfortunately for them, they had this authority only throughout the duration of their working hours. But during this time, they were unable to go out and the people who normally visited the guard station most of the time had higher authority than them. So they were never able to show off at all.

That was the reason why when they saw two non vampires coming to them, they found this to be a great opportunity for them. All the influential people of the city were vampires so they were sure that these two ladies were no one special and definitely did not have higher authority than them. So they decided to target them to show off their authority to order people around.

These two people would not have done this if they were aware of Elena and Tomoe's identity as S rankers. As even though S rankers also needed to get a permit before entering this area, they were not someone who could be insulted by insignificant junior guards like them. So this time, they made a big big mistake.

Just as they were enjoying their superiority, a tremendous murderous aura washed over them. The person who had released the aura was surprisingly Nave. Even Tomoe was surprised by this aura as now the power that Nave was radiating was definitely in the S rank. But Tomoe was also sure that Nave's level was below 300 without any doubt.

Currently Nave's busy was burning in crimson flame. Her hair and eyes had also become red. But it was also clear that Nave's control over her power was very unstable and it was on the verge of going out of her control.

Just as Nave's flame was about to burn the two guards into ashes, Elena put her hand on Nave flame covered shoulder and the uncontrollable fire immediately became tame and those two guards were not killed.
