After going through the gate, the first thing that completely surprised Tomoe was actually sunlight. It's been a long long time since she had last seen sunlight so after suddenly coming across it in the vampire queen's home, Tomoe was not ready for that and her eyes were dazzled by this. After a few moment, her eyes managed to adjust to the bright light and Tomoe opened her eyes again.

Then she looked around in amazement. From the outside, the building looked majestic but there was no sign of sunlight. But after coming in, the building actually looked very different. The building that Tomoe saw from outside was dark in colour and looked like a scary place. But the building she was now seeing had a pure white colour and it looked very beautiful.

Seeing an amazed Tomoe, Layla explained to her the whole house was covered by a powerful barrier which also had an illusion function. Because of this barrier, from outside this place looked like a dark mansion. And the sun that was inside the barrier was actually not the real sun but an artificial one that Marika had created.

All the vampire queens worshipped the vampire goddess but there was no restriction on them that stopped them from worshipping other deities. For that reason, Marika was also a devoted follower of Sol, the god of sun. For sun hating vampires, this was definitely a very weird choice but in this world, all the gods were in harmony. So Marika was free to worship Sol.

But there was a reason why Marika was worshiping the god of sun. She was born with a special skill that gave her a power boost when she was under sunlight. This was not a rare skill for most beings of this world as having skills that could boost stats in certain times of the day was very normal.

Marika also had many other skills so she was already quite powerful even without the support of this skill which was completely useless in the sunless vampire continent. But then on her journey, Marika had to visit the demon continent and that was the first time when she left the vampire continent.

That was also her first contact with the sun and the useless special skill of hers activated for the first time. Even though Marika knew that this skill would boost her in sunlight, she was not aware of the level of the boost. But this skill of hers turned out to be a broken one that would allow her to fight enemies even thirty levels stronger than her current self. Even though Marika was already a S ranker.

As Layla was explaining that tk Tomoe and Elena, suddenly three figures appeared before them. There was a girl with red hair and eyes. She was wearing a very extravagant dress and had many strong magical items on her body. One man and one woman were standing just beside her. The man had white hair and beard. He was wearing a butler suit showing his position in the family. The green haired lady beside him was also wearing a maid uniform just like Layla.

Seeing them, Layla quickly bowed to them and introduced everyone. The lady standing in the middle turned out to be the vampire queen and the two people behind her were the head butler and the head maid in charge of the household. The butler was called Peatheora and he was a powerful brawler of level 373. As for the head maid, she was called Nestoria and she was almost as strong as Layla at level 385.

As for the reason why they were here, as soon as Elena had entered, Marika was able to feel her unfathomable presence just like Layla. She was extremely curious about the sudden appearance of such a strong person so she immediately came out to check that. The maid and butler who had the duty to always be beside their master, followed behind her.

While Layla was introducing both of the sides, Marika did not speak at all and just looked at Elena with very serious eyes. Then when Layla was done with the introductions, she spoke for the first time in a disappointed tone.

Hearing this no one was surprised. Head maid Nestoria was specialised in sensing and investigation type skills and even she was unable to find anything on Elena. So even though the vampire queen was strong, her chance of getting any information on Elena was very low as at the end of the day, Marika had not reached the Demigod rank.

After saying this, Marika smiled a little and welcomed both Elena and Tomoe. Then she invited them to have some tea with her. Elena and Tomoe happily agreed to this invitation. Then Marika ordered Peatheora and Nestoria to prepare the best tea and snacks for the tea party and she herself escorted Elena and Tomoe to a sitting corner in her large garden. The maids and the butlers worked very quickly and in no time, all the preparations for the sudden tea party were done.

While sipping on the tea, Elena told Marika the reason why she was here. Marika was surprised by this as someone as strong as Elena should have many other ways to get this permit. The easiest would be to ask the temples as they also had the ability to give this permit and they were very accommodating to Demigods. But after talking with Elena, Marika understood that Elena was a bit unorthodox in many areas so it was in line with her nature.

So without further questioning, she wrote Elena a letter. This latter was the permit given directly by the Vampire Queen herself so with it, Elena was free to do business in any part of the vampire continent. This was the thing that was the target of Elena's trip and she had managed to get her hands on this.

After that Marika and Elena talked a little bit more and Marika told her a lot about the demon continent. Elena was interested about this place as she was planning to visit it next. Then after talking for some time, Elena and Tomoe bid goodbye to Marika and returned back to the house that they had booked.

Elena was planning to live in the city for one more month to get her new house and to help the ladies with the formation of a new trading company. Tomoe was also going to stay with her for this duration. Then it would be time for them to bid goodbye to one another.

So Elena's journey in the vampire continent was coming to an end.
