So for the next few days, Elena and Tomoe spent their time very leisurely. Most of the time, they either stayed inside their luxurious house or walked around the city. As the area beyond the third gate did not have many things for the tourists to see or do, so both of them also went to visit the lower areas which had more population and more things for them to enjoy.

Nave had started to join them almost every day after her work in the office was done. She did take one break after the incident but as Nave was feeling perfectly fine after the treatment, she again started working again very soon. Whenever she had time, Katerina also came to visit Elena and Tomoe for some time.

But on a special day, Elena and Tomoe came to Katerina's house that would be Elena's very soon. That was because Katerina was done with all the preparations for the handover of the house and she was going to hand it over to Elena on that day.

But in Katerina's mind, that was not the most important thing, instead she was looking forward to having a fight with Tomoe. After getting some lessons from Elena, she managed to improve quite a bit. So now she was confident that she would be able to put on a good performance.

Tomoe was also excited for this match as when Katerina and Elena were having their match, she had already noticed that Katerina was quite powerful. So this battle was definitely not going to be easy.

Not only that but most probably this was going to be the last chance that Tomoe would get to show off her improvement in front of Elena as their journey was soon coming to an end and both of them would need to go their separate ways. For that reason, Tomoe was planning to go all out from the very beginning.

Quite a few people had gathered in the stands to watch the match. Obviously Elena was there and she was joined by Nave, Zona and all the other ladies. After getting the permit Elena had brought all of them outside of her mini world. Now under Zona's leadership, they were working hard to establish their new trading company.

Even with Elena's funds and special permit, the ladies had a hard road ahead of them. They needed to build trust with their customers and partners while making sure to not get scammed by anyone. This was not something easy to do for novices like them who were just starting out. But all of them were doing their best and Elena was confident that they would be able to accomplish their goals very soon.

So with all the excited viewers ready, both of the fighters took to the stage. Both of them were dressed in their battle garb and looked majestic. Then Katerina took a martial arts posture with her gauntlets and Tomoe also took a sword drawing posture.

The battle started with Tomoe using her lightning speed to attack Katerina with her sword from many different sides. But even though Katerina was no match for Tomoe in terms of pure speed, she still managed to block, deflect and parry all the lightning fast sword slashes using both her hands and feet.

Then Katerina wanted to go into the offensive but this was not a turn based combat and Tomoe did not give her the opportunity. She continued her assault with more sword techniques and did not give Katerina any time to think about anything other than defending herself. If her focus faltered for even just a little bit, she might get cut into pieces.

This was a very level combat amongst two top class S rank powerhouses so most of the people were not able to follow what was happening with their eyes. So to help them out, Elena started sending direct commentary inside their mind. This way even though they were still unable to properly see what was happening in the battle, they were at least able to understand a little about it.

The battle continued for about half an hour before one of them made a mistake. And the person who did that was Katerina. She was an aggressive person so being on the back foot and only defending was very troublesome for her. So she got heated up and lost her concentration for a moment.

Tomoe tried to take this chance and managed to land her first solid blow on Katerina. But what replied to her was Katerina's fist that was coming toward her head at an unbelievable speed.

As soon as Katerina realised that she had made a mistake, she knew that someone as strong as Tomoe was definitely going to take advantage of that. So she gave up on defending herself and instead decided to use that moment to land an attack of her own on Tomoe. Vampires were more sturdy than elves because of their regeneration abilities, so Katerina was not worried about taking a few hits.

But that turned out to not be a good decision. She did manage to land a punch on Tomoe, but at the very last moment, Tomoe managed to jump back so the impact of the punch was lessened. Not only that but the wound that Tomoe had inflicted on Katerina was not healing at all.

Katerina had thought that Tomoe would have some tricks up her sleeve to deal with her innate healing but Katerina's healing was stronger than even most of the high ranking noble vampires so she was confident in dealing with anything that Tomoe had in store for her. But now it looked like Katerina was underestimating Tomoe.

But Katerina was still not worried. She cast a spell on her body and the wound that she had suffered started closing. It was still healing at a much slower speed than even a regular vampire but with enough time, she would definitely be able to recover.

Tomoe and Katerina again continued their battle after this exchange. This time, Katerina was able to react even less because of the wound that she had suffered. Tomoe was also a little bit hurt from the punch but that injury was minor and it did not affect her speed at all.

It was possible for Tomoe to use this advantageous situation to injure Katerina even more and to get a steady win. But that was not something Tomoe wanted. She was trying to show Elena her best ability and to impress her, so a long and steady victory was not the way.

So Tomoe decided to go for an all or nothing attack. She had no need to do this but she decided to do it nonetheless. She was going to use a brand new move that she created based on the supreme sword art that Elena had once shown her. This move would drain all her MP even if she failed to execute it but if she succeeded, it would definitely be her victory.

With the determination to show Elena that the journey so far that they had was very important to her, Tomoe performed her move "Thunder Striking in Blue Sky". The whole arena was immediately filled with the purple light of Tomoe's lightning.

So what would be the result of this battle ? Would Tomoe be able to perform this move properly ?
