If Elena wanted, she could have stopped the naked lady even before she could fuse with the Xenos core. But she did not do that. And the reason for that was quite simple. Corrupted Mountain Teanors were extremely powerful opponent and Elena wanted to test their strength for herself. Not only that but she also wanted to observe the effect of the Xenos Core with her own eyes.

That was the reason why Elena did not stop the people who were clearly responsible for this whole situation. But she had used a grand teleportation magic to bring all the non related people out of this area, so innocent would die here under her watch. She had also started working on a way to dismiss the effect the the corruption.

But the Corruption of the Xenos core was a very intricate process. Even though this transformation was unable to completely erase the previous existence of the transformed individual, reversing the process was not easy. Elena could do it with her Creation concept magic but she needed a bit more time to perfect this method.

While Elena was busy perfecting her corruption reversal technique, Lifua and the transformed woman were having an intense battle. Even though the lady had suddenly gained an immense amount of strength, her control of the strength was lackluster and Lifua was clearly dominating the battle.

After less than 50 exchanges in high speed, the transformed lady found herself in a dire situation with her right hand and left leg cut off. It was a quick and easy defeat for her and the lady was unwilling to believe it.

The Xenos core she had fused with was a rank 2 core. It was of the highest quality just after the rank 1 ones. So the amount of power boost this core should have given her was supposed to be insane. Strong enough to make her almost invincible in this world.

The lady had wholeheartedly believed it and had refined her body and the Xenos Core together using the power of someone she called the "Creator". With that she had gained powerful strength and had became invincible in this world. Or that was supposed to happen. But from the fact that she was almost dead but her opponent was doing perfectly fine, it was clear that she was nowhere near becoming an invincible powerhouse of this world.

But even in this terrible situation, this lady calmed down after just a little bit of panicking. She was fighting Lifua in order to buy some time and she had succeed in that task. Fusing with the Xenos Core did give her incredible strength but that was not the best aspect of this fusion. So what was it ? This lady was soon going to show Lifua that.

Just as Lifua was about to land her killing blow, suddenly she felt immense threat from her side and she was forced to jump back. The place where Lifua was just a moment ago, a claw covering in green lightning landed on that spot and destroyed that area thoroughly. If Lifua had not dodged in time, even if she had not died, she would still be badly injured.

The claw belonged to a majestic looking beast. It was already over 5 meters tall but now after getting effected by the Xenos Core, the size of this beast had grown slightly. It's eyes had turned into green colour and the whole body of the beast was covered in green coloured lightning.

Seeing this beast, Lifua heart went cold. This was the same corrupted Mountain Teanors that had almost killed her a few years ago. She was now stronger than that time but it looked like soon more corrupted Mountain Teanors would join the fight. So she had no confidence that she would be able to defeat them.

If she ran away now, she might be able to save her life. Then all the elders could gather together to destroy this Xenos core. But that would take a lot of time and in that time, millions of people who were in this zoo would die. As someone who had the duty and responsibility to guard the well being of the people of this world, she could not allow that to happen.

So with determination burning in her eyes, she got ready to fight even when the odds were not on her side. She had a plan in mind which could lessen this problem and that plan was to somehow kill the lady who had fused with the Xenos core. But even doing that would not be easy as it looked like this lady was capable of controlling the corrupted beasts. So the Teanor was trying to protect her.

This was not a good situation but Lifua could also take advantage of this. She could restrict the movement of the Teanor by attacking the lady as the beast was going to prioritise her protection over anything else. That way, she might be able to find a chance to land a lethal blow on the lady.

After Lifua started fighting, she was soon pleasantly surprised to find that this Teanor was slightly weaker than the one she was fought before. It was still a dangerous enemy who could kill her. But still Lifua was happy to see that the chance of her plan's success was greater now.

She had also noticed another thing. Even though it had been quite some time since she had started fighting this Teanor, the other two had still not shown up. Not only that but the other animals of this area who should also be corrupted had not shown up either. That was really very surprising to Lifua.

But before she could think more about this matter, she got a mental message from Elena telling her that she was taking care of rest of the monsters. So Lifua should just focus on her own battle. Elena also told her that she had evacuated all the people from this area, which was also a massive relief for Lifua.

After that, Lifua was able to focus more on the battle and her movements became more free and unpredictable. She danced around the battlefield with her twin fans in her hands. She looked extremely beautiful. But alas, there was no one except for Elena to appreciate this scene.

Elena watched over Lifua as she struggled against the mighty beast. She had already finished her own battle and now two other Mountain Teanors were snuggling up with her like common housecats. Elena was currently in a very good mood. These two Mountain Teanors had the strength of a level 4000 being and Elena had fought them with the power level of 1200.

But still she was worried that she would just end up killing these beaets as she still did not have a perfect control over her new boost against lower level lifeforms. She did have a solution to this which was to use her summons or to use creatures created with Creation magic who did not of share this buff with her. But still, Elena liked to fight on her own, so she really wanted to find a real solution to this.

This high level battle had been extremely useful for that task. With her level almost one fourth of the beast, she had not only managed to not kill the beasts in one shot, she had even managed to have a decently good fight. Obviously it ended in her victory and after that she used her newly developed technique to get rid of the corruption from the beasts.

As for the reason why Elena was not interfering with Lifua's fight, her reason was simple. It looked like Lifua had a trauma about her last encounter with this corrupted beast. So Elena was planning to use this opportunity to make her face the trauma again in order to get rid of it.

So would Lifua be able to triumph over this past trauma of hers ?
