After completing her visit to the academy Elena returned to her house. Even tho Elena said that Vista had been doing nothing at home it was not actually true. She was quite busy managing all the members of her species inside Elena's new world. She was their queen and as a queen she had her responsibilities.
Even tho she could create more individuals of her species who could be specialised in management, as a ruler she had to be the person who made the final decisions. She wasn't sure if she would like to teach children which would basically be like playing with babies for her, so she asked Elena that she would need to think a bit about it.
Elena gave her the suggestion because when Shuri would join the academy that time Vista might feel lonely. So she didn't mind if she decided not to become a teacher. After returning, she was still thinking about the steps she would need to take if she wanted to make the academy a better place. She didn't plan to turn it into something super amazing, which she could actually do if she wanted and doing that would actually be easier for someone like her. But she just wanted to make the place a little bit better.
In her life she had taught many so she had quite a lot of experience as an instructor. But she had never joined an organisation to manage that. And her role in the academy was mostly to manage the place instead of being an instructor there.
But she did have some reference she could use both from her homeworld and her previous world. EARTH had an excellent education system even tho there were a lot of problems with it. And TIRTANYA had also created several academy-like structures to train individuals and resist the invasion. Even tho Elena had never joined any such organisations she did have some companions from those places so she knew quite a bit about their structure.
...
The adventurer guild of the capital was in an uproar. The reason behind that was because from the headquarters of the adventurer guild a notice had come just recently. It was a notice stating that one of the adventurers from the capital is eligible for taking the S rank promotion exam. A guild worker had mistakenly leaked this news to other adventurers and that was why the guild was in an uproar.
The adventurer in question was obviously Elena. When she heard about this news from a guild messenger she was not surprised. Her relation with the capital adventurer guild was not bad but it wasn't good either.
...
After helping the merchants to leave this country, Elena targeted the merchant's guild of the capital. She had already sent some instructions to Margrave Theodor and gave him the duty to completely destroy the recent members of the higher ups in the branch of Rin.
As Elena pseudo-servant and fanatical believer Theodor quickly implemented what Elena told him and due to that the higher ups of the merchant's guild in the city of Rin were in deep trouble. The possibility of all the current higher ups losing all their positions and becoming penniless was very high. Elena was a very kind person but at the same time she was also ruthless. She had already investigated that all the higher ups from Rin were responsible for this plan and that was why she targeted the whole guild there.
As for the capital's merchant's guild, after investing, she found out that only one faction inside the guild was responsible for this mess. The capital's merchant's guild was larger than Rin's so it had quite a lot of factions. The faction that targeted the S class materials was the second largest one. And she decided to take care of this on her own.
Obviously two easy solutions for her would be to use the goddess' influence or to use pure brute force to destroy this little faction. But Elena wanted to use her brains this time as always using brawn was not a good thing.
First, she collected information mostly about what was the main income source for the merchant's guild, or who were their partners in the capital. After collecting that information she again collected more information about the products and the partner. Elena had experienced that information was the most important thing if you wanted to face off against someone. An unknown enemy was scarier than a strong enemy.
Among the items which were most important for this particular faction, the thing which was at the top of the list was monster materials. And next would be weapons and potions. For this reason this faction also had a very good relationship with the guildmaster of the adventurer guild.
To stop their market firstly Elena gave good quality but cheap weapons to their rivals with the excuse of being a mastersmith and not caring about money. Next she opened a shop herself and made a broke but talented alchemist the shopkeeper there. She also took her in as an alchemy apprentice. And through that shop she started selling not only cheap but also rare potions which were very expensive but were still selling like Hotcakes.
And finally she gave the same mission as she did in Rin about buying living weak monsters with high prices but this time she was also buying high-level monster parts too and the price was almost 50% higher than the market. That made it so that even the guild had no choice but to sell the monster parts to Elena as that would be more profitable for the adventurer. The guildmaster obviously tried to cancel the mission but as an A ranker she had special privileges so he wasn't able to.
This is how she completely cut off the income line for this faction and as for the nobles supporting them, most of them were the nobles who were supporting the Ion family. After getting the warning from Elena and losing some of their strongest combatants, they became very worried about Elena's strength and removed their support for this faction. The other nobles who still supported them were all visited by some insanely strong bandits who didn't take their everything or kill anyone but just gave them a little warning. After that they all stopped their support like the good politician they were.
Those bandits were actually Elena creations and they were not very strong only level 300. There were about 5 of them and after their mission was over instead of destroying them, she sent them to various countries to settle and make preparations for her visit.
Like this the factions condition became dire in no time and Elena didn't have to do anything after that. Some different factions took action and started to harass them. As a last resort they asked for adventurer guild master's help to destroy the alchemy shop and to teach Elena a lesson. He sent 3 A rankers who were close to him to do just that.
But the next day he woke up with three half-dead adventurers lying inside his bedroom and his bed completely filled with cuts except the place where he slept. This was enough for him to have nightmares for life and she also stopped supporting this faction instantly and also sent several apology letters to Elena.
And that was how this particular faction of the merchant's guild was completely destroyed.
...
So after getting summoned for this matter to the adventurer guild, Elena smiled slightly and left the house to meet this guildmaster who was very, very, VERY scared of her.
