Soon the airship safely landed on its designated landing spot and all the passengers were asked to go out of the ship. All the general passengers were lining up to get out one by one while VIPs like Elena were given a separate door to get out. Lampusa followed behind Elena toward that gate to go out too.

But before that she needed to greet the captain for one last time to thank him for all the help that he had provided during her job period. She had already handed the captain her resignation letter before the launch of the airship so now she was just there to say goodbye. Elena also followed behind her as both of them were planning to get down the plane together.

The captain was inside the main control room of the ship and after Lampusa asked the guard to tell him that she wanted to meet with him, he immediately came out. The captain was an elderly demon with goat-like horns but he did not look evil at all and instead looked like a kind old man.

Lampusa had prepared a gift for him but he had also prepared a wedding gift for Lampusa. So they exchanged those gifts with tearful eyes. The captain wanted to attend her marriage ceremony but he needed to leave for another trip in three days. So unfortunately he would not be able to attend it.

Many of the staff who were inside the main control room were also curious about why Lampusa suddenly called the captain so they came to listen. After learning that Lampusa would be leaving them, most of them were sad.the man who was trying to court her was immensely disappointed. While the ladies who disliked her were happy.

But as soon as they came to know that Lampusa was leaving because she was going to get married, they immediately felt like they had somehow lost. This made their mood to suddenly plummet. But after saying her goodbyes, Lampusa did not care about any of them at all and immediately left the ship with Elena.

After coming out of the ship, Lampusa's slightly sad mood improved quite a bit. It was clear that she was feeling very relaxed after coming back to get hometown. Then Lampusa took Elena to a nearby restaurant to give her a treat. She had already told Elena that she was going to give her a treat for all the help that Elena had given her and Elena had no reason to reject the treat.

So in that restaurant, which according to Lampusa was one of the best places to eat in this city, Elena had her very first taste of the demonic cuisine. This cuisine used a lot of species and herbs which Elena liked quite a bit but she also faced a problem regarding this type of cuisine.

In the restaurant, Elena did not order any dish and asked for Lampusa's recommendations. So Lampusa ordered all the dishes which were very famous among the demons. One such dish was called stir fried herb lanchos and this was exactly the dish Elena was having trouble with.

Lanchos was actually a type of insect so for Elena, the appearance of this dish was terrible. She had observed that insects were a common part of the demon's good habit and many people including Lampusa were eating various kinds of insects without batting an eye.

But for Elena, eating an insects was not easy. It was not her first time eating these buggers and even when she was in EARTH, she had tried some dishes which had snakes and insects in it. Those dishes were not terrible but they were also not good enough for Elena to eat them again.

As for the insects of the demon continent, after Elena ate one, she actually liked the taste quite a bit. Most probably as these insects had magic power inside them, they were quite tasty. But still, for Elena the visual beauty of the food was also important so she was not planning to eat these things for a second time in the future.

After having a good but slightly problematic meal, Elena decided to start searching for an inn. This was her first city of the demon Continent, so Elena was planning to buy a house in this city. But for that she would need some time in hand and she was planning to do that at a later date.

Lampusa did invite Elena to stay in her family home but Elena rejected her invitation. From Lampusa she had heard how much work it was to prepare for a marriage for an Illivic family. So Elena had no intention to increase their workload by free loading on them. So Elena and Lampusa separated after having the meal.

After Elena was alone, she started to walk around the market area of the city. She had already inquired Lampusa about the location of the best inns of the city so she was in no hurry to find an inn. So as she came across this large market on her way to one of the inns, she first decided to check it out.

The market here looked very similar to the market of other races except there were a few items that she had never seen before. As the current time was noon, the market was not very busy and Elena was able to take her time to explore it.

As Elena had not managed to do enough shopping in the Gamura island, she decided to splurge a little here. So Elena started a shopping spree. The very first thing that she bought were clothing. Just like the other continents, the demons also had a unique clothing style. Actually as the demons had many types of species and all of them dressed in a different way, they had many diverse choices in clothing.

So Elena bought quite a few types that looked good to her. And after clothing Elena focused her eyes on various unique ingredients that could only be found in the demon continent. She mostly looked for cooking ingredients but at the same time alchemical ingredients and rare minerals were also not neglected.

Because of this sudden shopping spree, when Elena finally booked a room in one of the luxurious inn, it was almost evening. After finding many new and exciting things, she got lost in them and forgot the time. That was why she was a bit late in finding her inn.

Actually after leaving in the vampire continent for quite a long time, Elena needed some time to adjust herself for the night and day cycle that did not exist there. So she decided to end her day and went to bed even though it was still quiet early.

But obviously she did not forget to have another good dinner meal in the same inn where she was staying. And this time, she made sure to not order anything that had insects in it. So her second food experience in the demon continent was better than the first one.

So that was how Elena's first day in the demon continent went.
