At night, Karthe prepared a grand feast for Elena just as she had promised. Quite a few members of the giant royal family had mastered the art of cooking and they prepared thsi marvelous feast for her. Finally being able to enjoy the unique cuisine of the giants, Elena was very happy.

Another big thing happened during this grand feast, which was Elena's meeting with the current king of the gaints. He was Escora's father and a powerhouse of level 510. His skin was also dark with pure white hair. But his eyes and horns both were golden in colour.

After talking with him for some time, Elena immediately realised that he was a very intelligent man. With how muscular he looked, one might think that he was a powerful warrior but that was not the case. He was actually a very accomplished mage and his strongest stat was INT instead of STR. His name was Lambra.

He was not the only new family member that Elena got to meet during the feast. She also meet with several more people of the royal family. Most of them were in the S rank and only a few young ones had power level lower than that. This truly showed how immensely powerful the giants were if compared to any of the other races of this world.

After the feast was over, Lambra invited Elena to walk with him for some time. Hearing that Escora also tried to join them but was rejected by Lambra. It looked like he had something he wanted to discuss with Elena alone.

After Lambra and Elena walked together for some time while having small talk about insignificant subjects, soon they found themselves in front of a small but beautiful garden. In the night, the moonlight was shining on the garden and the white flowers planted there were shining because of that. This created a beautiful scenery that Elena enjoyed a lot.

While she stood silently at the garden and enjoyed the moment, Lambra spoke up. He started to tell Elena about a problem he was currently facing with his race.

The Giants had always been a combat loving race. So for thousands of years, their younger generations had never lacked the drive to improve and to become stronger. This was also the reason why they had managed to keep on being the guardian of the gates of Valhalla.

But the most recent generation of young blood were quite lazy. Obviously they still had quite a few hardworking individuals but the percentage of lazy people was quite high, almost 30 percent. This was something unbelievable for the giants. This had affected not only the regular giants but also the royal family. Several heirs of the royal family had stopped trying to master the shrinking skill to enter the main royal palace. They were satisfied with living in the outer estates.

This had never happened with a member of this royal family. Having no drive to become stronger was almost unheard of in his family. So this was troubling him too much but he was not sure how he could solve this problem.

As currently Elena was the only person present inside the barrier who was from the outside world, he wanted to ask for her some advice. He did not want to use force on them as that would not be useful. Without having their own ambition to become stronger, just forcing them would create no results.

After hearing about the trouble that the king was facing, Elena thought for some time. Then she told him that without meeting them, she would not be able to give him a proper answer.

Hearing this reply, the king became happy. It basically meant that she was willing to help him out. So he immediately thanked Elena and decided to take her to meet with those problematic young giants the next day.

After having a very comfortable sleep, Elena woke up and went to meet with the king immediately. He was waiting for her in the same garden where they met last night and he greeted Elena with a polite good morning and immediately took her to meet with those problematic young giants.

Elena was actually quite excited after getting this task. She had never done psychological counseling like this before so this was a brand new experience for her. That was why she was excited.

First Lambra took her to a simple looking outer house. Then by using her sensing skill, Elena found out that only a single giant was sleeping soundly in that house. As it was early in the morning, it made sense for someone identified as lazy to continue sleeping. So Elena told Lambra that she would came back to this boy later on.

After that Elena visited three more houses. But the other three were also sleeping. So Elena decided that she would come back to check on them later, after having her breakfast.

Hearing this proposal, Lambra immediately nodded his head and took Elena to the dining. There Elena found herself in front of another feast. Seeing an excited Elena, Lambra smiled confidently and said -

"The last night's feast was planned by Karthe and had her favourite dishes. But this breakfast was planned by me. So I'm sure that lady Elena would enjoy it more."

Hearing that Elena became even more excited. And just as Lambra had said, all the dishes that were served in the breakfast were different from what she had last night. Lambra also told Elena that they had many more dishes in their arsenal and Elena could look forward to tasting new and exciting things everyday.

After the sumptuous breakfast was over, Elena once again visited the problem children. As she had a lot of dishes to taste and she liked to take her time while eating new and good food, quite a lot of time had passed during she was having her breakfast. Now it was just a few hours before the mid-day, so all the giants should be awake by now.

But after reaching the first person, Elena found that he was still sleeping. This surprised her and she immediately scanned all the other giants. They all also turned out to be sleeping still now. Elena found that to be abnormal as they were the only once who were still sleeping in the whole castle.

So Elena decided to use her powerful sensing skill to thoroughly analyse them. She had not done that previously as she was trying to solve this psychological problem by having a conversation with them but it looked like this matter was not completely psychological.

After her senses thoroughly checked the giants, she was soon able to find the source of this trouble. This thing was hiding in the heart of the sleeping giants. This thing had also perfectly covered itself with the aura of the host, so without a keen search, it was hard to detect them. As for what it was, it was some kind of artificial parasite. This thing was not a lifeform created through the use of life concept magic that Elena was an expert of and instead it was created with the use of some kind of special skill. Elena guessed that these parasites were actually transformed body parts of a person.

Elena could have used her broken omniscient ability to find out the source. But as the life of the infected people were not in any danger, Elena decided to take it slow and deal with this problem like an investigator.

So after finding out about it, Elena went to meet with Lambra again to inform him about this new information that she had managed to find out.
