After this grand event, the ladies finally completed their negotiations with the intelligent monsters on the next day and returned back from the special island to inform the shrine maidens about it. After that the Shrine Maidens took on the responsibility to be in contact with the monsters while the four ladies continued their exploration on the other islands.

After four days, it was time for Escora to go back. This little vacation of hers was not long, so she was only able to spend this much time with her new friends. And during this time, the Lightning Phantom demons had also managed to complete their base building and were ready to explore this area in earnest.

So from now on, Hibiki and Kizuna would also start to get busier. They would not have the time to slowly explore everything anymore. For that reason, Elena also decided that it was time for her to say goodbye to these new little sisters of hers.

So on their last day together, all the ladies had a sleepover where they did not sleep at all and instead spent all their time just having fun and chatting. Just like that, the fun night was over and it was time for the ladies to go on their separate ways. But it was not a big deal as Elena had given all of them something to contact not only her but also each other even when they were seperated by a whole realm, so none of the ladies were too disappointed. They all were also busy adults and long living races, so for them, this little separation would just make their next reunion more enjoyable.

Elena and Escora left the volcanic region together as she was responsible for taking Escora to one of the nodes that could bring her to the City of the Giants through the gates of Valhalla. Then in front of the gate, the two ladies hugged each other and Escora entered the gate to return.

Elena had already decided on her next destination which was the beautiful city located under the sea. So after bidding Escora goodbye, she started to travel toward that city.

This Valhalla gate node that Elena had chosen to send Escora back was located quite close to the city under the sea. The name of this city was Ikostia and it was a very famous city where many people came to visit.

Unfortunately for Elena, she would not be able to meet with the city lord whom she had seen in the dream realm. The elder who had made the trial about this city had already confirmed that his old friend was no longer the city lord there.

After the death of his daughter, he became a depressed man and started to care less about the city. After releasing that he was in no condition to manage the city now, he had handed the lordship of the city to someone else and had left for a journey with his wife.

As for where he currently was, the giant elder had gotten a message from him many years ago that he was going to the Elysium. As for where exactly, he had no idea.

That was a bit disappointing for Elena but technically she had actually never seen this man so she did not mind it too much. Even without that, this sea city was extremely beautiful without any doubt. So Elena was looking forward to visiting it.

As for how she was going there, it would be by a submarine like vehicle. She could have just swam there but Kizuna had told her that travelling in the submarine like vehicle called the Deep Sea Bound was a magical experience that shouldn't be missed.

As Kizuna had actually visited this city once for vacation, Elena had asked her everything about it. Kizuna had praised the experience of riding the Deep Sea Bound to the high heavens, so Elena had no intentions to miss it.

So to find this Deep Sea Bound, Elena appeared in a city called Golvika. It was a small seaside city which had nothing special except for some coral rifts near it and it's close distance from the beautiful city of Ikostia. For that reason, this city was mostly a hub from where the visiters of the Ikostia booked their Deep Sea Bound ride.

After coming to the city, Elena went to the adventurer guild to gather some information. She actually wanted to go to a bar or tavern but it turned out that the largest tavern of this city actually belonged to the adventurer guild.

Elena had not taken any serious adventuring request when she was in Inazuyan Archipelago. So after entering the guild, she felt like checking on what kind of quests were available in this city. So while making sure to keep her ears open for any interesting news, Elena started to check the guild board.

As this city was quite small, the scale of this adventurer guild was also small. So it did not have many requests. Most of the requests here were about hunting some species of monster fishes. These kind of requests paid decently but without having good swimming skills, these missions were extremely hard to complete. So any adventurer coming here from the outside would have a hard time competing with the locals.

While checking what types of monster fishes could be found here, Elena noticed a special section of the board. This section recorded the bounties of various people. Elena found this to be very interesting and started to check it out.

As she was doing that, a conversation reached her ears. A group of drunk adventurers were grumbling about how they were beaten up by the pirates of the Deep Sea. Elena also found that most of the bounties were also on these same pirates.

Finding interest in this topic, Elena went to chat with a free receptionist. After showing her rank as a demigod, the receptionist respectfully took her to a private reception room to have a conversation.

When Elena asked her about the Deep Sea pirates, the receptionist started to immediately give her a speech. It looked like this was a common question that was always asked to her and she had already completely memorised the answer to this.

The Deep Sea pirates were not much different from regular pirates except for the fact that they used Deep Sea Bound to travel the sea instead of regular ships. The sea of this area had a very powerful wind storm so travelling in it with a normal ship was almost impossible. But miraculously, this turbulent storm did not affect the world below the sea surface at all. So all the people of this area used the Deep Sea Bounds to travel around.

As the Deep Sea Bounds were more expensive than a regular ship, most of the deep Sea pirates were either rich or very powerful. Many merchants came here in order to start a business in the super famous Ikostia city and those merchants were the main targets of the deep Sea pirates.

From this description, it looked like these pirates were just like bandits but were just using different means for robbing. But next the receptionist lady said something that made Elena to change her perception of these Deep Sea pirates.
