Even though Alessia's team got some news about the group they were after, they only managed to know that the group was becoming active again. Other than that they did not get any other information. Nina did try to find something more about them, but as the city where they were active in was not very close from here, she failed to get anything more.

So the very next day, they decided to leave the port city. Alessia was sure that after going to the city of Kamashi, which was the main base of the Cross of Ferocity, they would definitely be able to get some new information about this group there. This was also the city where the item in question was last seen.

Kamashi was located quite some distance away from the city of Hoxibenwal. Even with a fast carriage, one would need about a week to reach that city from here. But Elena, Alessia and others were planning to take the trip with their own feet as the feet of theirs were faster than any carriage. According to their plan, they would reach the city of Kamashi after two days of travelling.

After leaving the city, the Azure Legion started travelling at their fastest speed and Elena kept up with them. Nina had already researched the shortest route and they also did not encounter any monsters in that route. So they managed to cover a lot of distance during this phase of the journey.

Just as the sun was about the reach the middle of the sky, Nina asked everyone to stop. Then she told everyone to have their lunch here and to take a little break even though it was a little early for that. But she had her reason for suggesting this.

So far they had not encountered any monsters so the ladies had not wasted any time fighting them. But to stay on the shortest path, soon they would need to enter a danger zone called Nacromasia Wasteland. This place had a large amount of A rank monsters and was also extremely bad for travelling. There were also rumours of a S rank monster appearing here every now and then.

So after entering that location, all the members of the Azure Legion needed to be extremely cautious. For that reason, before entering this danger zone, Nina thought that it would be better for everyone to have some rest. Seeing how well Nina was handling the group as a scout, Elena was very impressed. Nina had not only become stronger but also had learnt a lot of team management skills in this short duration of time.

So as to show her appreciation, Elena decided to cook something special for Nina. She was also going to cook for everyone else but Nina would be getting a special treat from her. So as soon as the the break started, Elena got busy with cooking.

First Elena took out some bread filled with red bean paste and gave that to everyone as snacks. While all the ladies got busy devouring Elena's handmade red bean buns, Elena started to prepare her ingredients. She was planning to make a special meat stew with S rank beast meat and was planning to use fine veggies that she had gotten from Tiandi who was also a cooking enthusiast just like her.

Cooking a stew was fairly simple and quick. So after she let the stew to cook, she took out S rank bird eggs to make a special dish for Nina. As for what Elena was planning to make, it was something that was Nina's favourite, which was pudding.

Actually making pudding was a long process but with the help of magic, Elena could finish making it immediately. She controlled her spells very delicately to make sure that the pudding would have the perfect taste. Just like that, in less an an hour, Elena was done making all the food.

So she served the meat and vegetables stew alongside some super soft and fluffy white bread. Then she went to Nina and made her to seat on her lap. After that Elena feed her the pudding with her own hand. This was something very enviable for all the other girls and they all become determined to show Elena their good sides too. Rewards like this was just way too enticing.

After the comfy lunch break was over, Elena and the Azure Legion continued their journey. As they were now about the enter a dangerous area, everyone was alert with their weapons held in the hand.

They had their break in an area filled with grass and few trees around. But after just a few minutes of walking, they suddenly found themselves in the middle of a sandy land with no greenary in sight. The sudden transition of the area was very unsettling.

But as a S rank party, the Azure Legion had came across things more bizarre. So they did not mind this sudden change that much and continued their advance. Just after a few minutes since stepping feet in the wasteland, they finally started encountering monsters.

The first monster they faced were small monkeys which big round eyes. These monsters were not very strong level wise but they had a large number and a very strong debuff ability that could slow someone down. For that reason, most of the time, people coming to this place tried to avoid them as much as they could.

But that was not the case with the Azure Legion. Not only they did not avoid the monster, actually all the members went out of their way to hunt more of them. The reason for that was because, the large eyeballs of these monkey were a very valuable ingredients for some special magic items.

Shia was also training to design and make magic items and she would need quite a few of this monkey's eyes as ingredient for the item she has trying to create. That was the reason why she requested her team to hunt down some of these monkeys who were rare in most parts of the world but were abundant in this area.

After hunting a sufficient number of monkeys, the Azure Legion continued their journey. As they went deeper into the wasteland, they started to encounter more and more monsters.

At first, most of the monsters were only C or B rank but soon A rank monsters started appearing. With Alessia with them, even a large number of the A rank monsters were not a problem for the Azure Legion. So they continued their advance without stopping while being careful about a sudden attack from a S rank being.

This continued for the rest of the day and soon it was night. Nina had planned for the Azure Legion to leave the danger zone by this time but as the wasteland was even harder to traverse than expected, her plans had went off course. So they now needed to spend a night here, in the middle of the Wasteland.

None of the ladies minded that and quickly set up a camp. Elena again started cooking and the ladies were eagerly waiting for their big sister's delicious food. But suddenly a ferocious roar of a monster tore through the silent atmosphere of the night. As the ladies looked toward the source of the sound, a giant worm like monster with multiple mouths, eyeballs and tentacles appeared before everyone. This monster was extremely ugly and all the ladies got ready for a serious fight. That was because this monster was a S rank powerhouse.
