While coming out of the imperial palace, Elena was casually checking the Astral Link to see if something interesting was there and she came across information about an online auction that was going to start soon. Online auctions were not a rare thing and thousands such auctions took place everyday. So it was nothing special. But after reading about the auction a little bit, Elena found out that this auction was on a larger scale than regular auctions.

That made Elena interested so she decided to check out the product list. There was one product that caught her attention. This item was not among the most expensive products that would be sold in this auction because it was not a mechanical item that belonged to this world.

The item in question was an orb that looked like an eyeball. According to the description of the item, it was brought to this auction by an otherworlder explorer who had found this item in a ruin of a different divine grade world called BOLVERIA. This BOLVERIA world was one of the smallest Divine Grade worlds in terms of size but the race that inhabited this world was extremely powerful.

They looked completely different from most species of this universe and they had a completely unique power system that other races could not utilise. As this item was also a part of that same system, the people of this world would not be able to use this item for the function it had. So this orb could only became a part of a collecter's collection.

As for the reason why Elena was so interested in this item, that was because Elena had found a picture of this item in a book that belonged to the level 9000 plus man she had defeated. The forbidden ritual or whatever he was trying to do had taken some inspiration from the power system of this divine world called called BOLVERIA.

That was why he had a book describing many items from that world. And according to that book, this eye like orb in question was called "Gaze of Veria". By implanting this item on a living being, that living being would be able to use some racial abilities of the Cturris race who were the true inhabitants of the world called BOLVERIA. So basically this item could turn a person from a different race into half Cturris.

Obviously Elena had no intention to turning into a half Cturris herself. Instead she wanted to use this orb as a core to create a half Cturris being with her Creation concept. She also wanted to test out if she could make a half Cturris more complete in any way.

As this was not a very sought after item and most of the people were not aware of this item's function, Elena was hoping that she would be able to buy it for a cheap price. But as the auction progressed, Elena found that one another person beside herself was also targetting this item. If this continued, Elena was not sure if she would have enough money to buy it.

In most of the worlds that Elena had visited, she was never in need for money. But that was not the case for this world. Here she had limited funds and even that actually belonged to someone else. So Elena started think of a way to earn a decent some money in a short amount of time.

With her strength, even in this divine grade world, Elena would have no trouble earning a large sum. But that needed some time and the auction was going to end at most an hour or so. For that reason, Elena was able to think of only one method to get a large sum of cash quickly. And even though she liked brute force methods, her solution was not looting a bank. Instead she decided to borrow some money from someone rich.

The first person that came to her mind was the emperor. He should not have any problem giving Elena some money to borrow with his vast wealth. But as he represented a nation, Elena was not comfortable borrowing from him. It could mean that she was getting indebted to a nation which Elena did not want at all.

So the next best person that came to her mind was Shu Jianxin. He was a part of the Truth Guild but Elena was borrowing money from him in a personal capacity. So she had no reason to worry about getting indebted to the Truth Guild. Immediately Elena contacted him and asked for 20 million sunko. That amount was large but as Shu Jianxin had a salary of 10 million sunko a month, this amount was not a big deal to him.

With this extra fund, Elena was able to get her hands on the item for 31.5 million sunko. This amount was quite a bit higher than what she had expected to pay but with how valuable and rare this item was, she did not mind it. As for repaying the money, Elena was sure that they would be able to get a large sum after raiding the Li family. 32 million should not be a big deal to them.

But Elena also started to think about some ways to earn some money. This item was not that valuable and still she had such a hard time getting her hands on this. If she wanted to get the national treasure grade items, then she most probably had to loot a whole nation to afford that.

Elena would be getting her delivery of the Gaze of Veria after four days. But before that item could arrive, Shu Jianxin informed everyone that he was done with his preparations. Elena wanted to finish this task as soon as possible, so when Shu Jianxin said that he was ready, Elena also got ready and brought all the ladies to meet with him again.

Shu Jianxin had prepared a decent force. A battle was inevitable when they were targetting a large ducal family, so Shu Jianxin had asked quite a few powerful individuals to join him. He himself was as strong as a level 6000 powerhouse and there were two more people with him with similar level of strength. As for people with power level of 5000, Shu Jianxin had 11 of them.

Shu Jianxin had asked the girls to go to the backline for this battle. But as this was a fight with their world on the line, they did not just want to sit back and watch. And even though the ladies were not strong enough to fight the top combatants of the Li family, their were many people in level 2000 and 3000 whom they could fight and defeat. Actually those level 2000 and 3000 individuals were the main battle force. So even though they would be at a risk, they would not hold anyone back.

Then with all three sides joining together, they left the imperial palace secretly again to surround the Li family. The battle was about to start now.
