In their thorough exploration, Elena and Kizuna had managed to find several rare plants and animals here. This would be a great boost to the alchemical development of the Inazuyan Archipelago specially because an excellent alchemist like Zarco was now there.

As for their main target, the Flamelife Core, Kizuna had managed to find just one in the vicinity of the volcano. But this was enough as it proved that even this mid sized volcano was capable of giving birth to the valuable Flamelife Core. In that case, the larger volcanoes would definitely be give birth to more.

With Elena's active help and the small size of the island, Kizuna was able to finish the exploration faster than she had expected. Now only the volcano located at the middle of the island was left for them to check.

They climbed up to the top of the volcano and on their way, Elena was able to find another Flamelife Core with her sharp eyes. Now Kizuna was really looking forward to how many would they be able to find at the middle of the volcano.

Almost all the volcanoes present in this region were either active or were sleeping. And this current volcano was of the first kind. So the inside of the volcano was a world of super hot magma. This would make the volcano an impossible challenge for any regular S rank powerhouse but for demigods like Elena and Kizuna, it was not a big deal. So both of the covered their body with mana and jumped inside the hot magma lake.

Magma was not like water, so the visibility there was almost zero. But with magic sight, that was also not a problem. There were a few monster fishes living here which were all exterminated by Elena and Kizuna quickly. Then they separated from each other to search the volcano in the quickest possible way.

While searching, Elena soon found three Flamelife Cores which was definitely a big deal. But the real discovery was made by Kizuna who had not only found two Flamelife Cores but also a Fireforce Crystal which was a very valuable material that even a demigod would have hard time processing. Any heavy weapon made by this would be super powerful.

While Elena and Kizuna were making progress at a very good rate, the same was not true for Escora and Hibiki. Escora and Hibiki were taking too much time with their fights and as the island they were searching was quite big, they were not able to make much progress even with their brute force approch.

Noticing this, Hibiki finally came back to her senses and changed her approach a little bit. While Escora still fought against the Demigod rank powerhouses and attracted their attention, Hibiki herself started to assassinate them from the shadows. She actually felt stupid for not doing this before.

With this little change in approach, the battles started to end rather quickly. So finally they were able to make some quick progress and reached the volcano at the centre of the island.

As they had not put much effort in exploration, they had not managed to find any Flamelife Core so far. But after they started to explore the inside of the active volcano, Flamelife Core started to appear left, right and center.

At the end, they managed find a total of 11 Flamelife Core in the volcano. Unfortunately for them, there was nothing in that volcano which was more valuable than the Flamelife Core. But still, overall, they could declare that their expedition as very successful.

After both of the parties were done exploring one of the volcanoes, they returned and meet back. Seeing the total gain, both Hibiki and Kizuna's eyes lit up. By only exploring two islands, they had managed to find more than 15 Flamelife Cores, so they could not even imagine how many more they would be able to find after that were done exploring this whole location.

But even though everything went well for the four ladies, that was not the case for everyone. The monsters which were found in this region was tougher than normal and the other demigods had a hard time against them. One of the Lightning Phantom Demons had even found an extremely powerful level 500 + flame devil in one of the volcanoes. He had barely managed to run away from that terrible foe but his whole body got burned very badly in the process.

But before making his run, he had gotten a glimpse of a material called the Golden Oirigion. This was a metal that was extremely extremely rare and any high ranking demigods would die to get their hands on it. This material could blend with the body of a powerhouse and could give birth to an inherent weapon after getting nourished in that person's body. These type of weapons were very strong, so all the demigods who heard about it were thrilled even with the danger involved.

They were all planning to team up to take care of that flame devil. With more than a dozen demigods teaming up, that flame devil should not be able to win. They had also came to invite Hibiki and Kizuna but they had rejected this proposal.

An inherent weapon was desirable even for them but for the time being, they did not see the need. Hibiki already had weapons which were not only extremely suitable for her but were also her absolute favourite. So she had no intention to change them for the time being.

As for Kizuna, she mainly used magic and summoning, so she needed staff or catalyst as her weapon. But the Golden Oirigion was not really very suitable for this type of weapon. So she was also not very interested in it.

But the main reason why they did not accept the invitation was because they were going to join Elena to explore a special island next. The child birthing spirit monster that Elena had seen was very interesting and after hearing about Elena's interest, the giant elder had told her the location of the island where he had seen that particular monsters.

That island in question was actually a super rare dead volcano of this region and had the most bizzare lifeforms. The birth giving spirit was just a small part of the bizarreness of this island. So Elena was really very excited to explore it.

That island was also the one of if not the most dangerous location of this area according to the same elder. Almost all the monsters present there were of the demigod rank, which was extremely surprising. The elder was sure that this Island was hiding some kind of massive secret but when he came here, he was not strong enough. So he had not managed to find that out. So Elena wanted to see what that was.
