The party started with the priestesses bringing in a lot of foods. The first half of the party would not be graced by the presence of the Shrine Maiden. This would also be the part where the main drama would take place.

No one would do something like this in the second half. That was because no one wanted to bring something worthless like this before the esteemed Shrine Maiden. So Elena and Kizuna did not need to wait for too long before the confrontation between the two merchants and the corrupted officials started.

In this party, the corrupted officials were supposed to finalize the date and amount of the Thunder Jade that they were going to deliver. But now with no jade in their hands, they all had no idea how they should buy more time.

As for the merchants, their plan was to expose the evil deeds of the officials before the buyer and the other high ranking people present here. That way even if the buyer was already aware of the evil methods that the officials were using and had no problems with it, they would still be forced to side with the merchants for the sake of their face.

Soon a dark skinned lady with purple hair took the centre stage and arrested all the officials. She was a high ranking member of the law enforcement division of the Inazuyan Archipelago and with her involvement, the punishment for these officials would definitely be terrible.

The merchants were also able to make a deal with the buyer and not only him but a few other rich businessmen also showed interest in it. It was a very good thing for the merchants.

There were not many twists and turns in this drama but still both Elena and Kizuna enjoyed it. Sometimes a simple and straightforward victory for the good side was also a very enjoyable thing.

As the first half of the party came to an end, soon it was time for the second half. In this half, the shrine maiden herself was going to participate so the excitement of all the invited guests were off the charts. Elena was the same and she was also looking forward to seeing one of the real shrine maidens for the first time.

Soon with three high ranking priestesses leading the way, the shrine Maiden came to the hall. Seeing the small structure of the Shrine Maiden, Elena was immediately surprised. Then she smiled a little to see this kind of coincidence.

The shrine maiden here was none other than the person whom Elena had defeated in the dream realm. Elena was planning to meet with her by asking the Shrine Maiden she was going to meet here but she had not expected to meet her so easily.

Elena even expected her to be a retired Shrine Maiden as the giant elder had seen her many years ago. But from the conversation happening around her, Elena learnt that the Shrine Maiden Kitsune was one of the oldest among the active Shrine Maiden, so it looked like she was really very very old. Even though she looked like a little girl.

Even so many years ago, she was strong enough to be almost invincible below the gods, so Elena was curious about if she had become even stronger now or not. With someone like her in the island, no matter how many evil organisation try to harm the Inazuyan Archipelago, they would never be successful.

The Shrine Maiden did not gave any speeches but just calmly sat down on the main seat. But she did listened to the things that the invitees had to say to her and replied through the high prestresses.

Soon it was Elena and Kizuna's turn to speak with her. Kizuna was actually blessed by her, so she already had a close relationship with Kitsune. So she just lightly greeted her and did not say much.

As for Elena, she send a mental message to the shrine maiden telling her the name of the giant elder. Hearing the name, the Shrine Maiden looked surprised for a moment and then send a mental massage back and asked Elena to meet with her privately after the party was over. Her voice was sweet like a child just as Elena had expected. She also gladly agreed to this meeting.

After the conservation session with the Shrine Maiden was over, there were few cultural programmes that everyone enjoyed including the shrine maiden. Then another round of amazing food was sent in which was a heaven sent gift for Elena.

Then the Shrine Maiden gifted all the invitees with a bottle of special sake that was created with rice planted by the shrine maiden herself. This was actually the main highlight of the party for many and they all cheerfully thanked the shrine maiden for her kindness and generosity. After that, finally the party was over.

But Elena still did not leave the venue as next, one of the high priestesses who was with the Shrine Maiden came to Elena and asked her to come with her to meet with the esteemed Shrine Maiden. Elena was already aware of this arrangement so she followed after her without saying anything.

Kizuna was extremely curious about why the Shrine Maiden was meeting Elena in private even though she was an introverted person. So after getting permission from both Elena and the high ranking priestess, Kizuna also followed behind them.
