That was Elena's simple answer. Heart tools were not like simple weapons that you could share with others if the situation called for it. It was an important part of a person. Someone giving their heart tools to others was equivalent of someone ripping off one's heart and to give it to others.

As Elena was not born with her heart tool and had gotten it not too long ago, Ompenhyner had thought that she would not be as attached to her heart tool as the other inhabitants of this world. That was why he had asked her to lend him her heart tool.

In front of a surprised Ompenhyner, Lifua smiled derisively and spoke in a belittling tone -

"As you have never had a heart tool, you will never be able to understand our feeling about them. Their is a reason why we call all the people who had joined your guild Maniacs. Anyone who could give up on their heart tool are not right in the mind for us. So no matter how much you all try to change the perception of maniacs in this world, that will never happen. That's because we call them maniacs not with anger or pity but as straight fact."

Hearing their conversation Elena was able to guess a lot of things. What Lifua said might sound like she was trying to force her opinion or the majority's opinion on a group of people and even Elena would have thought so if she did not have a heart tool of her own. Even though she was not an inhabitant of this world, she could feel how insanely valuable a heart tool was to someone belonging to this world. So giving up on it was also quite extreme even in Elena's eyes.

After Lifua was done saying her part, the conversation came to a halt. Both Lifua and Ompenhyner were feeling a bit awkward. Now that it was clear that his proposal would not be accepted by Elena, Ompenhyner had no reason to be here. But Elena was not done eating and he was not able to leave the table when she was still in the middle of devouring the tasty treats of this cafe.

Lifua was also not feeling like eating the food served to her anymore. It was clear that Ompenhyner had no more goodwill left for them now that his request had been declined and Lifua's skin was not thick enough to still gorge herself with food that he would be paying for.

Obviously no matter how much Elena or Lifua ate, Ompenhyner would not be economically troubled with his immense wealth. But after his proposal was rejected directly with a blant no, Ompenhyner's mood became terrible and as soon the the thought came to his mind that he would spending a bunch of money and would be wasting his time that he could have spent doing his research for absolutely no reason, he started to get angrier and angrier.

Ompenhyner was born in a divine world belonging to the Truth Guild and both his mother and father were high ranking members of the guild. So wherever he went, he was always glazed by the people. So his skin was quite thin and he had not experienced much harshness in his journey to become a level 5000 powerhouse. That was why, even though the way Elena rejected him was not big deal, in Ompenhyner's mind he was deeply hurt by it.

As a researcher, most of his time was spent on studying or experimenting. He did not have much of a social presence and no one was there to comfort him during his rest. Probably because of all this reason, Ompenhyner had accumulated a lot of stress and while seeing Elena happily devouring plates after plates of food bought with his money, his mind snapped and fury welled up from the depths of his heart.

But before he could erupt, his eyes met with Elena's and his raging heart immediately went cold. As soon as their eyes met, Ompenhyner immediately had the feeling that if he did anything stupid right now, he would be dead before he could even move. This was a type of fear that he had never felt before. Due to this, his well crafted disguised failed and came undone.

Before Lifua's astonished eyes, Ompenhyner's appearance started to distort wildly. Soon she found herself looking at a figure made of darkness instead of the handsome dandy man. Just looking at the the current Ompenhyner was giving Lifua headache. She herself was a powerful person and was able to endure it without much trouble but if it was an ordinary person in her place, they would have gone mad after taking just a single look at this monstrous figure.

Then with a jolt Lifua realised that they were inside a busy cafe with many more people around. Immediately she was ready to evacuate the whole place and her pair of fans appeared in her hands. But then after looking around herself, she realised that the table where they were sitting was covered with a barrier and the people present in the cafe had not noticed anything that was happening on their table.

The source of this barrier was definitely the beautiful lady sitting beside her. She had no idea when Elena had put up the barrier but Lifua was grateful about this as without it, this whole place would have been in choas right now.

Only then Lifua was able to focus again on the creature before her. She was aware that this person was not from their world but she had no idea that the humanoid form that he was showing was not his real form. It looked like in reality, this man was a blob of extraordinary darkness which was harmful for ordinary people to even look at.

While Lifua was busy with these thoughts, Elena lessened her pressure on Ompenhyner and he was able to finally came back to his senses. Immediately after noticing that he was mistakenly revealed his true form, he immediately applied the disguise technique again and changed back to his previous dandy self. Before even Lifua had found Ompenhyner to be quite handsome but now, she was unable to look at him in the same way after learning what he actually was.

While both Lifua and Ompenhyner were not sure about what to do next, Elena calmly finished her last plate of food, called the cafe waitress, took the bill from her, paid the bill in full, praised the cafe, gave the waitress and the cook high amount of tips, held Lifua's hand and walked out of the cafe with her. Ompenhyner sat there in silence still a bit shaken from fear. It turned out that it was not Ompenhyner who was treating Elena and instead it was Elena who was treating Ompenhyner here in this cafe.

Lifua was still in a daze when she came out of the cafe with Elena. But after they were on the busy street again, she came back to her senses. Seeing this Elena smiled at her gently and seeing that smile, Lifua's chicks reddened. She was a mature woman and had never felt like this before. It looked like Elena's charm as the universal big sister was still going strong. Then Elena started to tell Lifua a little bit about what she saw just some time ago and what Ompenhyner actually was.
