According to the receptionist ladies, there were two types of Deep Sea pirates. One kind were cruel, greedy and bloodthirsty, just like regular bandits and they had the highest bounties in the adventurer guild. But there was also a different kind of pirates who were celebrated as heroes by the people of the city.

These second kind of pirates targeted only the evil merchants. As the city of Ikostia was a big fish, many kind of merchants visited it for various purposes. Among those merchants, there were several evil ones who dealt in illigal drugs, slaves and more restricted materials. These merchants were also extremely rich.

These kind of merchants were the primary targets of the "good" pirates and they also help the needy people of the city quite often. For this reason, the reputation of these pirates among the population was quite good.

The adventurer guild was a neutral organisation, so they handled both the evil pirates and the good pirates the same way. But the head of the guild had used his power to lower to the bounty for the good pirates quite a bit even though most of them were quite strong.

That way, no capable adventurer would ever take on the task of their bounty as the reward was way too low for the difficulty that they would face and the hardships that they had to endure in order to complete it.

After thoroughly searching the nearby sea areas, he was successful in his mission but his son was already half dead and had developed a mental trauma from this experience.

That influential person was extremely angry about this matter and had launched a complaint about the bad management of the rulers of the city of Golvika. The city of the Golvika was almost completely dependent on the city of Ikostia for most things, especially economy. So as soon as this complaint was launched, even the lazy ruler of Golvika had became active to start the pirate clean up.
