After entering inside the Margrave's office Elena woke the Margrave up. She didn't want to waste any time so she immediately used the soul resonance of Celestial Mystic Fox and controlled the mind of the margrave. Then she started asking him questions mostly about the bandit group.

From this little session she found out that the margrave knew a lot about the bandits and he had tried to get rid of them many times before, sometimes by attacking from the front and other times by attacking from the darkness. But the gang genuinely had a very strong foundation and were able to fend off Margrave's efforts every time.

Not only did they have a lot of members in the group, quite a high percentage of them were quite strong too. They also had a very stable command structure so even if the Margrave could manage to kill a few of the leaders, they could get back on their feet pretty soon.

But most importantly, they had the support of the Danclesiv kingdom, who had supplied them with an insane amount of military needed magic items. All these factors together made the situation Unsolvable for the Margrave.

But none of these were a problem for Elena so she didn't care about these information. What she wanted to know was the true nature of this "Deadly Plague" and after asking many questions she became sure that they were just a bunch of greedy bandits who didn't care for anything that was not related to them earning profits. After she had completely gotten all the information she left the mansion. Now it was finally time for the super duper fun filled bandit hunt.

Song Yuan was a mercenary who came from a faraway nation of the Profound Tang kingdom. He came to the Danclesiv kingdom because he heard that they were a nation mainly dependent on war for survival so it was like a holy ground for mercenaries like him who took pleasure in slaughter and carnage.

After fighting for the kingdom in several harsh battlefields he was able to gain a considerable amount of credits and that time he was scouted by a kingdom special agent. The Danclesiv kingdom was planning to create a bandits group to gather information from the inside of the Myrilia Kingdom and after looking at Song Yuan's profile he was judged to have the best ability to lead that group.

After learning about it from the agent he accepted it without much objection as he was kinda getting bored of wars and he just wanted to free his mind by doing whatever he wanted as a bandit. So he took 3,000 Danclesivian soldiers and entered the border as bandits. He had good leadership skills and charisma so he was able to recruit a lot of individuals who were dissatisfied with the Margrave's rule. So in only three years he was able to gather a strong force of over 10,000 becoming the leader of an ultra large sized bandit group.

After becoming a bandit he found out that he enjoyed doing the work of a bandit a lot more than working as a mercenary. With that in mind today too he was having a very fun time gang-rapping innocent village girls with some of his men and having drinks. While he was in the middle of taking one of the girls in her anal he heard a loud noise.

He didn't mind that noise at first as those sorts of noises were not rare here. But soon he heard several noises of the same kind so it became hard for him to ignore that. So he told 5 of his men to stop the debouchery and to go out to know what was happening. Soon those men returned with a look of horror on their faces.

They told Song Yuan that a beast tamer / mage was targeting their base. Song Yuan was not very scared of this intruder as even tho beast tamers were rare he had seen some of them and they weren't too strong themselves so by targeting the tamer it was quite easy to deal with a beast tamer. A mage was more troublesome but he also had quite a lot of mages in his group so it should not be a problem.

But still he was feeling some kind of foreboding so he stopped the activity and went out to take command himself. After coming to the observation deck of the fortress he became stunned by the view.

It was not because the view of the barren mountains suddenly became spectacular but because he found out that one of the mountain peaks had completely vanished. And after he was somehow able to digest that scene he saw an army of more than 20,000 monsters attacking one of his remaining sub-strongholds. Two of the strongholds had already fallen. One was erased from existence alongside the peak it was on and the other one was destroyed by the horde of monsters.

He quickly ordered his subordinates to take out the military needed magic items and to use them without holding anything back. While his subordinates were getting busy taking out the mentioned magic item Song Yuan saw an unbelievable scene.

He saw that a giant boulder suddenly appeared above one of the strongholds and completely crushed the place. This destroyed another one of the sub-strongholds instantly. Song Yuan used a magic item of farsight and was able to see an extremely beautiful lady flying in the sky. She was also responsible for the magic that created the boulder. He felt that lady should be quite strong so even tho she was divinely beautiful he still decided to kill her as soon as possible. He used a prized magic item of his for this reason too.

That magic item had the effect of killing any being lower than level 300 instantly. It could only be used when the user could see the target and it needed 10 days of cooldown time for next use. But the item failed to kill Elena and from that he understood that a troublesome enemy of S rank had arrived.

As Elena was viewing the situation in the ground from the sky she felt someone trying to use a sudden death spell on her. But the level of her spell was very low so she was able to resist it completely without the assistance of any skill. She traced the signature of the magic wavelength and found that a man who looked to be about 35-37 was the one who had cast the spell but he didn't look like a mage.

After analysing him she found out that he was actually the big bad leader of this group and he didn't cast the spell himself but had used a rare magic item to do that. While she was looking at the main stronghold, her little monster group was able to destroy another sub-stronghold making it the fourth one to fall.

She didn't want to waste anymore time on the sub-strongholds so she left one for her monster gang and she cast two spells {Heavenly Thunder of Redemption} and {Frozen Blizzard} to destroy the remaining two sub-strongholds.

She was also using the same monsters to collect all the valuables from the strongholds and after the last one fell in the hands of the monsters Elena finally set her sight on her main one. Song Yuan had already tightened the defence of the main fortress and all the military needed magic items were also ready. He even gave up on the sub-strongholds to focus on the main.

The final battle between Elena and "Deadly Plague" was about to begin.
