There were three Dicovolve using spells non-stop. After Lux got trapped inside the maze for 10 seconds, Dic used one of his Trump Cards,  a pair of legendary magic items called doppelganger caster puppets.

They could take the form of its owner and could cast the same spell the owner could use. This magic item may look very strong but it had some major weaknesses like, the HP of the doppelgangers were very low so they could not take many hits. Other than that, they were also dependent on the main body for the supply of mana to cast spells.

But with the help of mana boosting pendant Dic wasn't much worried about mana cost. He also took her role in creating the barrier to protect all three of them while two doppelgangers were in charge of casting offensive spells.

This approach was successful in stopping Lux's momentum and gave Dic some breathing space. But Lux also wasn't without his own Trump Cards. As he felt that Dicovolve was getting cornered, he unhesitatingly used his Trump Card to take back the advantage again and to finish the fight as soon as possible.

His used the secret divine skill he cultivated for the past 20 years. It was also the reason why his level didn't increase at all this time. It was called [Sacrificial Offering: Descend of Divine Avatar].

After the light pillar vanished, there was a holo of light surrounding Lux's body. Now, with his boosted level and stats Lux easily destroyed the doppelgangers and cornered Dicovolve again within no time.

The disk in Dic's hand shined in a pale white light which was reminiscent of the moon. And after that a figure completely clad in silver coloured full-plate armour appeared. It was holding a lance in one hand and a small shield in the other hand. It was also giving off a light of divinity.

It was a level 399 Moon Knight Spirit. That disk was called {Moon Knight Summoning Token}. It was the supreme artifact given to her last king after he completed his trial. He gave it to Dic after he promised to take care of the younger generation of the kingdom and to educate and strengthen them with all his might.

But even tho the moon knight was super strong it was still not overwhelmingly stronger than Lux. As a divine summon of a High Goddess it's stats were little bit higher than Lux even tho he was one level higher. But still it was hard for it to defeat Lux who had a very good combat sense. Even tho that is the case, Lux actually had a time limit while the Moon Knight could stay here for as long as his mission was not completed.

Lux tried his best to somehow attack Dicovolve ignoring the moon knight but as the moon knight's mission was to protect Dicovolve, Lux was unsuccessful every time. He fought against the moon knight with his all and even went beyond his normal limits but still he was unable to shake it off.

As the knight had higher stats and quite high ranked skills he was able to counter all types of attacks by Lux. He was also feeling that the strain on his body was increasing with time. He would not be able to maintain the divine avatar form for long. But even tho he was still desperately attacking the moon knight, Lux still kept his cool and was waiting for a chance.

After a few moments the light on Lux's body started flickering. It looked like his boosted state would come to an end soon. Both the moon knight and Dicovolve relaxed a bit at this moment unconsciously. And at this exact moment, Lux burned his soul with another secret technique and suddenly pushed away the Moon Knight for a few 100 meters. Now there were no obstacles between Dicovolve and him. And Lux sent a mental message to Dicovolve -

"At that time you felt pride for a few moments as your reward was better than mine, right? So today I'm going to kill you with the same reward you looked down on. I had accumulated all my aura for the last 35 whole years. All the things I had done till now, none of those were my killing move. This is my real killing move. Now, DIE!!!"
