Hearing the call Elena looked toward the source of the voice and saw a gentle looking young lady. Her height was also quite large as she was actually a giant but unlike other giants that Elena had seen so far, she gave off a very calm aura. After leaving that area of the castle, Elena followed behind Nora who was taking her to the guest parlour to give her a room to stay. While doing so, they were also having a conversation. Elena had a lot of questions about how this castle operated and Nora was happy to answer her.

First Elena asked how the castle operated without any servants. She had been here for quite some time but had not seen even a single servant anywhere. To this inquiry, Nora said that all the duties of a servant was performed by her golems. So even without any servants, this place functioned perfectly well.

Higher level giants almost never eat and for lower level ones, they mostly devoured simple roasted meat. Some of them did not even use seasonings on the meat. It was truly barbaric.

But all the news that she got were not bad. Elena was also told that even though the regular giants did not eat that much food, that was not the case for the royal family. There were several members of the royal family who were fond of good food and drinks so they had created a unique cuisine with tens of thousands of years of research and experience.

The Valhalla was not an unreasonable realm but there were some unwritten rules there that should be followed. Or people might found themselves in major calamity. She also decided to treat Elena to their best quality food after learning that Elena was a foody. It turned out Karthe was the same. So Elena also decided to cook for her too which made Karthe very happy.

Just like that, Elena managed to settle down in the royal castle of the giants while waiting for her trial to start.
