Just as Elena calmed Nave down and brought her fire under control, two people appeared in front of them. They came down from the sky and both were wearing clothing similar to the guards but of a better quality. Both of them were also S rankers which was very surprising for Tomoe.

Most of the cities did not even have a single S rank powerhouse even in the vampire continent where the average level of the residents was higher than other continents. But just this third part of the city, Tomoe had already come across three S rankers and had felt the presence of several more. Not only that both these two new S rankers and Katerina that they had met before, all belonged to the same organisation which was very unusual.

But Tomoe did not worry too much about this. This was the city where one of the vampire queens lived. So it made sense for this city to have quite a few S ranks. Still the number here was truly astonishing. If Tomoe had to guess, she would say that this city had at least 10 S rankers.

Seeing Elena controlling the fire, those two calmed down a little bit. Then they looked toward Nave who was now breathing heavily and the soldiers who had fallen on their butt and came to some kind of understanding. Then they looked at Tomoe and asked about what had happened here.

Tomoe told them how Nave brought them here to send her mother a letter and wanted to invite Elena and Tomoe in. But the guards stopped them so Elena and Tomoe agreed to wait outside. But they were not happy with even that and started to be rude toward them. Then Nave got angry on their behalf and this happened.

Hearing Tomoe's explanation, both of the men nodded their heads. They had not expected some of their guards to be acting like this. They decided to strictly punish them in order to make an example out of them. That's what they deserved for being such idiots. But now was the time for this and they looked at Elena and Nave.

After calming Nave down, Elena started to heal her. While doing so she also found out about the reason why Nave suddenly erupted with power equivalent to a S ranker. Actually if Elena had used any of her sensing skills on her, she would have immediately found out about this matter. But before this incident she never saw the need to use it on Nave, so even she was not aware of Nave having such a big secret.

Actually, Nave's soul had a being attached to it. This being did not have any consciousness and depending on Nave's emotion. Elena also saw that this being had a seal cast upon it. But as the power of the seal was not above its own, this seal was unable to completely prevent the being from going out of control.

Actually this seal was performing quite well. Without the presence of the seal, this spirit being would start reacting to even the most mundane fluctuations in Nave's emotion. This time it got out of control as Nave got angry too quickly. Elena immediately strengthened the seal while healing Nave so that Nave would have a better control over this spirit.

As the two other S rankers looked at her, Elena smiled at them and told them that everything was under control now. Hearing this they relaxed visibly and invited Elena and Tomoe to enter the guard station to have a talk.

After sitting down inside a large room, those two S rankers also introduced themselves. They held the same rank as Katerina and their names were James and Kyle. Currently Elena and Tomoe were talking with them in this room. As for Nave, she was getting a check up by a doctor in a nearby room.

James and Kyle were actually not surprised by this outburst that Nave just had. They knew about her situation and this incident was not rare. The spirit that was inside Nave went out of control quite often. But as Nave was a cheerful and a little clumsy girl, she never had any serious outbursts. For that reason, all the previous times that this spirit had gone out of control, it did not do much damage. Burning down a whole room was the worst that had happened before.

But as the spirit was a S rank being, it had the capability to do much greater damage. But so far, the seal cast by Nave's mother was doing a good job and the spirit was under control most of the time. But they had not expected that a cheerful girl like Nave would suddenly become so angry and the spirit would get out of control.

They also told Elena and Tomoe the reason why Nave had this spirit inside her. This news was not a secret and all of the high ranking people of the city knew about it. So it was perfectly fine for Elena and Tomoe to also know about it.

Nave's father, Artendil, was a Demigod rank powerhouse. He and Nave's mother Layla had been lovers since they were very weak. Layla had tried her best to keep up with Artendil but he was just way too talented. He was also ambitious so becoming more and more powerful was his main goal in life.

That was the reason when he was looked favorably by a god, he did not miss that chance and took the trial to become a Demigod. Demigods were not allowed to stay in the mortal world so he needed to move away from his wife. Even though Artendil was unwilling to stop in his quest for strength, he was still sad about this parting.

So before leaving, he decided to impregnate Layla and promised to wait for her to also reach the demigod rank. Nave was the sign of that promise. But after she was born, Layla noticed that Nave had a special power that was very dangerous for the surroundings. And that special power was the spirit that was living inside her.

Actually Artendil had a rare job called, Spirit summoner. This job was most suited for the Elvin race but even among them very few had this job. But even though Artendil was a vampire, he had this job and a great affinity with it. And his strongest spirit, which was able to reach above level 400 was also a fire spirit. So this spirit was most probably the inheritance that Nave had gotten from his demigod bloodline.

But Nave herself was not very strong and she was unable to control the spirit at all. For that reason Layla sealed the spirit away until Nave was able to become strong enough to control it. James also told Elena and Tomoe that they had already informed Layla about this incident and she might soon come here.

Just as James finished his sentence, an intense aura appeared before the guard station. From that it was clear that the owner of the aura was currently angry. Recognising this aura, James and Kyle again quickly went out to appease the owner of the aura, while Elena and Tomoe followed behind them with curiosity.
