After coming out of the castle of the vampire queen, Elena became ready to take care of the last trial. This dream realm trial had been a very positive experience for her. The first few rounds were somewhat lackluster but the later half had managed to completely satisfy her.

The main thing that Elena absolutely loved about this trial was the knowledge about various famous parts of Valhalla. As Elena was going to go there soon, she was looking forward to visiting those places in real life.

After thinking about this and getting excited Elena decided that it was time for her to take action and to finish the trial. With that in mind, she went to meet Raguel again and asked him to come with her.

Raguel had gotten an order from his queen that he needed to listen to anything that Elena said. So when Elena asked him to come with her, he agreed without a second thought.

Following behind Elena, Raguel started to travel over the sea. After travelling for quite some time, both of them were about to leave the range of night descent created by the the divine beast XuanYuan.

Obviously as a demigod rank powerhouse, Raguel was more than capable enough to stay perfectly fine even in sunlight. But still, this was not a pleasant experience for him as a vampire. So he could not help but ask Elena about their destination.

Hearing the question, Elena simply told her that they were going to the lair of the Xecsis. Even though Elena said this in a very light tone, Raguel was extremely surprised by this revelation.

The vampires of the city of Osiel were quite powerful and talented. But even they had not managed to find the lair of the Xecsis with their best effort. But this beautiful lady had managed to do just that in such a short amount of time. Raguel was very impressed and was trying to estimate how insanely powerful this mysterious lady actually was.

After leaving the area of night, Elena and Raguel did not need to travel for long. Soon Elena stopped before a completely normal part of the ocean and told Raguel that they had reached their destination.

Raguel looked all around him but was unable to find anything but endless sea. But he knew that someone like Elena would not be joking with him. So with a lot of curiosity, he asked Elena where the lair was. At was same time, Raguel also got ready to fight.

Elena smiled a bit seeing this and told him to not get over excited. Then she dived into the ocean and told Raguel to follow her. After going a bit deeper, Elena came across an underwater cave. Then she entered the cave and Raguel followed behind her.

After going deeper inside the cave, Elena and Raguel came across a dimensional portal. Seeing this, Raguel widened his eyes as this portal was actually an entrance of a dungeon. A very well hidden dungeon.

Raguel had lived a long life and during a phase of that long life of his, he had researched various kinds of dungeons. From those researches, he was able to detect that this dungeon was not a natural or a god made one. Instead, this dungeon was an artificial dungeon created by a demigod rank powerhouse.

Elena patted the surprised Raguel on his back and told him to enter the dungeon. Raguel nodded his head with a very determined look on his face, he entered the dungeon entrance portal. Elena also followed right behind him.

As this artificial dungeon was the head quarters of the enemy side, Raguel was expecting to have a tough battle as soon as he entered it. But even after exploring the dungeon for quite some time, Raguel did not find even a single dungeon monster. This again was very bewildering to him but as Elena did not look worried about this situation, Raguel also got rid of his worries and silently followed behind her.

Soon, they reached in front of a door. So far, this dungeon had been extremely boring with just white walls and nothing else. So Raguel was hoping that, behind this door, there would at least be a powerful boss monster. Raguel looked like a handsome and cool man but actually he was quite a muscle headed person.

As Elena opened the door, the scene of large lake came into view. The water of the lake was black in colour and it has several white organisms swiming in it. From the distance, this lake looked quite beautiful, like a starry night sky.

Other than the lake, there was nothing else in this place, which disappointed Raguel a bit. But there was another person present here who became the centre of attention.

This person was a Xecsis but looked a very different from other Xecsises. He also had a wolf or dog like head but it was very close to the face of a human. Only his ears and nose was like that of a wolf. His body was also mostly like a human's and had regular fingers instead of tentacles. But he also had a thin and weak looking body just like the other Xecsises.

Currently, he was shaking in fear with drops of tears appearing at the corners of his eyes. He looked so pitiful that Raguel felt bad for him even though this person was his enemy.

Just as Raguel was about to say something, Elena stopped him. From this boy's condition, Elena guessed that if Raguel spoke to him, he would just become more nervous.

So Elena approached him slowly and started to talk with him about various topics. At first, he was extremely scared and did not replied at all but with Elena's non stop efforts, soon he started to engage. Then after about an hour, he was seen chatting with Elena with a happy grin on his face.

This boy's name was Shu and he was born with a special skill. That skill allowed him to create a dungeon and inside the dungeon, he was the supreme king. Among the Xecsis, he was immediately made to be a Divine Blessed Child and was given the heavy responsibility to lead his very destitute race to greatness.

But Shu was very young and without having the chance to interact with many people with his special position, his mental age never became mature. But with his wish to do something great for his race, Shu did manage to create a miraculous dungeon structure which was the "Lake of Revival".

With the Lake of Revival the Xecsis lost their fear of death. They had never been brave enough to say anything to the powerful vampire race who were somewhat similar to them but after getting emboldened by their immortality, they decided to ask the vampires to give them a place to live under the eternal night.

So far everything was looking well for the Xecsis. But when the vampire queen demanded their subordination, something snapped inside the Xecsises. This was actually the innate loyalty that a dungeon being had toward their dungeon lord. With that loyalty at maximum, the Xecsises became enraged with the suggestion of betraying their dungeon lord and launched this all out war.

So this was the reason behind the insane hostility that the Xecsis had toward the vampire. Alongside this reason, obviously the suppressed jealously that the Xecsises had toward the vampires became the spark that lit the fire of this all out war.

So now that the reason of this war became clear, would Elena be able to stop it ?
