Elena turned around and found herself looking at a very muscular fair lady. She had a well toned body and she was extremely tall, above 2.5 meters. She had two large curved horns on her head and each of the horns had a different colour. One of the horn was red while the other one was purple. Her body was quite voluptuous and her her white hair suited her very well.

Elena quickly checked her out and became surprised in her heart. The identity of this woman was even more special than she was expecting. Even though she was a bit surprised in her heart, Elena did not show it in her expression and greeted her with a smile. Then she made a bag of coins to appear on her hands and handed it to the lady.

The white haired lady opened the bag with a smile and immediately after seeing what was inside, her smile froze for a second. Then she again calmed herself down and said -

"Haha, it looked like miss was not bragging at all. Oh my, where are my manners. Hello miss, I'm Escora, the owner of this inn and one of the counsilor from the city council. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Elena, an S rank adventurer. I want to stay in this city for some time. So I'm would like to book your supreme suite for a year for the time being. I think the bag that I gave you should have enough money to cover it."

Hearing that the small bag that was given to the owner was able to cover for a year's stay in the supreme suite, the cute receptionist girl almost fainted. Escora also smiled a bit messily after remembering the amount of money that she had seen in the bag. Then she composed himself again and said -

"Yes Miss, it will be more than enough. I will immediately tell someone to prepare your room. But as that room had not been used for several decades, it's not completely ready. But given an hour or so, we can definitely complete preparing the room. So we will be extremely glad if miss Elena could wait in the dining for that duration. We know that it is a presumptuous request on our part, so miss could also order anything she wants as a little token of our gratitude."

Elena did not reject the idea. Even though she had eaten quite a bit from the outside stalls, she was capable of devouring almost endlessly. And after hearing so much about how good the food of this inn was, she was definitely super intersted in checking it out.

After Elena had tasted all the dishes that this inn had to offer, one of the inn staff came to tell her that her suite was ready. The quality of food did not disappoint her at all and she was extremely satisfied with the items she was able to taste.

One of the servants of the inn escorted her to her room. It was located at the top floor of the inn. Actually the whole top floor was her room. After entering it Elena had to accept that this room definitely outshine any of the other rooms she had ever stayed in this world.

The inside of the room was actually expanded with spatial magic. Not only that but a special method had been used in the creation of this room so that it had turned into a semi dungeon. So this room that she booked was basically like a dungeon floor.

As for the environment of this floor, it was shallow forest. Their was a lake in the middle of the forest and her bed was floating above the lake. After getting closer to the lake, Elena noticed that this lake was not just a regular lake but it had hot water. But unlike a regular hot spring, the water here was not boiling at all and looked just like regular water.

Seeing this, Elena was impressed. She was also curious about what kind of preparations was done to this room before bringing her here. So she asked the servant who was with her about it.

The servant readily answered her and told her that this room was not cleaned regularly so quite a lot of weeds had grown here. The servants had to clean all the weeds before the arrival of the guest. Not only that but servants also needed to make sure that the forest had not grown haphazardly and looked aesthetically pleasing to the eye. That was not a simple work and even individuals of B rank and above needed to try hard in order to properly do this task.

Elena nodded her head after hearing this. This dungeon like suite room would completely astonished anyone but Elena was able to easily accept it as she was aware of the true identity of the owner lady. For someone like her, creating a place like this would not be too hard.

After that she dismissed the servant and took a long and calm soak in the hot water. This way all her fatigue washed away and Elena felt very relaxed. Her dinner was also delivered to her room and Elena enjoyed it while still soaking in the hot water. Then she dried herself off with magic, climbed to the bed and tucked herself in the comfortable embrace of the bed.

The next day, Elena ate breakfast in the dining of the inn and was ready to enter the Ikrovi Wasteland. When she was about the leave the inn, Escora suddenly showed up and asked Elena about her plans of the day. Elena did not hide anything and told Escora that she was planning to visit the Ikrovi Wasteland and would try to get as further in as possible.

Hearing that Escora's eyes shown for a moment. Anyone would have missed that but it did not escape Elena's notice. But even after noticing this, Elena did not say anything. Escora then clapped her hand and said -

"Amazing, I am also thinking of visiting the wastelands to get some ingredients for the kitchen. If miss Elena do not mind, we can visit the wasteland together. The Ikrovi Wasteland is very dangerous, so I think having two people will give us a better chance of survival. Don't you think so, miss Elena ?"

Seeing that Escora was trying to join her in the adventure, Elena found this to be quite interesting. So she decided to accept her offer and decided to go to the Wasteland together. While walking toward their destination Escora started to tell Elena various things about the Ikrovi Wasteland. As she was a native of this land and had been to the wasteland several times, she was very knowledgeable about this area. Elena also listened to all her words with interest.

That was how Elena's solo adventure to the Ikrovi Wasteland turned into a duo adventure. And who was actually Escora and what kind of secret was she hiding ?
