The rest of the journey was quite comfortable. Elena and the ladies spent their time playing fun games together which was extremely rare for adult and busy women like them. When the ship performed the second teleportation, they once again came out to witness the light show again. Overall, the whole journey was quite fun for all the ladies.

As the ship started to get closer to the volcanic region, all the ladies stood on the deck of the airship to see it from the distance. After taking a closer look, Elena found that the region she had seen in the dream realm was a quite different from the real one.

The dream realm's volcanic islands were structured carefully which was not the case here. The area that this region covered was also larger as well.

But that made sense. The elder had prepared that place with the trial in mind. But the nature had no need to consider something like that. Elena again started to observe the location with her little sisters beside her.

There were seven extra large volcanoes in this region. As for small and medium sized ones, there were tens of thousands of them. As for regular large volcanoes, their numbers were also not low. At least a few hundreds of them were present here.

The material that the Shrine Maidens of the Inazuyan Archipelago wanted was a special type of ore that would be created in areas with extremely high concentration of fire and ground elemental energies. So only large volcanoes meet this condition.

That was not all. Any volcano with sparse amount of living beings could not give birth to it. So as most of the volcanic regions had very low population of living beings, this ore called the "Flamelife Core" was extremely rare. There were a few large volcanoes in Inazuyan Archipelago but among them only one was able to periodically give birth to this ore in a very small amount.

The Shrine Maiden had a special equipment that would allow them to utilise their god given authority more freely. There were several materials that could be used to create this item but Flamelife Core was the required material to create the best quality item.

But for this they needed a lot of Flamelife Core. So far, even after so many years, the Inazuyan Archipelago had managed to only create two best quality items. So if they could really find a lot of Flamelife Core here, that would increase the overall strength of the Inazuyan Archipelago by several degrees.

The airship left after dropping off all the Lightning Phantom Demons here. Giants were asked not to participate in this process of conquering this island even as a helper because the Inazuyan Archipelago wanted to do it all on their own. The giants would not always be there for the Archipelago so they wanted to do this whole thing all on their own from the start to the finish.

After coming out of the airship, all the lightning phantom demons started to construct a city. There were about 10 thousand of them, so the construction was going quite fast. Actually with the power of magic, creating regular buildings would not take much time for strong powerhouses. What took time was to reinforce the buildings with magic and to create a large scale formation for the safety of the city.

This city was going to became the base of the Lightning Phantom Demons in this nameless volcanic region. Without a strong base to rely on, it was impossible for them to do any serious exploration of this extremely dangerous place which had demigod rank native powerhouses.

But even before the construction of the city was done, a few individuals did start to explore the nearby islands. As all of those individuals were demigod rank powerhouses, they were not in too much risk. They would also not be going too far away from one another. So even if someone found themselves in a very dangerous situation, help would arrive for them very quickly.

Elena and the other girls were no different. They also decided to start exploring in a team of two. As for who would get to team up with Elena, all three of the ladies started a massive battle of card games. After a very hot blooded competition, Kizuna managed to win this opportunity. Elena saw how Kizuna cheated her way to victory but the methods she used for the cheating was so impressive that Elena did not mind it at all.

So it was decided that Elena and Kizuna would be in one team and Hibiki would be in the other team with Escora. They would also start exploring in different directions to maximize the searching range.

The island that Elena and Kizuna chose as their first exploration target had a mid sized volcano. Normally only islands with large sized volcanoes would have a chance of producing the Flamelife Core but this island was a bit special.

This mid scale island's volcano had an insane amount of fire elemental energy despite its smaller size. Not only that but the amount of lifeforms who lived on the island was also extremely high. So it had a perfect environment for the creation of the Flamelife Core. The only thing that might hinder this process was the limited amount of ground elemental energies.

To start their exploration, Elena and Kizuna started to search for places where a Flamelife Core could form. The best location for it was the middle of the volcano but it could also be found inside lava that had came out of the volcano.

Even though Kizuna was here mainly for the Flamelife Core, that was not her only objective here. She also wanted to research this island to see what other valuable materials it had to offer. As she was investing a lot of money in this project, she wanted to learn as much as she could about this location.

She was sure that a special location like this would have a lot of valuable things and not just the Flamelife Cores. So her searching was very thorough and methodical. She took the samples of soil, trees, animals and monsters. She did not mind if her pace of progress was slow. But her investigation must be thorough so that she did not miss anything.

On the other hand, Hibiki and Escora were progressing their searching at a very fast pace. The reason for that was their carefree nature. They were searching a large volcano with a high chance of having the Flamelife Core. So they did not care about the surroundings of the volcano and was only focused on reaching the centre of the volcano as fast as possible.

Normally Hibiki was also a cautious type who explored carefully. But Escora was a muscle headed person who got excited about finding several demigod rank powerhouses in just a single island and started to immediately fight them. Under her influence, Hibiki also started to get a bit muscle-headed herself.

That was how the exploration of the volcanic region started where both of the parties had taken a completely different approach in their exploration.
